I am getting excited to see the Halloween decorations at the MK and also experience MNSSHP. With MNSSHP, I have experienced all the parties at DL and WDW. Speaking of my trip, I still have a lot to do these next few weeks until our trip. Since I have elders with me and have trouble walking at the park, I am thinking of getting them wheelchairs or ECV. They did tell me that they don't want to be in a wheelchair or ECV during the trip. The next option for them is to go to Guest Relations to get a GAC card for them.

I am so looking forward to getting my iPhone 5 on Friday.

Pretty good. I just found a lower rate for our rental car in Honolulu so now it's down to $131.

I prefer the WDW for Halloween, we've had a lot of fun at the MNSSHP in the past. Next year I'll be taking my niece, nephew, DD & DSIL with us.

I would get a GAC card for them and if needed then rent an ECV. It might only take a day or two of walking before they change their mind.

You'll have to tell about the features on the iphone 5 once you get it.

I know you don't "work, work"....but the rest of us that do work have the weekends off....I think that sometimes, you tend to keep doing your 'chores' and miss out on that down time.

Yeah well the problem with that is Fran doesn't get the whole weekend down idea, in fact since Darcy has a 7-1 day job, it's the only day we get her all day so it works out as a harder day for me!

Alison you need to schedule that break ASAP!

That is good to hear that you found a lower rate for the rental car for your Honolulu trip. I still don't have my rental car for my WDW trip and I am waiting at the last second for a great deal. I have some rental car companies that have something I want to drive at Orlando.

I will be looking forward to WDW during the Halloween season. I am also kind of sad that I won't be able to go to the DLR during the Halloween season. But after hearing and seeing all those pics from the latest update, I am not that sad anymore to miss the DLR. MNSSHP will be very interesting and compare it to MVMCP and MHP at DL.

They told me that they wanted to walk at the park and don't want a wheelchair or ECV. But I told them that this is a lot of walking and we don't know what the weather will be in October/November. I am hoping that it will be nice weather. My uncle and aunt will have trouble walking up stairs and all that walking at the parks which make sense for them to get a GAC card. I will have to remember to go to Guest Relations and see if they can get one or not. But if they don't I will try to get them a wheelchair or ECV during the trip.

That is what I am worried about the most since my aunt and uncle will have some trouble walking at the parks. WDW is way bigger than the DLR and I hope that they can handle the walking. The way it looks like that we will have to take a lot of breaks for them. There is a lot of planning to do.

I ordered the iPhone at 12:01am last Friday and I checked my email and said that the iPhone is already in transit and is on it's way to Sacramento. I am so excited to get it on Friday.

I think you're going to love being at WDW for Halloween. I haven't seen the Halloween decorations at DLR but I just loved what they did at WDW.

My dad has been to WDW twice and he's not exactly young. He does walk....but tires easily. And he doesn't carry a mobile phone either.

Do you have a plan to manage separation and meet-ups?

I am really looking forward to the Halloween season at WDW. It will be very interesting to compare the MK and DL during the Halloween season in which both parks are decorated. DL has some advantages over the MK during the Halloween season which they have the Halloween Round-Up in Frontierland, Dia de los Muertos, Ray Bradbury Halloween Tree, Haunted Mansion Holiday & Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. When you go to DLR next year before the DISer meet-up you will be blown away with the Halloween decorations at DL.

At least my uncle and aunt do have cell phones and they just don't like wheelchairs or ECV's. They want to walk around just like any other people at the parks but they will have trouble keeping up and will get tired easily. They are thinking of bringing their walkers with them during the trip instead of a getting a wheelchair. If they do that, then we have to go to Guest Relations and get a GAC for them.

I will be mostly with them along with my two uncles, my DB and his GF. But one day we will be by ourselves during MNSSHP on the 30th. I am being the tour guide for my relatives during the trip.

I am taking a risk of getting a rental car with about a month to go to the trip and hope that there will be a great deal so I can save some money. I talked to my relatives and asked what parks they want to do during the trip and told me that they want to go to EPCOT twice and possibly the MK, DHS & AK. They are not that interested in the other three parks than EPCOT. Not only because it is EPCOT also the Food & Wine Festival which intrigues them the most since they like to eat different cuisines around the world. I am still in the process of working out my plans. With all that walking at the parks, they could get an ECV while we are at the parks. If we do that, then we have to go to the rental area every time before we enter the park and they don't want to do that. So getting the GAC is the best option for them if they want to walk.

I hope you like the I5, I am afraid to get things right away before all the bugs are worked out . Hopefully they will have an easy time walking around so they don't get tired. I hope you get a good deal on the rental car. It seems they charge a fortune no matter what kind of a good rate they say it is. How are you today?
