Amtrak to Orlando Question, Please Help, Would like to book

Hi.

I am going to take Amtrak down to Orlando by myself in March and meet my family and fly home, so one way.

I remember reading once that there is another stop right after the Orlando station that is much less expensive.

Does anyone know what this would be?

The Kissimmee station is closer to WDW than the Orlando station, so cab fare will be around $15 less if you get off there.

The cost is the same, but i will tell you the truth, if you get off at orlando ( nicer station btw ) you will get to WDW ( assume that is where you are going ) sooner. My sister and i were on the same train and i got off in orlando, she got off in Kissimmee, I was done checking in and before she arrived. ( same resort ).

I have Amtrak opened and ready to book but now confused as to what to do?

Also, approximately how long is the drive and approximate cost for taxi? How did you get from the train to the taxi? Did you have to call ahead of time?
