Gentlemen, wish me luck. I won the lottery to purchase Reds playoff tickets, and they go on sale in 46 minutes. I'm stretching my mouse finger right now, hoping to get something better than nosebleeds. :thumbsup2

Congrads, I have tries the last two years for playoff ticket and have not won the chance yet.

Well, you're allowed to buy up to 4 if you win the chance to buy in the lottery, so a few of my friends and I all enter it and hope one of us wins and can get some tickets. In 2010 one of my friends won for the NLDS, and this year I won for the NLDS. None of them got a code to buy them this time. Hopefully the Reds will roll through the playoffs and one of us can win so we can see a game in each series. :thumbsup2

I just started looking at what we do for sports and thinking there could be a vacation in there somewhere. Town soccer $80, field hockey $80, AAU hoops $500, AAU baseball $2,500 and today town hoops for both $100. If they make travel teams it is even more.:faint:

I'm starting to think I'm just an ATM at this point. :lmao::rotfl2:

I know we were all discussing the sports costs. By themselves they seem OK. When you really think about it, that's a lot for playing. When I was a kid, we just had gym class in school.

2500 for baseball, holy cow that's a pile of money. What do you get for that?

AArrgg, not going to read the 20 plus pages I missed, no new mates. So congrats and prayers to all the swabs.

Pirate effort. "Take what you can, give nothing back."

All right, what the hell is Kentucky legend ham and how can I get one? I always do ham for New Years and use the bone and scraps for navy bean soup.

If it is covered by insurance, do what the Dr. suggested. GET THE MRI. I ignored advice and spent 6 weeks in the hospital and over a year to recover after I "thought it would get better."

I am considered co-insurance on those types of scans, so it is a % of bill, instead of a co-pay. I know I still have a herniated/ bulging disc in my lower back, and I know it does get worse when I get referring pain in by toes or legs. However, since those parts on hurting, I'm going with the symptom method. I guess there could be some new techniques I am not aware of, other than surgery, but I still plan to put that far off. I had stopped doing by PT exercises with my back when I hurt my ankle. Hopefully, this will fix the pain and I can return to my version of normal.

I hear you. $1000 dance for one. She is doing choir and cross country at school which are free, and only require that inexpensive gasoline to get them places. The other one has soccer, softball, and basketball for the other. Even with gas and clothes and equipment, she is cheaper than the oldest one.

Kentucky: One of the last great inland sea turtle playgrounds.

Wading out in the shallows for 3 days was the tricky part.

Beware of roid rage!!

Different type, but it sure does work. I got a script for flexeril every 8 hours and a refill on the bottle. If I take that many a day, I'll be in own personal DisneyLand. All this stuff should just be over the counter. Amazing.

Well they are doing an update to POTC guessing that's why it'll be closed Oct 9th, it'll be cool to see it on the 8th during MNSSHP and then on the 10th to see just how diff it'll be, heard the rumor is a mermaid attack scene, as always I'm excited

I didn't see that, but yeah, we will make sure to ride that a few time at the first MNSSHP.

Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate. pirate:][/B]

My Jolly Sailor Bold Lyrics
Upon one summer's morning, I carefully did stray,
Down by the Walls of Wapping, where I met a sailor gay,
Conversing with a bouncing lass, who seem'd to be in pain,
Saying, William, when you go, I fear you will ne'er return again.
His hair hangs in ringlets, his eyes as black as soles,
My happiness attend him wherever he goes,
From Tower Hill, down to Blackwall, I'll wander, weep and moan,
All for my jolly sailor bold, until he does return.
My father is a merchant — the truth I will now tell,
And in great London City in opulence doth dwell,
His fortune doth exceed 300,000 gold,
And he frowns upon his daughter, 'cause she loves a sailor bold.
A fig for his riches, his merchandise, and gold,
True love has grafted my heart; give me my sailor bold:
Should he return in poverty, from o'er the ocean far,
To my tender bosom, I'll fondly press my jolly tar.
My sailor is a smiling as the pleasant month of May,
And oft we have wandered through Ratcliffe Highway,
Where many a pretty blooming girl we did behold,
Reclining on the bosom of her jolly sailor bold.
My name it is Maria, a merchant's daughter fair,
And I have left my parents and three thousand pounds a year,
Come all you pretty fair maids, whoever you may be
Who love a jolly sailor bold that ploughs the raging sea,
While up aloft, in storm, from me his absence mourn,
And firmly pray, arrive the day, he home will safe return.
My heart is pierced by Cupid, I disdain all glittering gold,
There is nothing that can console me but my jolly sailor bold.

Darcy,

Forgot to wish you a happy birthday. Anything special going on for the day?

Thanks.

Nothing going on tonight; DW has meet the teacher tonight so there is a bunch of us going out for dinner on Saturday.

Woohoo Page 159 OWNAGE!!

KY Legend Ham.

I have a glaze recipe that makes it even better. It involves pineapple juice and brown sugar.

1/2 ham
Juice from 16 oz. can sliced pineapple (save rings)
1/2 cup brown sugar
Bring juice to boil and stir in brown sugar until creamy mixture.

In seperate bowl, mix 1/4 cup hot water and a tablespoon of cornstarch.

Combine two to thicken glaze while boiling.

Cook ham at 350 for 60 minutes with foil and 1/2 cup water. Pour glaze over ham 30 minutes and cook another 30 minutes.

Line pineapples around base of ham on serving plate.

I can understand that. Don't let it take you down, you have a WDW trip coming up, right?

Watching reruns of Tanked on Animal Planet. That and Gator Boys have taken over our house as favorites. It is hard to get into the Turtleman. It is just so hard to see so many KY stereotypes represented. I'm not saying they aren't true, just don't need to be reminded of it.

Just got my Nashville predators tix for the games I picked out through the season, all of them say VOID on them, now an email saying hey your tix are void would make more sense then sending out tix that are already voided sounds like a big waste of money
