where would you stay when visiting WDW and why?? :goodvibes I was trying to come up with an answer to this question earlier and I really can't. I have only ever stayed at a deluxe resort once, the Polynesian. It was a great trip and a great location, but not sure that would be the IDEAL spot. Just curious as to what your opinions would be!

Club level at the Poly. It IS the ideal spot. You have the monorail, you have the TTC less than a 5 minute walk away. You have the Electrical Water pagaent. You can watch Wishes from the beach or inside the concierge building and they pipe the music in. Plus, it's the POLY!!!

If I could stay anywhere --

POR for sure! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are clean, the personnel are outstanding in helpfulness as well as in being polite, the food court is above expectations, the public indooor & outdoor main areas are clean as well as beautiful to look at, the pools are spotless, the paths are paved well for ECVs & wheelchairs, the accommodations are excellent both for mobility issue & non-mobility issue guests.

POR is THE most RELAXING resort we have stayed at. We LOVE it there!

If money was no object than we would stay at the poly we stay there a couple of years ago and just loved it.

That sounds pretty darn good to me!

If money was no object, I would probably stay at all the deluxe resorts!

Grand Villa at BLT or GF. They look super nice and have the MK views.

OR the Cinderella Suite in the castle for just a night to say that I've done it.

My first response would have been DAKL, just for the fact it's so unique. Thinking of spending 10 days (our usual) and all that could be done, I guess I'd have to agree with those Poly fans. We usually don't spend much time at the resort, so Pop is great for us, but Poly sure would be great.

Since we always stays at the Epcot resorts, the BW and YC/BC would be my favorites. Love the easy access to two parks and all the restaurants the area has along with Epcot. By year end we will have stayed at all three this year. We have stayed at all the monorail resorts also but Epcot is our favorite area.

Due to construction at Grand Floridian I would say Poly CL

But after construction is complete that would change to Grand Floridian RPC

I have already thought and planned this out if I win lottery!! :)
Im heading to Yacht club Concierge captains deck suite!!!!

GV (3-bedrooms) at BLT with MK view. (it also has lake view)

GV (3-bedrooms) at BWV - great views of BW and Epcot.

or buy a house or condo near WDW and go when and for how long I wanted too.

WL:thumbsup2

Except then I'd go for Cl or even one of the big suites, haven't won the lottery yet  so I'll have to settle for saving up for a standard room ...

If money were no object, I'd buy a house in celebration!;-)
But, I think I would split stay between the Poly (never stayed there, but my living room is decorated in a Polynesian theme, because it is my happy place!),and boardwalk, with maybe a few days at akl!

Of course, I would have to get a VIP tour, to make it all worth while!
