DH and I are taking our grandkids to WDW and wondered, since the last name is different, do I need their BCs? Last trip their mom and dad was with and I don't recall needing anything. Just want to be prepared. Flying from Az.
Thanks! I figured this was the case but need to be sure. As long as my granddaughter doesn't have a melt down and start screaming "You're not my mommy!" hehe
But taking the kids somewhere without the parents...you should have a notarized letter saying you have permission to travel AND to get medical care for them anyway, so it would be covered in that letter IF you were ever asked for proof.
You really don't need this, unless the parents are going to accuse you of kidnapping! other than that no one cares.
Medically all you need is the insurance card. They are going to call anyway or can call and with cell phones it really isn't a big deal anymore.
