We are going to Aulani the first week of Oct, and have found out the nightly show is no longer going.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a child friendly (food and entertainment) luau we might be able to attend? We dont have to do this thought it might be fun for the smalls?

Thanks

Thats a bummer that the show at Aulani is not running now. It wasn't nightly when we were there but we did go. It was a good show but it wasn't a full luau. We wished it would have been longer because the entertainment was great and the venue was small making it feel more private.

Just down the street from Aulani is the Paradise Cove Luau. We did it and it was good and kid friendly. They do a lot of activities for the kids before the meal. The food was okay, the show was good but its a big venue and they bring bus loads of guests from Waikiki so it can get crowded. With that said we still had a good experience.

If you go I highly suggest buying a Entertainment Book for Honolulu. There is a coupon for the adult tickets to this show that will more than pay for itself.

Good luck and enjoy your trip. Aulani is an amazing resort.

I can't think of one that's little kid friendly. You might want to explore the PCC luau meal that provides entertainment rather than doing a full luau assuming you plan to do the PCC anyway. Otherwise the luau next door is about as good as any in that regard (paradise cove). The marriott is also still doing their show which is much smaller and some say better food.

I wouldn't recommend the Paradise Cove luau. The tickets are expensive and the food is not very good! Are you sure Startlit hui won't be showing? There are other cultural things foing on at the resort like storytelling with Uncle and ukele playing.

We had a different experience with Paradise Cove. Me, my wife, and 3 teens all enjoyed the show and the food. If you pre-purchase online you can save half the cost (at least it did for us earlier this year).
