Newbie here but been lurking and think it's a great site and wanted to say hello :wave2:

A celebration DLP trip has been booked for mid-March 2013, staying at DHNY, (loving that 40% Disney offer!) and I was wondering if any of you could help me out with any information on the following. Apologies if this has been asked before any help would be appreciated.

* Can a family of 4 adults take fresh fruit, veg, bread products etc on the Eurostar and legally into France? I know some countries are strict about what food products can be taken over borders but not sure about France's policies.

* I will be at the Parks during St. Patricks Day, has anyone got any pictures or know if Disney put up special decorations/have special parades etc during this celebration time?

Just set-up my ticker, let the planning commence pixiedust:

Hello and welcome to the boards :flower3:

You can buy fresh fruit and veg at Auchan Val d'Europe and fresh bread from there too so you don't need to bring them with you. Save you carting them around.

Legally I don't think you can bring meat and fish in but it's been so long that I've brought any food back from anywhere that I don't know about other fresh produce.

For St Patricks they have Irish dancing and charcters dress up in Irish costume. THere is a bit added to the parade. You also get fireworks and events in the Village

It's pretty crowded though.

Have a look at a few videos from this year and you can find many more on Youtube ;)

Hi Carrie Cat, thanks ever so! The youtube vids are great, it's been a while since i was last at DLP, prob about over 10 years so really getting excited about seeing it again and good to know about the purchasing local food options.

Thanks for the welcome but I failed miserably at getting my ticker set-up! Do i have to copy and paste the ticker in each time i post or is there a way of getting it attached to my user-name? I think i definitely need some more practice .... :-)

Hi TripHapi :welcome: to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board.

This is a friendly board, please join in on any thread or if you have any questions please start a new one of your own.

If you haven't had a look yet, the DLP DISboard posting rules are here and the DIS posting guidelines can be found here. :)

Wow, you're going to see some changes after 10 years!

Regarding your ticker - if you go into UserCP near the top left of the page you then click on 'Edit Signature' in the Control Panel and it will take you to where you can paste your signature.
