Like your boat shot too, Mike. Did you use a wide angle lens for it?

Thank you I actually used my Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens for the boat picture.

Here is a picture I almost didn't even bother processing. I started working on it and didn't really care for how it looked so I asked my wife what she thought of it and she said she loved it so here we are now lol. Goes to show what do I know lol.

Here is a picture I almost didn't even bother processing. I started working on it and didn't really care for how it looked so I asked my wife what she thought of it and she said she loved it so here we are now lol. Goes to show what do I know lol.

Hi everyone...Anyone have thoughts on the new flash available for the nex-5? I was in best buy yesterday and I saw a flash that looked bigger and I could attach to my camera. I seem to have some night shot issues and am debating if the shots may come out better with a better flash. Its $149.00. Anyone think this will make a difference? Thanks so much

Danjocass, I'm not sure the types of photos you're taking at night (indoor, portraits, landscapes/cityscapes). The external Sony flash that you're talking about has a bounce feature that would be great for indoor portraits. If you're shooting scenery, you will definitely want a tripod and remote shutter release. I'm not a big flash photography person but use it occasionally for family snapshots and the external larger flashes are stronger and offer more flexibility because it can be rotated to bounce and you can modify it with a diffuser.

Thank you so much for your response. I attached a couple of pictures so that you can see what I mean. The shots I took were when we were on vacation. I have used my camera a lot since but mostly in the daytime. Still trying to get the hang of all this camera has to offer. So these two pictures I think could have came out a little crisper. Don't mind the face on my DD, it was the longest day of our vacation and I was trying to get shots of her for our holiday card & she was so tired and done with me trying to get a "great shot"

Thanks Mike! I didn't think about its then but I wish I would've got more focus on the ToT. I thought I was shooting at f16 but my adapter aperture ring was acting up. My adapter has an aperture control with NO clicks or lock.
