Seriously, don't you think these are two perfect advertisements for Disney??

ETA: Sorry for the HUGENESS of these but photobucket is being a pain in the rear!

Oh Mum from OZ, how wonderful that you are going to finish your TR! :thumbsup2 Over the past months, I have regularly checked your blog (as I do for Shush's) to see if there are any updates. It's been stuck on the parade for ages and, whilst they are lovely photos, I began to presume you had given up. Off to read now so thanks so much :yay:

Great report! I love all the photos :) Looking forward to reading the rest!

Another great update Mum from OZ. I loved AK but we only had one day there so it was quite rushed getting everything ticked off. I'd love to have more time to just wander and enjoy the scenery.

That made me laugh when you said Steve wouldn't wear a Disney poncho. On our trip, I took cheap (I wasn't going to pay Disney prices! :rotfl2:) and plain ponchos from here to wear on the really wet water rides (Kali and the IOA rides) and DH did wear one of those on Kali. However, on the night of our MNSSHP, I never thought of taking our ponchos with us. During the night, when we came out of Space Mountain, we found it was teaming down with rain. We waited in the gift shop for a whle (where you exit the ride) but the rain wasn't stopping and I noticed lots of people buying ponchos. In fact the store supply of them seemed to be going down fast. Hence, we figured we'd better get some before they ran out and so that we could continue on with the party. So about US$45 later, DH did end up wearing a Disney poncho. That didn't surprise me that much because it was out of necessity but, when packing for his motorcycle trip of Cambodia with a bunch of guy friends earlier this year, DH asked me where I'd put our Disney ponchos. I was shocked that he wanted to take his on his trip! However, apparently, according to him, they are good quality ponchos and he planned to wear it over himself and his back pack if he ended up riding in rain. So DH ended up taking a little bit of our WDW trip to Cambodia :lmao:

Lmao! I was surprised at the quality of their ponchos. We took ours back and dried them over the staircase and have them packed away for future trips.

loving the trip. as this year will be our first wdw trip, we appreciate the insight into all the fun stuff to do in all the parks :)

Mum from Oz, another great update thanks. :thumbsup2 My current WDW dream is to stay at an EPCOT resort, have park hoppers and be on the dining plan so that we could just pop into EPCOT each night for dinner :cloud9: By the way, I think the Illuminations photos you posted are great and waaaay better than mine!! :rotfl2:

Next update is Legoland with Ohana for dinner.

Day 7 - Legoland

Here is a cracker of a photo from the day , DD's first wooden rollercoaster.

I just adore the boating academy pic ( lopsided one) as it a replica of the one I have from the California LL in 2010. I had 2 kids in the boat too and boy were we all glad to get off that one....

I really did enjoy LL , our kids were just the right age at the time.despite having an almost 6yo the others are too big and doubt they would enjoy now. Did they have a water park at this LL?

They didn't have one when we went, it opened this summer (US) so we're planning a trip there next year and will probably do the water parks as it is only about $10 more. The kids loved Legoland and are still in the right age bracket, they will be 7 and 5 when we go next time.
