DTD Boat - Do SSR and OKW share?

Remind me: are the SSR and OKW boats to/from DTD different?

I'm wondering if I can get on the boat (when disembarking at SSR from DTD) and hop a ride to OKW -assuming that's the next stop?

Or are they separate? Which would mean I'd have to take a boat to DTD and then hop on the OKW boat.

OKW and SSR were separated when THV came online. I don't remember for sure but you may need to take the red flag shuttle boat from the DTD SSR dock to the DTD OKW dock.

SSR and OKW have separate boats.

OKW: from OKW Hospitality House to Pleasure Island dock, and back.

SSR: from THV to SSR dock to Pleasure Island dock, and back.

So you would have to change boats at Pleasure Island dock. Both the SSR boat and OKW boat use the Pleasure Island dock, so it would be a simple transfer.

Not in any direct manner. It is heavily wooded between the two and the main roadways are not equipped for pedestrian traffic.

You could walk through the Lake Buena Vista golf course which begins at SSR and winds through OKW but it would not be a very direct route and it isn't marked (or well illuminated at night) for pedestrian use.

Close within 1 mile as the crow files but you would have to cross the river (Gators) and then cross a swamp (Snakes).
If you want to walk along the roads or next to the golf course it is about 2 miles. The road walk I would NOT recommend, dangerous crossing the river bridge with no walking lane. The golf course you walk starting between the SSR boat ramp/golf course clubhouse. It comes out at OKW near Building 55.

One nice thing with the boats is that the SSR and OKW resort boats are on the same schedule so you should be able to take the boat to the dock at DTD and immediately catch the boat out to OKW without having to wait long. Just let the driver know you want to go to OKW when you get off. When we were there last weekend both boats left to go back to the resorts at the same time and came in at about the same time.

We often walk from SSR to OKW it's very relaxing walk along the canal

Is "THV" "Tree House Villas"?
I took the nature walk between OKW and SSR, and there is a footbridge marked "Cast Members Only" that leads from the nature walk over the creek, right to the Tree House Villas.
As stated, the walk is not illuminated, so I think there is a sign that says it closes at dusk.
