Good morning guys!

We had a great day yesterday. It started off with us being selected for a special photo shoot with Mulan and Mushu. Some cast members took us back to China and everything was roped off and a photographer had all of this cool gear set up.

It's for future promotional material but no guarantee that we will be selected. Epcot crowds were really light yesterday, only 11k! for the whole day.

DD and I rode Mission Space numerous times in a row, she loved it. Rode Soarin, ate good food and met up with a couple of Dis Dads. Today is AK. Have a great one guys!

Yesterday I did get to meet Jack Hannah again, and I did ask the question Why are there no platypus's in any zoo's in the U.S.

He liked the question and before answering it he added that only 2 zoo's in Australia have one

But the answer is that the Australian Government will not grant release to let any out of the country, they feel they are best protected in their natural environment

Although I would really like to see one, It was great to hear that they are doing well in the wild and are not endangered

Wow, low crowds and a special photo shoot. Cool. Did they give you pictures or was it basically some kind of thing where if it doesn't get used for the promotional material, you'll never see them again?

You guys definitely have me wishing we had the money to go for it.

It took us 17 months after we chose to buy in to acually pull the triger and buy. Be patient and plan it out.

Don't stretch yourself too thin on payments. Other than divorce, I think that is why there are so many resales. Having to pay monthly payments and dues just makes you start to dread the payment, which is you dread What the payment represents - Disney. Save up the cash and Buy a small resale contract at WDW DVC. Then, you can always add on resale or purchase direct thru Disney as a member. If you plan to use your member points exchange elsewhere, then resale isn't the route to go. It is a lot to consider, but I never recommend anyone go into debt to do it.

I have to agree with AirGoofy, if you can afford it wait. it is well worth the wait.

From best to worst. Looks like I better put those plans on moving to Vegas on hold.

Over-thinking it I believe. Some pointed out that it's concentrated pineapple juice, which is somehow different from pineapple. Others said that there are other flavors, but all of them have the soft-serve ice cream, so that must be it.

So let me help you over think things a bit more...

Supposedly, the ice cream served at Aloha Isle is dairy free. Therefore, it isn't "real" soft serve ice cream.


I think I'd go with pineapple on this one. Soft serve ice cream is soft serve ice cream. The stuff in Dole Whips is nothing special. It's the pineapple flavor that sets it over the top.

My AK tip... if on the DDP, I found the BEST USE (value) of a snack credit was the Funnel Cake near Camp Minnie Mickey.
