Went on a few growing up ( non Disney ) they are fun in their own way and relaxing, see new sites, perfect trip would be a few days at wdw then a 3 or 4 day cruise and then prob some more wdw lol sounds expensive haha

We are doing one night at WDW, 4 night cruise, and 1or2 night at WDW.

Are you paying for the cruise with DVC points? Is the exchange rate a good deal?

The cruise was $2700 for the 4 of us. I think it was over 300 points. Normally, we use a little over 100 points for the week at WDW. But, it does include food.

Yesterday I did get to meet Jack Hannah again, and I did ask the question Why are there no platypus's in any zoo's in the U.S.:confused3

He liked the question and before answering it he added that only 2 zoo's in Australia have one:confused3

But the answer is that the Australian Government will not grant release to let any out of the country, they feel they are best protected in their natural environment

Although I would really like to see one, It was great to hear that they are doing well in the wild and are not endangered:goodvibes:thumbsup2

Greetings from the American Adventure!
The spelling is far too good for someone who met Zerf today.

Hurricane Ike hit us in KY and ripped off my roof. I had never seen anything like it.
That sucks. Did you get any damage from Katrina when it moved up through the Midwest? We didn't get much wind from this one, but Katrina put a tree limb through my garage roof.

So the Flynn Fletcher family is violating some kind of international treaty or something? Is this the kind of thing Disney endorses these days???

Sounds busy. Have fun, or don't sleep at meeting.

I'll try. Managed to get through today's conference call without snoring once

We had a big soccer win tonight and the 3 points moved us in 4th place and the last play-off spot. Two more games this weeks against the last place team and a chance to put some space between us and the 5th place team.

Only 2 meetings tomorrow and no soccer. :dance3:

Disney is probably doing a great public service, Really without Perry how many kids do you think would actually even know what a platypus is:confused3

See that sounds awesome, Id stow away in the luggage but I've seen some of those customs checks and I don't like the rubber glove treatment

From best to worst. Looks like I better put those plans on moving to Vegas on hold.

Thanks. Just ordered mine this morning! Sound like just what I need.

OK, I'm now at 99 posts. Who wants to be 100?

Congrats on picking this up. It is the shi+ I love it. Just used it yesterday.

I haven't stayed yet but I just bought. I listened to norms advice too. I don't regret it.

Resale points can not be exchanged for cruises. There was a new restriction placed on those purchased after a year or so ago.

Though I'm resale I'm not sad. I hear the cruise point exchange is actually not point or cost effective

We are trying a cruise next year. I can't imagine liking it more than WDW.

You might like it as much though. Trust me, I'm a lawyer

long day. very tired... yet again.

hopefully tomorrow I'll actually get to a few of the things I wanted to do. One of those things is applying for the M*m's Panel. There was quite the debate on what the correct answer is to a question about DoleWhips.

It's on page 2 of the application. I didn't get that far yet. I'll let you guys know tomorrow.

From what I read, the question was something like, "What ingredient makes a Dole Whip so special?" and multiple choice answers were soft-serve ice cream, pineapple, whipped cream, or strawberries?? I could be mistaken about the choices. The debate centered around the soft-serve and pineapple.

btw, all is good in Fantasyland. Put a drubbing on my little brother in our FFL. Looks like I have the highest scoring team this week depite leaving AP on the bench and having Rivers at QB again this year.

Also got a first round bye in the DDC fantasy baseball playoffs!! :cool1:

could have been better in the pick-em, but i actually thought I did worse before i saw the results.
