What other podcasts do you guys listen to?

I'm particularly interested in hearing what, if anything, the podcast crew is listening to.

I don't listen to any other Disney podcasts, but I listen to several AfterBuzzTV podcasts about my favorite shows (The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Dallas, Once Upon a Time, Falling Skies and more). I also listen to Girls in the Stacks and ABC Book Reviews (literary) as well as Geek Out Loud (pretty self explainitory, lol).

I'm a stay at home mom, so this is what I do while running errands, cleaning, etc. I just wondered because obviously most of the TV ones are off right now and it always seems like shows decide not to put out episodes at the same time. Today is my errand day, and I'm out of new listening material!

I'm not one of the podcasters but I also enjoy listening to the Disney Food Blog podcast. Occasionally I'll listen to "Inside the Magic" and for general travel "Travel with Rick Steves"

I listen to quite a few of the Nerdist Industries podcasts. I also enjoy Doug Loves Movies and Comedy Film Nerds.

Not a podcaster, but I listen to:

This Week in Tech
This week in Radio Tech
This week in Ham Radio
This week in Enterprise Tech
ISO 5571 (Disney Photography Podcast)

I download a few (including Cubcast from the Boy Scouts of America :rotfl2:), but the only Podcast (other than the DIS Unplugged) I listen to regularly is Magical Definition with Jim Hill (and that other guy...sorry not a fan). He covers all aspects of Disney, including a lot of corporate stuff, which I find interesting.

I'm addicted to my Disney Podcasts. To fill the time when I've finished the DisUnplugged(it's my favorite), I listen to WDW Today, MouseChat, Be Our Guest Podcast, Mousetalgia, WDW Radio Show and 3 Moms and the Mouse, to name a few. At least I don't watch a lot of t.v.

I don't listen to other Disney podcasts. I keep meaning to, but never get around to it.

After listening to Teresa & Kathy talk about their trip to Canada, and reading about it here on the DIS, I started listening to Stuff you missed in History' - from howstuffworks.com because I wanted to learn more about the Halifax explosion. Since then I listen to different history podcasts or more podcasts about "stuff" or history.

I like podcasts & audiobooks, though, so I'm always looking for things/stories to listen to. I don't listen to the Tech Guy, because Leo Laporte comes on the radio here on Saturdays so I listen to him then.

OK, my list iscludes:

Wedway Radio
Wedway Now
WDW Today
WDW Radio
DIS Unplugged
Be Our Guest
Those Darn Cats
Of Mouse and Man
Mousechat
Disneybrit
Dis After Dark
Passporter's Moms
Unofficial Guide Disney Dish with Jim Hill
Disney Food Blog (DFB) Podcast
Magical Definition Podcast
Betamouse (Now Defunct )

Do I hear a lot of the same news on these shows, yes of course. I will tell you, just about all of these podcasts have a different angle on what is going on at Disney World and within the company.

I have the Stitcher App on my phone and the latest show appears in my queue when it becomes available. The only drawback is if you get behind in show or, like the DIS Unplugged, multiple shows are released at once...you might miss a show. In that case, I just go to itunes and download.

I mostly listen in the gym while im on the eliptical machine, or when I'm walking the dogs. What can I say, it keeps me entertained. :)

The only disney podcasts I listen to are the DISunplugged and WDW radio (I don't love this one as much but I'm still new at listening to it).

I was also looking for new podcasts and just started listening to How Did This get Made? OMG this is the most hysterical podcast I have ever listened to and can't get enough!! It is about terrible movies. The team of two men and one woman picks a particular movie to watch and then they get together and discuss it - often times with a guest podcaster. It is most certainly NOT child friendly with a bunch of swearing and adult topics. It has a bit of dark humor which is right up my alley but not everyone's alleys.

I just listened to one of their podcasts after they watched a movie called "Birdemic" (Weird Al Yankovic was their guest for this episode). This episode should give you a good idea of their style and will pull you in if you are anything like me!

I didn't realize AJ had a podcast. I'll be adding DFB Podcast to the list. :goodvibes

Its fairly new. The current version is episode 9. Pretty interesting if you love to try all the WDW eateries.

I listen to a bunch, but one of my favs is WDW-Memories, the host has audio of complete Disney attractions - so fun to sit at my desk listening to the audio of Space Ship Earth, Pirates... Etc

I listen to quite a few of the Nerdist Industries podcasts. I also enjoy Doug Loves Movies and Comedy Film Nerds.

Amen to those Christy, I just saw the DLM podcast in NYC with Jon Hamm and everyone. So much fun.

I also listen to Wait Wait Don't tell me, This American Life, and *** with Marc Maron. Oh and Improv 4 Humans with Matt Besser, but that's because i'm starting to do Improv and want to get exposed to more of it.

Hope that helps.

I would have loved to see that show. I missed the DLM taping here in Atlanta a few months ago...but got to see The Nerdist taping when they were in town. So much fun!!

DLM has introduced me to other podcasts like You Made it Weird (Pete Holmes) and The Indoor Kids. It's my gateway podcast...;)

It was a great show. lots of fun.
I like you made it weird, depending on the guest. Sometimes I want to strangle Pete Holmes.

What is The Indoor Kids?

I'm the same with You Made it Weird. Pete is definitely an acquired taste.

The Indoor Kids is a video game podcast with lots of comedy thrown in. The funny thing is that I'm not a real gamer. I don't know half the games they discuss but I really like the hosts. Kumail Nanjiani (sp?) and Emily V. Gordon...Kumail is a comic and he and Emily are married. They are part of the Nerdist podcasts. They also are on the Nerdist YouTube channel. You should check out some of their past video podcasts on YouTube to get a feel for the show...the James Gunn episode is particularly hilarious and disturbing at the same time. Definitely not for little ears!

Besides the DIS Unplugged I enjoy listening to WDW Today, WDWNT, and sometimes WDW Radio Show (Love the interviews with Jim Korkis!)
