TIME FOR THE SINGLE DIGIT DANCE!​

Yes folks; we have reached single digits (yesterday....I was typing this update but then we had to leave the house quickly). I cannot believe we're going to WDW NEXT WEEK! I did manage to get some things crossed off my list. I printed up the letter for Madison to send into her teacher. We're actually leaving on the day of Open House....I have never missed Open House!!! It's the night we get to meet the teacher (who I already know quite well) and sign up for parent/teacher conferences. I hope that her teacher will give her the work she's going to miss, but if not it's no big deal. I also placed our Garden Grocer order today...diapers, milk, juice, etc. Nothing real exciting. I called to reschedule our Barber Shop appt, but I'm still not crazy on the time. I think I'll just cancel it and hope for a walk up. We'll be at MK enough times to keep trying!

Day 4- Friday, September 21st

Today we'll be sleeping in a bit (if possible) and then heading over to DTD. We have an 11:30am ADR at T-Rex and we're very excited to eat here again. I think Cole will really enjoy all the dinosaurs....I'm sure he'll call them all cats. It's his favorite word and he calls everything a cat...even Mickey! I'm sure we'll do some shopping while we're there too. How can you not shop while at DTD?!

The big plan for this day is MNSSHP. So excited! We'll definately get to MK by 4pm...they let us in at 4pm last time so that's what we plan on doing again. Before the party officially starts at 7pm I'm sure we'll hit up some favorite attractions. I'd like to try and eat some dinner before 6pm too....gotta get in line for the 7 Dwarves about an hour before party time! We love Pecos Bill's, Cosmic Ray's, Columbia Harbor House...not too picky when it comes to CS in the MK. I'm sure I'll need a Dole whip that night too! Anyways...one of us will stand in line with Madison while the other one walks around with Cole. He will not like sitting in his stroller for an hour and not moving. That kid is always on the go! Maybe I'll take him on Small World, Winnie the Pooh, etc to kill the time.

As far as MNSSHP goes, we'll have to play it by ear with Cole. We'd really like to see the parade and Hallowishes. We will try to see a Villain Mix N Mingle too....I'm sure Madison will want her picture taken with some different villains than last time (Jafar and Dr. Facilier). We will of course do lots of trick or treating too. I want to visit the dance party in Frontierland too to try and get a pic with Woody and Jessie! I do not think that Cole will last for the whole party so one of us will take him back to the resort when he's ready.

Ok, outfit time!

Just some simple outfits for T-Rex for me and Maddie. I can't decide which shorts to wear with my shirt...khaki or denim?

I don't have Cole's costume yet (my mom is still working on it), so I'll wait to post a pic of Madison's. Here is my attire for the party.

Nothing too exciting. Tony has his Halloween shirt too, but I don't know which shorts he'll wear or anything. He'll just throw shirts and shorts on the bed the day I'm packing.

We still have quite a lot to get done in this next week, but a lot of it will come down to next Monday. Tony will be off from work so he'll run to the bank to get our quarters and pennies and cash for our Mousekeeping envelopes, return our bottles and cans (they are taking over my kitchen), take our old clothes to Goodwill (I feel like I'm always going through our drawers/closets)....I'll be putting him to work! Hopefully he can get all of that dnoe quickly. I'll have to wait for him to get back before I can start packing. If I even try to pack with Cole I'll start pulling my hair out!

I'll also be having him fax in our room requests on Friday before he leaves work. I know a lot of people say they don't read the faxes anymore, but it's always worked for us in the past so I'm sticking with it. I also need to paint my nails and Madison's nails (just toes), charge all of our electronics, leave a note with our neighbors with emergency contact numbers, and Tony will clean the litter boxes (yuck!). I think that's about it for the to do list. I really can't wait to pack...it's one of my favorite things to do!!!! Well, I hate packing for the trip home, but packing before the trip is so much fun!!!

On the shorts: I think denim. I'm no fashionista, but I think they look great with it.
Your to-do list sounds very similar to mine, except I'm cleaning fish tanks instead of litter boxes! I did do more packing last night, so I feel a little less stressed, but there's still so much to do! I don't know how you wait so long to pack--you must be more calm and collected than me!

I had my 5K this morning and I'm pleased to say I came in 2nd in my age group!!!! I even got a cool medal!!! There wasn't a huge turnout but a medal is a medal!!![/COLOR][/SIZE]

oh my word...it's here...single digits!!! Can you even believe it?!!!!!!! I like the denim shorts with that shirt, but the others are cute too and they match her shorts for the day...I think you can't go wrong either way,...but the boldness of the colors stands out better with the denim.
Maybe on Sunday afternoon you could pack a little if you are home while he takes a nap,...or Sunday night....I always try to start a day or two early,...but I know you always do yours closer to time~tony has lots to do this time! LOL!!!

I think you sound very organized - I like the idea of listing things to do by day - I should try that! Whenever I have particularly busy times, I have so much going on in my head, and lots of lists that I can't sleep (see last night, I was awake at 2 a.m. thinking...)
Okay - off to make my daily to do lists!!

Does it drive you nuts that Tony throws his clothes in last minute? Andy does that and it drives me Crazy! I have every outfit planned for me and the boys, have one outfit for all packed in a carry-on (in case luggage gets lost or delayed), and split up the rest in the other bags in case one bag go missing, have everything tucked in all
nice and neat, then he decides on 16 more tshirts and shorts he jut can't live without! Ugh! The ultimate overpacker.

I do not do anything with the litter boxes. I love my cats, but that was one thing I made very clear before we got them....Tony was in charge of them!

I wait until the day before because I have to do it all at once. If I do a little at a time I know I'd forget something! Plus, packing is very exciting for me and it's that last little bit of planning before we leave. Believe me...I'm not calm and collected!!!

Oh Shawna...you know I can't pack until the day before! I love marathon packing like that. It truly does make me happy! I'm sitting here with a smile on my face just thinking about it! I can't wait until next Monday!!!

Single digits feels SO good right now! I seriously cannot sleep lately!

I try to be as organized as possible. Dance starts again tonight, so I have to plan day by day. I think Madison and I will be going to see Finding Nemo 3D on Friday night...perfect way to ramp up even more excitement!

I can't wait for MNSSHP. I've been looking at the new park maps for this year that just came out and not much has changed. I'm happy that the Tomorrowland/Storybook Circus path is open again. I know it was closed last year due to the construction. They added a second path by Splash Mtn that wasn't there in 2010 too.

I feel like I was just celebrating double digits!!!

I really don't like missing Open House, but it's ok. On our last trip we left the morning after Open House and her teacher was just as excited for our trip as we were!

Thanks. I think we were about the 5th family last time and the line moves quickly. They don't do autographs (that would take forever!!!) and we just got a group shot. They also took some close ups of just Madison with Dopey. They are just soo cute!!!

It can make me crazy sometimes, but it's not too bad. He's not an over packer at all which is great. I have never separated our clothes in all of the bags before and I'm notorious for not packing extra clothes in our carry-ons. Now you're making me nervous!!!! I like to watch out the window as they load on the bags....I like to make sure ours make it on the plane! Thankfully, we have direct flights so there is nowhere they can get lost.

The 7 Dwarves used to be over by the old Skyway station in Fantasyland. In 2010 when it rained at the start of our party, they moved them to the Riverboat area to protect them from the rain. I think that they're over by Splash Mtn now?? I'm not 100% sure though. I think All Ears might have more info.

I have a few fellow TA's who got chosen and I keep reading over on the Sept thread about all the DISers getting chosen as well. I was feeling quite left out! I can't wait to go pick out my 4 fastpasses!!!
