August or September?

We will be at DLR for the Labor Day Half Marathon weekend next year.

I am seeing mention of rides being closed for refurb in early September. Would we be better off doing Disney the week before the race? Current plan is 7 nights starting Friday. Should I back the time fame up to 7 nights ending after race weekend?

If rides will be down for refurb, do the end of August. The crowds will be tapering down, and while it won't be as slow as September, it will be manageable.

Before Labor Day it is still high season so crowds will be larger, ride closures will be minimal (only Haunted Manstion in prep for Halloween), park hours will be longer and entertainment will be near or at maximum (daily). After Labor Day crowds will drop significantly, numerous refurbs usually begin (expect 1-4 headliner rides to be down), parks hours and entertainment will reduce on weekdays especially.

Thank you.

Wish I could see the future!

Already having fun planning, already hoping everything is up and running!
