Good Morning All!

I got an iPad as an early anniversary gift. Posting from it now. Hope it works at Beach Club with their wireless :-) my DH's idea for easier travel rather then a lap top and case.

We are getting so excited...not long now till we are posting from The Beach Club!

Hi everyone, we are leaving in a couple of weeks

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list for September.

:cool1:

Joining in...

:welcome:

Are you planning a trip, do you have one booked or do you just want to hang out with the cool kids on this thread?

:goodvibes

I'd love some more pictures of the grab and go options in the Arcade (while Hurricane Hanna's is closed). :)

:welcome:

I don't see you on the Guest list- If you would like to be added, let us know your dates.

:cheer2:

I just started reading through this thread - it is grat thanks! We will be at BC 16 - 20 Sept and see there is a gap for the pool noodles, how could we get on that list?

:welcome:

I have added you to both the Be Our Guest and Noodle Swap lists.

:banana::banana::banana:

I have an upcoming stay at the Yacht Club in a Lagoon View / Pool View. I have never stayed there before. What are my options in this catagory? Should I make a request for a special area to get the best view or are these rooms all pretty much the same?

Thanks

:welcome:

Let us know the dates of your trip if you would like to be added to the Be Our Guest list.

I have never stayed at the Yacht Club either, but as far as I know, the waterview (LV/PV) rooms may be located all throughout the resort, not in a single location.

I'm not sure if requests like "Lagoon View, if possible" or "Prefer view of pool" would be honored. Does anyone know if you can specify the type of water you would like to see?

DH, DS who is 7 and I will be staying at the BCV in a 2 BR January 24 - 30. This will be our first visit to the BC and are very excited! Our firends stay at the YC almost exclusively and have told us for years how wonderful it is to be so close to the BW and Epcot.

Any suggestions on requests for room location or view or anything else you all can share? I really would like a balcony- do all 2BR's have balconys? Are all the 2 BR's in the same area?

Thanks- you all are so awesome!

What a wonderful gift. I hope you have no trouble with internet. :surfweb: We didn't at BCV in Feb/March but it seems to vary so much. Enjoy the anticipation and Happy Anniversary!!!

They have a new (I think) hot breakfast option at the bc marketplace, a scrambled egg platter, with eggs, potato casserole, bacon and a biscuit which makes a nice cs option.

Ooh, this is very exciting. I hope it's not just a temporary thing. Does anyone have a picture of the menu (or the dish itself)? I would love a quick hot breakfast platter option at the Marketplace.

Finally got my photos off the camera and loaded a bunch to Facebook. I think you should be able to view them using this link https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151036656552742.423421.509942741&type=3&l=9fc9c5a7bf

There are some great shots of the noodle family as Family of the Day, The hand off from Pink Girl and the Illuminations Cruise.

Dee I will work on the review of the Illumination Cruise this weekend.

A (if you can't view the photos let me know)

Thank you so much! The link works. I don't have time tonight to go through all of the pictures, but I loved what I saw with a quick scroll.

We arrived this afternoon at the Beach Club and I must say it totally exceeded my expectations. It's just wonderful. We checked in and immediately went to B&C for an early dinner. It was deelish! A big storm came through while we were eating and SAB closed up. It didn't open again for a couple of hours. But we managed to get a bunch of unpacking and organizing done while we waited. and oh boy was it worth the wait. That slide is just awesome. DS and I went down six times. We then floated in the lazy river and played some volleyball. We practically had the entire pool to ourselves. The rain must've scared everyone away.

We are staying in a studio room at BCV. It is so much nicer than I was expecting from the pics I saw online. I'm so pleased! We did pick up the noodle family from Bell Svcs but we decided just to take 2 of the 5. If anyone else is here and want to use the other 3, just ask for Mr and Mrs Noodle at Bell Svcs, they know exactly what you're talking about.

So we are off to Epcot in the morning. I will try and get some pics of the food offerings around here with Hurricane Hanna being closed and all, but am still getting my bearings as to where everything is. This place is huge!

I don't have a menu pic, but I do have a picture of the platter. My dad enjoyed it and ate the lot so it must have been ok. I think the other hot option was a breakfast sandwich, with egg, bacon and may be something else. Sorry if this picture is a bit big, I'm using the photo bucket iPad app and can't find a resize option!

Thank you for the picture! That looks good. Hope they still have it on the menu in November.

Joining in! My father and his wife are coming to visit me November 12-15 and we'll all be staying at BC. I'm so excited!

Thank you so much for sharing your picture! I cropped it, resized it and added it to the Marketplace thread.

Hope that is ok!

Thanks, again!

thanks for adding me to the lists! We are leaving in 1 week! I have a question, we are traveling with another family and would like to have rooms close together - is it hard to get usually?
