It's been confirmed today via the official press release that there will be no Fantillusion or MWW this year :sad2:

There will be a new mini parade several times a day with Father Christmas and eleves along with toys come to life on Main St - Wonder if they will be redecorating the train again :rotfl:

Here's a copy of it in French thanks to dlrpexpress :)

For the moment I haven't found it in English so run it through Google Translate :goodvibes

Sounds a little uninspirational.

The lack of Mickey's Winter Wonderland and Fanti is a big loss to the Christmas season. Even though we have dreams, we've lost a hell of a lot of Christmas magic this year.

Nonetheless, I'm sure everyone going will have a great time! :wizard:

Thanks for sharing this Carrie!

Such a shame there is no Fantillusion or WW though :(

Still very excited about seeing Dreams though!!

There's also a debate going on over on DCP as it doesn't say that there will be the castle lighting ceremony either on there.

There's also no Belle's Village .... I know it didn't seem to be open much last year but when it was you got the chance for a meet and greet and it brightened up that corner :)

Hmmm, was trying to convince my Pirate to go Christmas (it was the IASW overlay that started to sway him) but now there is no Fantillusion or MWW, I'm not interested in going!! They are what make it for me, where the heck is the Christmas magic? Dreams is all year round (I see it next week woo hoo!) but that is not getting a Christmas make over....how rubbish :(

Let's hope that they'll make at least some modifications to Dreams for the holiday season. But the description in the press release is for the standard show, so not many hopes here.

Does anybody else get the feeling they are making Halloween more spectacular and Christmas less so that past years? (judging from the info I'm getting having never been to either yet!)

No not at all :confused3

Halloween hasn't got the MNSSHP this year so nothing for the little ones. The deco remains to be seen. It will hopefully be better than last year but it won't be like 2010 for example due to budget

Christmas still has Father Christmas, the parades, the tree lighting, snow on Main st etc etc

Christmas draws in far more people than Halloween which is not really celebrated in France so more money will be spent on it and there are more things to see and do :goodvibes

Oh no, even less Christmas Magic.... :(

I was hoping we would see Belle's Village this year as we're there over a weekend, it was shut during our visit last year.

Really sad that DH (who didn't come with us last year) will miss out on so much that we saw. :worried:

I'm still looking forward to seeing Dreams though. ::yes::

That is a bit of a let down with no Fantillusion and Mickey's Winter Wonderland this year. I know they are cost cutting but not running Mickey's Winter Wonderland is going a bit too far :confused3

Phew! Not that it affects me can't afford to go again yet!
That was just the impression I was getting glad it's wrong! :-)

Am I being thick why do they need to cut costs?

Dreams costs a huge amount every night and they have so much debt plus what goes back to the US that even with high sales/hotel occupancy and lots of vistors they still don't have any money :(

I feel gutted and I am not even going!:confused3 We were hoping to squeeze in a Halloween or Christmas trip in 2013 - so I really hope they get their acts together by then, because this sounds totally uninspiring!

Am very sad. Not that we were going at Christmas again after last year but I feel sad for those of you who have booked to go at Christmas and now these things that have been standard are taken away.
