Where is the funnel cake? Updated 8/13/13 Finale!!

It was so great to meet you! Can't wait to read more!

I was really nice! Sorry about the slightly stalkerish approach I used, my bad. My DH thought I was nuts. I am just glad you didn't throw any food at me or call for security. :lmao: I will be posting our line up later tonight.

So as you can see, we ate and ate and ate some more. And of course there were many snacks to be bought. For our entire stay, we had 64 snack credits to use and we used them in many new and different ways than we had before. I am proud to say that we didn’t buy a single bottle of water as a snack. We did buy some large sodas for my son, but everything else was edible and we have pictures of just about everything.

I will also be doing a cost analysis of sorts. I kept all our receipts for snacks and meals. I will tell you how much they cost with each post and then at the end tell you if we made out on the deal with partial free and if we would have saved money even if we had paid full price for the dining plan.

My DH has come up with a rating system for this review so we will just swim with it. As I said before, we stayed in AoA in Finding Nemo. So having said that, we will do

5:fish:-that is the height of our liking and would eat this forever and a day.
4:fish:-that is a meal that was very good but just missing something.
3:fish:-that is a meal that I could make at home just a well.
2:fish:-that is a meal even my husband could make better (and he can’t cook more than hamburger helper :stir:)
1:fish:-that is a meal that my cat cooked and wouldn’t even eat.

Up next, what we actually ate at our first Disney Meal…..AHHHH! :cloud9: Disney Food, here we go…..Raglan Road.

So many wonderful ADRs Karla! I'm looking forward to hearing about your Spirit of Aloha meal. I think I've only seen one other review of that dining event.

I will give you a little hint about Teppan Edo. We had just one slightly disappointing moment. As for Spirit of Aloha... you will have to stay tuned for that one!

My cousins used to live in Norristown - on Haws St. Now they're in Audubon though.

I was drawn in by the funnel cake!

And I live in Jeffersonville (which the USPS thinks is Norristown), between Norristown and Audubon.

We tried 7 new restaurants this trip and 4 or 5 must do every trip restaurants. Did the new ones meet our expectations? Did our favorites stay that way? You will have to stay tuned to find out.

Funnel cake, my favorite fair type food, yum! And please don't get me started on the USPS... We probably don't live too far from each other. I actually live right across the street (just about, one house in) from the state hospital. Glad to have you reading along!

Yes, we are few and far between. I was told the world can't handle too many of us! Glad you are along and hope you will get easily caught up after you get back from your trip. Have an awesome time!!!

love the rating system - looking forward to the reviews.

When my DH mentioned it, I thought it works and it's not too hard to remember and it fit our themed room. He came up with the fish and I came up with the descriptions, which he chortled at when I mentioned them. Now here is hoping that before I finish my report that my cats don't become gourmet cooks or I will have to revise the ratings...:lmao:

We were at Ohana the same night as you - what time was your ADR? Ours was at 645. We had great food...a little out of the way of entertainment, though, so that was kind of a bummer!

We had 8pm ADR's and were on the window side at the fire pits of meat! YUM! Love that smell but I won't give that all away right now. Glad to have you along, welcome!
