Crystal Palace & Cinderella's Royal Table on the same day: Lunch or Dinner

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 13 years). I am wondering if I should do CP for lunch and CRT for dinner, or CRT for lunch, and CP for dinner. Please tell me which you think is the best choice, and can you also tell me if one takes less time then the other? If so which one? Please help me with this.

We did these two places in one day several years ago. We actually did CP for breakfast and then a later lunch(2-3 pm)/early dinner at CRT. It worked out well.

We prefer breakfast at both places, so I would suggest breakfast at CP and dinner at CRT, or the other way around, but breakfast for one of them.

I completely agree with PP. I would definitely do breakfast at CP (a pre- park opening breakfast is even better) and dinner at CRT. This would allow you to space the meals out more.

We did the opposite, but not on the same day. Dinner at the CP is special if its after dark and you can watch the castle change colors while eating.

IMHO it's a big mistake to do both CP and CRT in the same day. It's way too much food unless, as a PP suggested, you do a very early breakfast at one and dinner at another.

I think doing both the same day is fine. ideally a breakfast at CP and dinner at CRT is best.

Everybody, I don't want a breakfast, I only want lunch and dinner, because our family doesn't like breakfast food. Please tell me about lunch or dinner.

I only have 1 day at magic kingdom, and I want to do them both. I don't like breakfast food.

Well...first, are you still outside your 180 day reservation window? If not, you might have to take what's available. If you have a choice though...

I would do CRT for lunch and Crystal Palace for dinner because CRT has roughly the same menu for both meals, but I prefer Crystal Palace's dinner menu over the lunch menu. Dinner had a lot more choices on the buffet, at least when I was there.

CRT won't take you long. We has 10:20 bfast ressies because we liked the look of the bfast menu. My lobster and crab crepes were delish! And DH enjoyed his Steak (filet mignon) and Eggs. The quiche was also very good and the Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast was basically a cheesecake LOL. We liked that bfast is All you care to Eat and we ordered multiple dishes. Our waiter was distinctly unhappy about us ordering more dishes though and definitely did NOT encourage us to do so - but I didn't care. After paying 2 TS credits for BREAKFAST - we were going to enjoy ourselves. We lingered, we dithered, we kept ordering more food.....we were OUT OF THERE IN ONE HOUR!!!! :rotfl:

Then that is certainly what you should do. Dinner and lunch are both pre fixe at CRT and I would allow more time in your day spent there for a leisurely dinner. Lunch and Dinner are the same entree, the appetizers and desserts vary from lunch to breakfast.

Since CP is buffet (very similar menu at lunch and dinner) you can spend as long as more than an hour enjoying all the offerings, or fly in and out (once you're seated) as quickly as you'd like.

If you can nab dinner ressies at CRT, go that route.

Complete menus are available at AllEars for you to browse!

Enjoy your day at MK!:flower3:

CP was not the same at lunch and dinner when we ate there. It could have changed. We had far more choices at dinner than at lunch, including carved meats and more sides.
