Who Invited My Mother In Law? A Moderately Deluxe TR All New X 3 & PTR Link 2/3 !!

Just started your TR, and your daughter is adorable! Loved seeing the video of her big surprise! Looking forward to reading more.:)

I just spent the morning reading your TR. Nice job! My DS is 5 as well and would stop playing to look at your pics with me. He thinks your DD is cute.

We were there in March, first week of Flower and Garden, when was your trip (did I miss that in your report)?

Love your updates!!!

Where to start.....

TSMM!!! You have to know I'm pumped to hear your experience at TSMM after eating at H&V! I am sooo hoping we have the same kind of experience!

Seems like y'all were getting a lot done that morning....Little Mermaid show, Art of Animation. That line for the Disney Jr. show can get long quick! Hopefully, we'll be able to hit it at a good time because Reid is already talking about seeing it again this year.

I'm so sorry you couldn't find a frozen concoction or your Cubs vinylmation! :headache: As for a vintage rock tee - have you tried:

http://www.rockabilia.com/

They have all sorts of stuff. When Reid was a baby, I had bought him some onesies from there (like Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc.)

I would have been frustrated too with having to wait for the B&TB show.

Loving all the pics!!!! Great picture of Maddie at DHS...the one with the rose. Ok...I'm wondering....what is a soft open?? I think that's what you said...DHS had a soft open or something like that? Is this new?

I thought this last trip, maybe we would see Disney playhouse JR. didn't realize that jackson was a daredevil, done with "kiddie" stuff, and had enough of disney Jr. stuff at H&V.

I guess one of these days (unless we go with Jeremy ..son #2 and kaylee and mason) I'll just have to do disney Jr. by myself!!!!

I do liove the animation class.. I have done it twice now!!!!

Isn't that the way it goes? You finally have an excuse to check out all of the kid stuff, and the kids aren't interested!

I assume that we won't be so lucky next trip, so I should be able to help you decide if taking the time for Disney Jr. Live is worth it!

I can't wait until Maddie is old enough for the animation class (maybe next trip?). I think that DH and I did it on our honeymoon trip, but I can't remember. :confused3

Oh my goodness your TSM process that morning made me LOL!! That is insane that you still got pushed in the line when you were LITERALLY THE ONLY PEOPLE THERE. This is why I really have no interest in putting up with that ride anymore. Yay for getting to ride 3 times though!! I'm pretty sure my arm would have fallen off at that point!! :rotfl:

Isn't that crazy?!? I couldn't believe that woman, but it was kind of funny too. She must have really wanted to ride. I would totally avoid the madness if we didn't love that ride so much! Our arms were a little tired, but we had a great time.

Maniacal laugh. Maniacal laugh!

You already know me too well...

Take that and shove it! :thumbsup2

:lmao:

Nice! So that's the secret...

It is! Take the picture, and boom! bragging rights.

 Good thing Minnie wasn't around.

:rotfl2:

Disney CM's = :thumbsup2

They are really, really amazing. I'm still blown away by it every time.

Shannon no function caffeine well without.

It's like we've known each other forever...

Boourns to the cm keeping you directly in front of the restaurant! I totally didn't know anything about the soft openings either, haha. Yay for 3 rides on TSMM in the morning, and good thing ya got it in before it got closed down for the day. Boo.

I couldn't believe it when we saw that it was shut down most of the day! How disappointing for people who were making that their only DHS day of a trip.

How cute that Maddie was giving people all the warnings at VOTLM, haha! Adorbs! I've never seen that photopass spot! It's clearly at only certain times of the day...hmm...I'll check it out in...oh wait! 10 DAYS! UGH.

She LOVES VOLM, and takes the rules there very seriously. :rotfl: We'd never seen PP there either, you'll have to report back and let me know if they're there on your trip! I can't believe that it's so close!

I wonder what happened with the B&TB show? Someone get sick and they had to call in an understudy at the last minute? Who knows?! :confused3

:confused3 I was just glad that it started sooner rather than later!

I have been away from the boards for a while so just catching up now.

Great updates as usual!:)

Thanks for taking the time to jump back in! Thanks!

I think you are at least the third person whose reports I follow that decided to do a long update yesterday why I was sitting at a beautiful baseball field on the North side where a bunch of guys have NO clue how to play baseball (granted, they won, but they are still a sorry excuse for a ball club). Hijacking to share a picture of us before the game started:

Cubsgame.jpg

(the cute blond is our oldest son, Andy).

Thanks for sharing the picture Kathy! It's great!

Even when the team is terrible (which is most years) I still love going to the games. Wrigley just makes me happy. :goodvibes

Now on to your update, and it was an awesome one. LOVE that you got to do TSM three times first thing in the morning. I'm hoping we can do it least twice on our half day at the Studios.

I was so excited! We all love that ride, so I wanted to take advantage of such short waits. I would have gotten another FP if Maddie and Bry would have let me. :lmao: I think you should be able to do it. Seems like the October crowds would be similar to the April crowds.

Did you ever find your Cub Vinylmation? If not, do you want me to look when I'm there in two weeks.

That's so awesome of you to offer! I did get it, but not until after the trip. I was buying Maddie some PJs on DisneyStore's website, and found it there. Not quite the same as bringing it home as a souvenir, but I'm glad that I found it. It looks great in my Cubs themed office. ;)

You got some great shots at the Beauty & The Beast Show. And I love the PP's of Maddie in front of the B&B show. I never knew that was there...that is great!

Thanks! We'd never seen PP there either, but Maddie was over the moon about it!

Great TSM planning! Well done. I'm planning on a 3 ride morning on one of our DHS days in the same manner, only no early ressie. The force is strong in me so I will achieve. LOL

Thanks! You can do it! (I'd have typed that more Yoda-like if I was capable of that type of thing)

Boo on mrs. Shovey. Karma, like rhythm is out to get you.

:lmao:

Love Maddie's poses, Kadence thinks the rose is the perfect touch.

I knew Kadence would like that! I hope that she can get some pics like that very soon!

Someone get this woman a frozen coke already! :)

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

:lmao: I really, really wanted a frozen coke.

luvin the updates esp the pics infront of B&B fountain

Thank you! Maddie was really excited to see PP there!

Wow - I clearly logged off too early last night!

Love the Sorcerer Mickey pictures!

And, you know, we all have to give in to our grouchy/pouty side sometimes. In fact, I have been doing so this evening. And now I must stop!

:rotfl2: I may not have had the guts to be honest about my attitude if we hadn't talked about it a week before!

Even though I haven't logged on much to the Dis in the past 3 months, I've done a lot of lurking to keep up with TRs. But every time I tried to start reading yours, I wanted to comment on things from your intro so I'd stop myself and say I'd do it next time I'd log on. You update so much (not a bad thing, except when you're trying to catch up like me :rotfl:) that I'd just say forget it, I'll come back next time. Well, I'm tired of saying "next time", so I'll at least comment on the intro today. And I think I should write all my future comments in a word document every time I lurk so I can post it all at once when I log on. Phew, that was a long winded way of saying, "sorry for staying away so long".

As I was reading your intro of yourself, I couldn't help but realize how alike we are in some ways. I too watch way too much reality tv (Survivor and TAR are my favorites), though I've been trying to cut down these past couple of years. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE puzzles. Both the jigsaw type as well as "logic" puzzles. I'm the queen of puzzles.:wizard: The rest, though, not so much alike. I'm so not type A and not a sports fan at all. :rotfl2: But I do really love WDW, of course. ;)

Maddie looks adorable in that intro picture, as always.

That's it for now. But I promise to be back to read some more. :goodvibes

Thanks so much for checking in Mel! I have been following your TR as well, but I assumed you'd understand if I didn't always comment. :goodvibes

Party pooper! I guess you weren't sufficiently pouty yet or you would've decked him, right?

Right.

Then maybe a left.

:rotfl2:

You're right, that little bunny on the lawn over to the right has no business being there!

Made you look!

*sheepishly* I admit it, I did look.

"Run Bryan! Run!"
"But honey! There's no one else around!"
"I don't care! I can't risk it, now run darn you!"

It's like you were there with us!!

grrrr.... Some people's parents should not have been allowed to procreate. Too bad you didn't step on her foot later.

I tend to accidentally run into people like her. Your way would have been good too.

Not good enough. I want more revenge. No one shoves my friends and gets away with it!

:thumbsup2 I knew you'd have my back Ponz!

Arms getting a little sore by now, I imagine.

They were.

Maddie reaches up with one arm and grabs the collar of Mickey's robe. Using all the leverage she can muster, she flips Mickey end for end and slams him to the ground!

Undaunted, Mickey staggers to his feet, but Maddie has already moved in for the kill. She places Mickey in a choke hold and before you can say "M-I-C-K-E-Y", it's all over! Mickey's out like a light and Maddie is the new champ! :worship:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

We did that on our first visit with the rugrats (DDs 4 & 8 at the time). There were plenty of rides that they weren't able to ride or I knew they were too young to do... they had no idea.)

I'm glad I'm not the only one. If we did everything she wanted, it'd be a mind-numbing vacation. :rotfl2:

That's just criminal. Hey I'm from the Slurpee capitol of the world, so I know what I'm talking about. (Don't believe me? Google it.)

I did! That's awesome! I'm a HUGE fan of beverages in the slurpee family.

Wow. And I mean that. You're right, that level of service is very, very difficult to find outside of Disney.

It's so amazing to me. I'd love to know what system they use to vet potential candidates. Or maybe it's just that great a company to work for? 'Cause even the salesladies at my local Disney Store are WAY friendlier than the ones at your average store.

Ah well. We can't all be parent of the year all the time.

Thanks Ponz. Not my proudest moments for sure.

And those are some pretty awesome pics of Maddie! She's a real cutie patootie, that one. :) Great updates Shanificient! :goodvibes

Thanks Ponzorama!

Yeah you got to ride TSMM 3 times!! That is a great feat. We're lucky to ride it at least twice on our trips to Disneyland.

Awesome! From what I understand the lines for TSMM at DLR aren't nearly as bad as WDW. Is this true?

Loved the pictures of Maddie outside the B&TB show. I really need to get us back to WDW so I can bring my DD to DHS so we can see the show! She'd be in Heaven!!

Love reading your updates!

You MUST! If you have a princess lover like mine, she'd love the show. Maddie refuses to skip it, and would probably see the show several times per trip if we'd let her.

Ok, I read the first four updates.

I loved watching the surprise video. Ron agrees that Maddie is so cute! Just jumping on the bed and throwing the tissue paper away. :cutie:

Thanks guys! I am so glad that we videoed that. It's one of my favorite parts of the trip!

I still believe you are crazy to move AND leave for Disney World in the same weekend! Moving just tires me out and stresses me out. Though I guess WDW is the best place to take the stress away.

:lmao: We weren't crazy-we were INSANE!! Seriously though, it was the perfect way to treat ourselves after all the madness.

We too took separate flights the first time we went to WDW because I booked several months after Ron and his family. We were just a new couple at the time. However unlike you my flight had a layover, so Ron and his family had time to go check in at his parents’ time-share before coming back to pick me up!

All that waiting for ME and then for the internal bus sucks. I would have walked too. What bad timing with the rain though! :( I can’t believe those airline employees would just toss the strollers like that! Well that’s it, you just sealed our decision not to bring our expensive stroller with us, but to rent one instead.

Thanks for the back up! I just couldn't wait any longer.

Don't take your expensive stroller, you never know when it'll be used as a toss toy..

The flowers on Castaway Cay (is that the name of the island? I forgot.) are so pretty. They are just the perfect pink! I agree with Maddie, pink and purple are great colors (but turquoise is even better). :p

Bright pink mayonnaise? Wow, never heard of that! :rotfl:

The resort was soooo pretty. We just loved it there.

The pink mayo was new to me too. But it was tasty!

Ms. Shovey is LAME! Non-lame people always win. ;) THREE TSMM RIDES? That's so amazing. I might have to get an ADR at H&V, eat some food, politely wave at characters, and BOLT out of there before 9 JUST to do this...

She WAS lame.

:rotfl: if you try it, give Jake a hug from Maddie! Seriously though, it worked out great, and as it turns out Mads now considers H&V for breakfast a 'must-do' so we'll probably use that plan of attack again.

I probably would have pouted at BATB too... as much as I love the movie, the show is just not my favorite. At all. (Same for Little Mermaid which is just shocking for me.) Glad you were able to enjoy it though. Maybe.

It's not my fave either. I love the story and the movie, and I think the show is really well done- but I don't like sitting in shows at WDW! I barely have the patience to wait for parades! I would rather keep moving, but my DD sure does love them.

Cinderella danced for Maddie? How awesome is that!! It sure made for some beautiful photos. Loved the great interaction you guys got with her and Belle on that first day. I love how Belle and Aurora got down on the ground to be at Maddie’s height.

Cinderella dancing for her was one of the biggest highlights of the whole trip. It was so,so awesome! The characters get down to her level more often than not, and she loves having the chance to really chat with them when they do.

I love how Maddie was dancing so often that first day. I’m hoping Claudia likes to dance as well. In fact, I love reading this TR because Maddie is exactly how I’d like Claudia to turn out to be, full of life and into princesses and sparkly things. And I’m hoping she gets the same high quality level of interaction from CM and characters as Maddie did on that first day.

That may be one of the sweetest things I've ever heard! Thanks for that!

I'm sure that you'll have an amazing time when your little lady gets into meeting the characters. It seems like they spend as much time as a child wants them to visiting and chatting. It's awesome!

LOL at the pinkie promise for donuts. And LOL at Bryan trying out all the kids’ pizzas for “research purposes.

He's a real trooper isn't he? I'm sure that the TR is much better for him having done that for us.:lmao:

It’s too bad how MIL was not letting you guys have a family pic just the three of you. Maybe I would have tried a subtle way to get it, by getting different combinations of people : ok let’s do just the girls, now just DH and MIL, not mother and daughter, ok now the three of us, ok now just grandma and Maddie, etc.

Ugh, how annoying about your MIL not tipping enough and pretending to be confused.

That's exactly what we should have done. I really wish that I'd been more proactive (in a kind, gracious way of course) on the trip. I think I'd have ended up with much better memories.

It was irritating, but we're so much better informed for next time.

Just started your TR, and your daughter is adorable! Loved seeing the video of her big surprise! Looking forward to reading more.:)

Thanks so much for joining in! I really appreciate it!

I promise to post this week! Maybe twice!

I just spent the morning reading your TR. Nice job! My DS is 5 as well and would stop playing to look at your pics with me. He thinks your DD is cute.

:lmao: That's awesome! Thanks so much for joining in!

We were there in March, first week of Flower and Garden, when was your trip (did I miss that in your report)?

We were there April 21-28. It was a great time to visit!

Love your updates!!!

Where to start.....

TSMM!!! You have to know I'm pumped to hear your experience at TSMM after eating at H&V! I am sooo hoping we have the same kind of experience!

I knew it'd make you happy! I hope that you guys have similar luck, it was great!

Seems like y'all were getting a lot done that morning....Little Mermaid show, Art of Animation. That line for the Disney Jr. show can get long quick! Hopefully, we'll be able to hit it at a good time because Reid is already talking about seeing it again this year.

It didn't feel like we were getting a ton done, but we did in get everything we wanted to by early afternoon.

I feel like we should have taken her since she likely won't be into Disney Jr for long, but we just couldn't handle 3 shows in one morning.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely look into that website! I really think just oneo or two Aerosmith Ts will finish off my collection (I have to divide my Tshirts into categories- Cubs, Illini, sports general, and music. I have too many, but I love them!)

Loving all the pics!!!! Great picture of Maddie at DHS...the one with the rose. Ok...I'm wondering....what is a soft open?? I think that's what you said...DHS had a soft open or something like that? Is this new?

Thanks Heather! She loved that photo spot!

From what I understand, DHS is trying out a different approach to rope drop to alleviate the TSMM Madness. Instead of letting everyone in right at 9 am, they slowly started letting the people who were lined up in at around 8:50.

That way, everyone sort of trickled in at open versus stampeding.
:thumbsup2

Subscribed! First, I think your family might be my family's doppelgänger. My husband reads the Disboards but does it through my screen name, he is the one that found your trip report and stared reading it to me. We bribe our daughter, who's 7, to try new things too. I love Friends, Coyote Ugly & Center stage, my DH has never heard of the last movie. Anyhow, the similarities were making me laugh throughout your TR. I kept telling my DH "OMG, they are just like us". If I had said it one more time he was going to wish he had never found your TR, lol. Thank you for the amazing TR, we love it so far! PS. We were both reading your TR on our iPads, lol.

Three rides on TSM! Way to go! And congrats to your DH on the high score!

Good call on Disney Jr, I know I'll be stuck watching it again this trip, but I'm pretty much over it.

20 mins! Belle needed to get a move on! I'd be grumpy too!

All caught up! I know this is a bit late but nice job handling the comment about writing things on the internet about your MIL. As I have mentioned we live across the street from my MIL and I totally understand! I don't think I would invite my parents or in-laws to Disney ever, it would ruin my magic! I believe I am going to start the longest PTR ever, we are planning to go in 515 days? What do you think? Kids all start school tomorrow so I will have a bit more time and we just bought a laptop on Sunday so now I can type in bed after the kids go to sleep!:cool1:

I wasn't very sure how I felt about the new opening procedures at DHS, but it looks like it worked out very well for you! :thumbsup2 I guess by now though, everyone knows that's how they do it, so I'm sure the crowd has adjusted as well to make sure to thoroughly clog the FP and standby lines. :rotfl:

I can't blame you for feeling a little grumpy. When you have to keep meeting characters and watch shows that you aren't all that interested in, it is bound to catch up with you eventually. I have to say though, if I was given the option of sitting and waiting for a delayed show or going to ride Rockin Rollercoaster, there would have been a trail of flames behind me as I left.:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

TSMM three times!! How awesome! That is one Keith would ride over and over if the wait wasn't always so long. You guys lucked out!

I still have yet to see Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast. I think I better make way for B&TB in October but I feel guilty that Madison may never get to see it! :guilty:

I loved the PP pictures in front of B&TB! So cute! That is the first time i have seen those.

I understand the grumpies all too well!:sad2:

Thanks so much for checking in Mel! I have been following your TR as well, but I assumed you'd understand if I didn't always comment. :goodvibes

Of course I understand. There's only so many times you can say "you're baby is so cute". :lmao:

Wow. I am completely and insanely jealous that you guys were the first riders on TSM! And Mrs. Shovey? Karma does always come back to bite you in the butt, doesn't it? Take that McShovey!

We were dining at 50s Prime Time Café that day. If you’re unfamiliar with the restaurant, it’s a place that looks exactly like your grandma’s house and where you’re treated like family. Literally. Your family (servers) will delight in picking on your bad manners, insist that you eat your vegetables, and check to make sure you’ve washed your hands before the meal. Sounds like fun right? We thought so!

Hidden Mickey on the coffee table

IMG_5014.jpg

We only waited about 10 minutes before we were seated at our Uncle Tony’s kitchen table (we got a TV table too!), and prepared for some comfort food like grandma used to make.

IMG_5015.jpg

IMG_5016.jpg

Directly behind where Maddie and I were sitting

IMG_5019.jpg

Uncle Tony approached and immediately said “So nice to finally see you again. Think you’re too good to visit your Uncle Tony once in a while?” I had told DH about the restaurant’s schtick, and he was eager to play along. He assured Uncle Tony that we were very sorry no to have visited more often, and we’d do better.

We had pretty much decided what we wanted before we left for the trip, so we placed our orders right away. Uncle Tony said that we couldn’t technically get Bryan a milkshake as his drink on the DxDP, but Maddie could get one. Since she wanted a Sprite, Uncle Tony got Bryan his milkshake.

He returned quickly with our appetizers, but refused to put them on the table until we assured him that we’d washed our hands. We said we did, and he immediately asked “what color is the soap?” Bryan guessed pink, and I said blue. Tony chastised Bryan and said to me “I think you’re lying, but your right. I’m keeping my eye on you.”

Bryan ordered the crab cakes. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much left by the time I remembered to take the photo. Bryan thought the crab cakes were just ok, but the milkshake more than made up for the boring crab cakes. He declared it to be ‘outstanding’. (Bryan is not only a connoisseur of pizza and biscuits and gravy, but of vanilla ice cream and milkshakes as well)

You can sort of see the crab cakes in the corner!

IMG_5021.jpg

IMG_5022.jpg

I had the wedge salad, and it was PERFECT. The portion was huge, the bacon was crispy, and the dressing was great. I love a good wedge salad, so I was in heaven.

And apparently I was enjoying it so much that I forgot to take the photo until I'd eaten half

IMG_5023.jpg

Maddie had the fruit as usual. What can I say? She loves the stuff! She was a little unsure about Uncle Tony’s antics, but he made a point of praising her manners and calling her ‘princess’ every time he came to the table.

Throughout the appetizer course, Bryan kept his elbows blatantly on the table in hopes that Uncle Tony would notice and give him the business about it. He thought that Tony wasn’t paying any attention until we heard Uncle Tony at a table near ours talking to a teenager. “At least your manners are slightly better than Elbow’s over there”. He turned to glare at Bryan saying “I know your momma taught you better than that!” Bryan was pleased.

Our entrees arrived shortly. Bryan chose Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken. He thought that it was good, but not the best fried chicken he’s ever had. He’s glad that he got it, but says that next time he’ll try something else.

Even so, this is as close as he'd let me get to the chicken

IMG_5028.jpg

I had Grandma’s Chicken Pot Pie. It was delicious. It was full of large chunks of chicken and perfectly cooked vegetables. I don’t really like a pot pie with a full top and bottom crust so this one with the puff pastry was perfect. I loved it and will most certainly order it again.

Maddie had the mac and cheese. To my knowledge, she didn’t have an opinion on way or another about it. She didn’t eat much of it, but she didn’t say she didn’t like it either.

I'm not sure that I meant for the drink to be the focus of the photo, but in my defense I was still getting used to the idea of photographing our meals

While we enjoyed our meals, most of the tables around us emptied. As Uncle Tony cleared them he loudly grumbled “Oh sure, you guys go off and have fun. I’ll clean up after you!”

As the other guests left, I took the opportunity to photograph the dining room

We needn’t have worried about finishing our vegetables, because by the time we finished our entrees, we were simply too full for dessert. Even Maddie passed up the chance to have ice cream. Uncle Tony was mildly offended that we were ‘too good for his mom’s cooking’, but we held firm.

Over all, we really enjoyed our lunch at 50s Prime Time. The food was good, and to be fair it had gotten really hot that morning so none of us really felt like eating a ton, but we had a LOT of fun. Uncle Tony, much like the Tremaines at 1900 Park Fare, sensed immediately that Maddie wouldn’t enjoy being teased so he just treated her like a princess. I think that 50’s PT would be perfect for any family, but especially those families with older children and teens who would enjoy playing along. It may not become an every trip restaurant for us, but we’ll definitely be back!

Welcome!!!

First of all, I'm a huge fan of the word doppelganger. Second, that's awesome! I'm so relieved to know that someone out there understands me!! :lmao: I have a very serious question though- how do you feel about Empire Records?

Centerstage is one of the finest films of our generation. I am so glad that you understand this. And Friends is my favorite TV show ever. I still watch it all the time.

Love that you're driving your DH crazy with the TR! I read things aloud to my DH so much that I sometimes end up reading him the whole book! (Sh*t My Dad Says, Bossypants, and most of Rick Reilly's old columns in SI)

Thanks again for joining in, and don't be a stranger!

Three rides on TSM! Way to go! And congrats to your DH on the high score!

It was fun to be able to get so many rides in so early, and that's the only way any of us will register the high score so it was a double bonus. :rotfl:

Good call on Disney Jr, I know I'll be stuck watching it again this trip, but I'm pretty much over it.

I just couldn't do it that day. We'd have gone from VOLM to DisneyJr to B&tB. Too much!!!

20 mins! Belle needed to get a move on! I'd be grumpy too!

:lmao: Thanks Marissa!

Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. It was kind of a prickly situation. ;)

Let me know when the PTR starts! It's never too early!

:rotfl:

You're probably right. I'm sure that it's not going nearly as smoothly now. It was great that day though! No standing in line for 20 minutes just to get a FP!

:rotfl2: I wanted to go to RnRC, but it wasn't a real offer. It was one of those "do what you want, I'll be here doing the right thing by our child" offers. The kind that wives usually specialize in. :lmao:

TSMM three times!! How awesome! That is one Keith would ride over and over if the wait wasn't always so long. You guys lucked out!

Me too! I love that ride! It's my favorite non coaster in all of WDW I think, so I was really excited to get so many rides in.

I still have yet to see Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast. I think I better make way for B&TB in October but I feel guilty that Madison may never get to see it! :guilty:

Maybe you and Madison can sneak off to see it while the guys are at Indiana Jones or LMA? It's a really well done show, just not a must do for me like it is for DD. ;)

I loved the PP pictures in front of B&TB! So cute! That is the first time i have seen those.

I understand the grumpies all too well!:sad2:

I was so not proud of myself that day. Had to be honest about it though. :(

Of course I understand. There's only so many times you can say "you're baby is so cute". :lmao:

:rotfl: She is that cute though Mel!!! Absolutely adorable!

Okay I just about died!!! Really choked on my eggs! Love it! She copped a feel!:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Sorry to cause you harm. It was pretty funny though.

Wow. I am completely and insanely jealous that you guys were the first riders on TSM! And Mrs. Shovey? Karma does always come back to bite you in the butt, doesn't it? Take that McShovey!

It was a great morning for TSMM! Ms. Shovey was something special though. NO ONE ELSE IN LINE!!! It was sort of sweet revenge to ride first. ;)

Vanilla? Who gets vanilla milkshakes at PTC when they have the PB&J milkshake which is THE.BEST.THING.ON.EARTH??????????? :rotfl2:

Anywho...Uncle Tony sounds like a hoot! Glad you had a great meal.

Jill in CO

I thought the PBand J shake was way too sweet. (sorry). but we loved the cholate shake and the chocolate malt.
(the malt may have been a tad too sweet,)

nebo and I once split a meal at prime time. we each had 2 pieces of chicken we asked for 2 orders of potatos instead of potatos and greens. (although, next time, I'll get the greens. who, all of a sudden decided that all mashed potatos have to be "red-skinned?" wasnt that way in the 50's. mom peeled her potatos!)

so, we were paying OOP, and shared an appetizer of onion rings, a chicken dinner, and a chocolate shake (which was HUGE!). and we were full. voila!
