I believe we’d already stopped at the Japan Kidcot station earlier in the week. We wandered to the American Adventure but it was getting messy as the Kaki Goris started to melt so we stopped on a bench near the Kidcot station for the kids to eat.

I went into the shop & looked around a bit. After the boys finished eating they joined me & we bought a couple books. I’ll have to look around & see exactly what we bought but Alex really likes this store & things about presidents so I’m guessing they have something to do with that.

After the snacks were eaten, shopping was done & the passports stamped, we continued on & hit the rest of the Kidcot stations that we needed. We also stopped at the caramel shop in Germany. Yum!

We had to sit here & wait forever for some teenage girls to get out of the way. Every time we thought they were done, they kept jumping in for more.

Sorry if the size is weird… apparently the rest of the day didn’t upload when I did it way back when. When I logged into Photobucket today it gave me the option to try the NEW photobucket. Figured I’d give it a try but I think I have to reset my default settings.

It was around 2:30 when we left Epcot & headed back to the resort for a break.

Up next: Our night at MK!

Dang, I missed a mini-update.

We've done Raglan Road twice and enjoy it (not the best meal of our trips, but good food, and fun music).

I'm glad you were able to find a Lego at the Target and made Zach smile.

Bet you thougth I was going to miss this one! You snuck in on me. You may have missed a mini-update, but I just did a mega-update so hopefully you catch that one. :thumbsup2

I would agree about Raglan Road - not the best meal but a really fun restaurant. And we didn't leave hungry. ;)

You are too funny. I was just going to post that we were ninja posting and you probably missed my last response because of your MAJOR update just now. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

What a beautiful day at Epcot. Look at that beautiful sky. I love Epcot...it is just so pretty and you got some wonderful pictures of the flowers, and the boys, etc.

Sorry about all the cheerleaders, but it looks as if you missed some of them as you had a few empty streets there.

I am determined we are getting something at the Caramel shop in Germany this trip.

I feel like I was just at the WS! Thank you for such a lovely tour. I love the new Mater and Lightening topiaries in Japan! For all the teens you mention you did a good job of hiding them in your pictures. So many things you did this morning that I've never done! Ellen, Figment, SOAT and LeCellier. Was the festival center better this year? I was so dissapointed in it in 2011, nothing really any different than what was out at the various kiosks in the WS and not much I wanted at all.

It's funny you say that... I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure why the teenagers aren't all over the pictures! I think they were mostly concentrated around the world showplace pavilion area that day. I have photographic proof the next day!

The festival center was not impressive at all. I totally forgot about this part... I'm not sure I ended up with the pin I was after. I was looking for the AP exclusive pin bit they seemed confused. I didn't have the flyer with me that I'd gotten in the mail (Mickey Monitor I think) so I just bought a F&G pin... Which I love but probably could have found elsewhere.

Thanks for the great tour of Epcot!!!
I wish I was going soon. There's nothing better that Epcot during F&GF!
I totally missed those pandas in China. I thought I got a picture of everything!lol

It was a beautiful day! But in contrast to the cold, wet days we'd had earlier in the week, it was getting very hot!

I love the Caramel shop!! It's a must do for us (me) now!

You snuck in on me while I was doing replies on my phone in the middle school pick up line yesterday!

I really love the Flower & Garden Festival! It seems like the perfect way to end a New England winter!

By the way... looking at your ticker... what are your dates for next spring? And do you know where you are staying yet?

We're thinking of going back to Vistana Resort. :thumbsup2

This is a little embarrassing~ that's my ticker from April. I tried deleting it and it didn't work. If you could help me that would be great!

We won't be going unless I get a job:(. You've probably read a lot about my drama of a summer on Dee's TR and Shelly's.
The principal I had interviewed with said he thought I would hear by this afternoon , but nothing yet. :(

Bummer! I did know about your job search but I thought maybe you'd gone ahead and started planning at trip anyways. :( Sorry you haven't heard anything yet. You still have the para opportunity, right? I know that's not the ideal job but it's a step in the right direction. Most of the paras at our elementary school are certified teachers. It's a tough market out there right now. Have you heard about the Manchester, NH schools? It's been on the news this week that they've had so many cuts that they have middle school classes with over 40 kids in them! :scared1:

Anyways... it should be easy to remove your ticker. Go to user CP, edit signature & just delete the ticker code.

Good luck with your search!! I hope you find something!

I've named this update "Bad DISer" because somehow I don't have very many pictures! After a morning at Epcot and some R&R at the resort we headed out to Magic Kingdom for a few hours. We arrived at MK around 5:45 and needed dinner! It was on the late side for us to be eating dinner & because of that it was a bit more crowded than we are used to. We did our usual… I headed to Pecos Bills to get my taco salad then met up with the rest of the family at Columbia Harbour House.

Our first mission for tonight was to ride Splash Mountain! And it was OPEN!!
bb2607a3.jpg

Then we rode Haunted Mansion & Snow White… without any pictures.

Then we took a spin around on the carousel!

Then Zach was complaining about a belly ache. A trip to the bathroom & rehydration did the trick & he was feeling better in no time.
Up next was Space Mountain!

Then we trekked over to Storybook Circus & rode the Barnstormer again. Unfortunately, that caused us to just miss the train! Even missing the train, I thought I had timed it right. We were heading out of the park at 8:35 which SHOULD have been plenty of time to get down Main Street before the 9:00 parade… but Main Street was closed! We squeezed our way through the crowds & discovered that there was a high school band making its way up the street prior to the parade.

We were back to the TTC & in our car by 9:15.

Up next: Zach's Photo Tour of Day 9 and our last park day! :sad1:

Is that you holding you hat on? I just love Splash!

I love the carousel pictures. The lighting is great and that picture of the castle is lovely.

Great end to your MK day and I can't wait for the photo tour of Day 9.

Love the slow motion fall off the horse and only the two girls in your Splash photo look particularly pleased to be there. :rotfl:

Last day - boo! :(

Thanks Amy!!! Don't know why I wasn't able to think of that! My head hasn't been on all that straight all summer LOL!!!
I'm gonna read your update now :)

Love the picture of the boys holding hands walking to Space.- to cute!!
I miss those days!! Although DS11 will still hold my hand... sometimes especially in Disney (and I don't mean MK :rotfl:)
He got lost once for about 10 min. at HS (felt like an hour):scared1: on our first trip!!! He was almost 4 and didn't want any part of a stroller. Well guess what?? He wanted a stroller the following year LOL.

Wow when you update you really update. :lmao:

That was a fun tour of WS and then MK. I looked for myself but didn't see me. LOL

I do agree about the teens, they were everywhere our last 2 days.

Silly boy!

Bella was sitting beside me when I was reading this. She said, "Him's falling off my horsie." And in the next breath, she said, "I want to watch the castle show." The castle show is her #1 youtube request. She never gets tired of it.

Yours is the first report I have really looked at in a week. It feels so good to be back on the DIS after a crazy week and a half on the homefront. Life is looking pretty normal this morning. The girls are watching Doc McStuffins on Disney Channel, Sophie is asleep, Jill is sitting up in a chair looking normal again.... GOOD STUFF! ::yes::
