Changing our march dates to now go the week of Easter.

The only available studio's are OKW, SSR, WLV, AKV.

Have been during easter before and know it is going to be crowded. That we can't decide where to stay. 2 adults, and 2 kids 8 & 3

OKW - 2 beds and biggest rooms. Stayed in studio once before refurb and wasn't crazy about the room. Room was in bad shape. Sure they are better now though.

SSR - We really liked are past stays are SSR and the congress park section. Didn't feel crowded when we stayed there during easter before. Many pools so should be too crowded. Walk to DTD. Can rent bikes

AKV - Never stayed here. Thougt kids might l ike animals. If parks are crowded thought resort may be unique to hang around.

WLV - Boat ride to MK. Stayed in lodge before but not villa's.

What are everyone's thoughts for best resort during Easter break.

Thanks

Studios in AKV, SSR and VWL are close to the same size and about 20 sq ft smaller than OKW. OKW gives you two queens; all the others have a queen and a pull-out sofa double. The beds are thus better at OKW but the other resorts give you the ability to create more room during the day by making the bed a sofa. Personal choice of ones you mention would be AKV and if studio probably stay in Jambo with a savanna view although either building would be fine. (Jambo has three restaurants including counter service and buffet, the much larger lobby and store, and larger pool with lots of areas to find shade; Kidani has longer pool slide, elaborate kids water play area, ideal under-building parking if you have car but only one, though very good, table-service restaurant). Also, understand that it is not "if parks are crowded." Parks will be extremely crowded particularly because Easter is right at the end of March; that is a double-whammy time; you get all those that usually have their spring break Easter week and all those who always have it late March to early April which is a huge number of schools. In fact it is really only when Easter is last week of March or early April that there is ever a risk during the Easter weeks of a park's closing to new entries because of overcrowding.

We have stayed in studios in all these and we like the sofa bed better because we can fold it up dring the day for more room.

The pool options are the best at SSR with 3 themed pools.
My 8 year old could have cared less about the animals at AKL but we enjoyed out studio at Jumbo house but it is the smallest of all studios. We walked over to pool at Kadani one morning and that was a fun pool but no food there.

We really enjoyed VWL last year and they have Cub Den kids club.

I would do SSR or VWL

We decided on AKV at Kidani. We love SSR and know we would be happy there but figured we give AKV a try. Never stayed there so why not. Only way we'll know if we want to go back is to try it.

Thought the kids would love the pools and get a kick out of the animals. Also thought the rooms looked pretty nice for a studio.

I think you made a great choice! Kidani has a great community room for kids' crafts and other activities, some free & some for reasonable charges.

Remember you can use both pools. Love the kids splash area at Kidani and their CMs and afternoon trivia at the pool (Kidani).

Actually, BLT has the smallest studio of all at WDW. Jambo House are pretty much the same as the others (except for OKW) except maybe the value studio which is three free shorter than the standard or savanna studio and that does make it smaller.
