I just discovered this and am thinking of ordering. I have been faithfully scrapping Disney but I am SOOOO (think years) behind on other scrapping. This looks do-able for me.

Anyone used it? Pros - Cons?

Thanks for your input.

I have not used it, but I LOVE the look of it. If I did not have so much invested in other scrapbooking supplies already, I would definitely give it a try!!!

well, that's what I'm conflicted about. I scrap Disney all the time but I have so many old photos that we've been given and things that are a single photo of an event etc. I was thinking maybe this would work out well for those older photos.

I'm also thinking it might be a great gift for an older woman I know who doesn't scrapbook -- but I think she might like to work on her photos a bit that I know are in shoe boxes...... :)

I'll send StitchIsOurHero over here...she is one of our regulars when she has time to be on..and she loves them.. she has been using them alot over the years...

I do her first version of this which was project 365. Others here have done our own version for project 52 or 12.
It works out really well for getting stuff done quickly. I can stay caught up with 365 by scrapping 1 day a month.

I don't use Becky's stuff. I actually use the Picfolio expandable album from Creative Memories. I can get enough pages in it for a 2 page layout for each week.

I hope to pare down our Disney trips so I can do a picfolio for Disney. But right now we still take to many pics. LOL

Hi! I am completely addicted to the Becky Higgins' pages/method now! Here's my two cents. For years, I diligently scrapped our Disney and our family albums. I loved them, they were exactly what I wanted (and I still love them), but they were time-consuming and the books turned out HUGE. I did the project 365 for a couple of years and I still do the pic-a-day Project Life. After DS was born, I started doing his albums in the traditional way too. One day, he wanted to look at his albums. There were a few of the Becky Higgins Design A pages in there, where I had put a few Disney pics from one of our trips in his annual album. He said, "Momma, I LOVE these!". He likes that he can "see" the pics and one of us can read him the journaling. (He's 4). I finally convinced myself it was "ok" to do all of my pages this way--our trip albums, DS's albums, etc. DH, DS, and I all love them...as do the rest of our family. It is easier, not as cumbersome, I can keep up with it, and they are enjoyable! It has made scrapping, for me, fun again and has refocused me on sharing our memories and stories, where before I had been caught up in embellishing, etc.

Sorry for the two-mile long answer! :)

You can always buy just the page protectors and create your own kit with the supplies you already have.

Thanks guys. I love hearing from all of you.

As everyone, I have a very busy life. I admit I cannot keep up with all our pictures. We take WAY too many (but really, I wouldn't trade the pix for anything) and it stresses me out. When I just saw this a few weeks ago, I thought about it and I have still been thinking about it.

I think I'll just order one complete set and see what I can do. If it goes well, I can keep up.

I do love making the traditional scrapbooks and I tend to make a lot for other people. I've made a lot for us as well but this might (fingers crossed) help me keep up.

Yes, the only place to get them is on Amazon.

I started in Jan with PL. I absolutely LOVE PL!

I started out just doing my own thing, and I do like that, but then I found the the cutest sets of journaling cards and papers thru Simple Stories. I LOVE those! And I have most of those sets. And when the Cherry Edition came available a few weeks ago, I ordered those too.

I think I may have to freeze my spending :-)

one more question -- is the only place you can order these on Amazon?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the albums Becky Higgins sells are made by We R Memory Keepers. You can by the solid color We R Memory Keepers 12x12 (and a smaller size) ablums at AC Moore. I was looking at them the other day. The 12x12 was $29.99 with 40% off last week.

I am a huge PL (project life) fan!!! I do not use any of the PL paper products. Instead I use what I already have. Therefore the only investment for me was the page protectors. Makes scrapbooking easier and faster, plus I can have lots of pull outs for the kids to touch and look at. I am currently working on our 2012 trip from May in this style. I am loving that I can includes so much more memorabilia and have pockets that are the perfect size. When I am done I will be sure to share pictures of it. Also check out www.twopeasinabucket.com for inspiration. They are currently talking about PL Disney stuff over on their message boards.

I got to a point in the past year that I didn't want to scrapbook Disney anymore. All my pages were looking the same and saying the same thing. I've also been doing Project Life for the past 2 years. It finally occured to me that I can use the project life format to scrapbook my trips. It's been great. I'm able to get a lot done in a short amount of time. I use the different styles of page protectors depending on what I'm doing. I've used Disney themed products and non-Disney theme products. I'm loving how it's turning out. It's so much easier and if I just want to fill all the pockets with pictures I can and not feel guilty.

I'm a PL convert, love how easy it is.

Love the PL style and many of the page types. I am using the variety of pages in my books right along with the regular 12x12. If you type in Project Life Disney you will see many examples of people who also scrap their trips that way.

I also use the WRMK 3-ring albums and love them.

I have photos of the homemade type of PL I did a few years ago that I could share if you are interested. It is a slightly different format than the true BH PL and I did it as a Project 365, but you would get the idea. I'll post them later if you would like.............P

Here is an example of my P365 book. This (obviously) is February's cover. I did a different coordinating bunch of pages for each month, trying to coordinate them to the season. Since February is Valentine's day, I did pinks (and greens). I tried HARD to use up paper I already had on hand, but did end up buying some special papers for July (fireworks) and December.
