My girlfriend and I are going to Disney to celebrate our two year anniversary from September 13 - September 17. Although we are AP, we are staying at POFQ with free dining and upgraded to DxDP. This will be our second time on the DxDP (we have also done QSDP and DDP) but the last time was with a 2 year old so it was all about chracter dining so I consider this the real first time on the DxDP. Since we now have TiW, this will likely be our last Dining Plan trip.

We have a combined 24 meal credits (MC) and 16 snacks.

About Us:

I'm a picky and non-adventurous eater. I'm a meat and potatoes girl. I eat very few vegetables and no fish at all (I do eat seafood). Having grown up in the kitchen at my family's restauarant (cuban/spanish food), I am used to restaurant eating. I live in Miami so I will be driving up to Disney. My favorite parks are MK and EP. My favorite meals at WDW so far has been the Steak and Eggs at CRT and the Bread Pudding at Raglan Road.

My girlfriend (SashaFarce) is a senior in college living in Alabama. Although she loves her steaks, she is a much more adventurous and varied eater so her food/reviews will probably be more varied than mine. Her favorite parks are EP and AK. Her favorite meals at WDW are ????? I really need to ask her this.

Our ADRs are as follows. All restaurants are new to us.

9/13 Arrival Day

Dinner - 9:30 pm Boatwright - I'm solo for this dinner as GF's flight arrives after midnight. 1 MC used. Review post 22

9/14 MK Day

Breakfast - we are sleeping in and splitting a QS breakfast at hotel since her flight gets in so late and we have MNSSHP tonight. 1 MC used and probably 1 snack to try the beignets. Review post 27

Lunch - 1:00 pm LTT. The Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake looks soooooo good!!! 2 MC used. Review post 28

Dinner - 7:00 pm CRT. We have had breakfast here, which we LOVE, but never dinner. I wanted a 6:30 reservation to miss less of the party but settled for 7 and may try to check in early. We also get our picture with Cinderella in our costumes (50's girls with poodle skirts). 4 MC used. Review post 30

9/15 EP Day

Breakfast - 10:00 am Kouzzina. Can't wait to try the French Toast and Waffle!! 2 MC used. CANCELLED

Lunch - 2:30 pm Biergarten. We've read good things about this buffet and we are trying to eat in every pavilion at EP so this is another off the list. 2 MC used. Review post 31

Dinner - 8:30 pm Le Cellier. I am looking forward to this restaurant. 4 MC used. Review post 35

9/16 MK/EP Day

Breakfast - 9:05 am Grand Floridian Cafe. Convinient as we now start and end at Grand Floridian this day. 2 MC used. Review post 37

Lunch - 2:50 pm Teppan Edo. I like hibachi dining and since this restaurant does not participate in TiW we thought it was good to do it while we are on the Dining Plan. Additionally, one more country down on our Epcot list [only pending Mexico, UK (we are eating there in December), and China]. 2 MC used. Review post 40

Dinner - 9:30 pm Narcoossee's. This is the anniversary dinner. We discussed which signature to go to and this is the one that appealed most to both of us. 4 MC used. Review post 41

9/17 Early Departure Day

Snacks at hotel food court before leaving to airport at 7:00 am

We are hoping to live review every night but this will depend on Internet connection, tiredness, and how good I get at uploading pics. :lmao:

:scratchin Probably a tossup between the steak + wonton dessert at Yak & Yeti and lunch at Tusker House. Realistically though, my favorite things to consume at WDW are Dole Whip and the orange Grand Marnier/Grey Goose slush in Epcot France. ::yes::

Thank you all for joining. The first review with pics should be up tomorrow night. I'll be dining solo at

Cannot wait to hear about Boatwrights, we are eating there again next month!

Unfortunately, due to some unexpected medical issues, we are having to skip thrill rides so AK/DHS on Sunday are out since that is basically all we ride in those two parks. Therefore, Boma and Rainforest Cafe are out.

We are instead going back to MK in the morning and EP in the afternoon. What will replace Boma and Rainforest....stay tuned we are still deciding.

Right now we are leaning to breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe and late lunch somewhere at Epcot. Since we are dining at Grand Floridian that night we will probably just valet the car there all day and use monorail to go to MK and EP.

So sorry to hear about the medical issues messing with your plans :( I have to say that Breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe is pretty good though. When we've been there its been such a relaxing and yummy way to start the day.

I love eggs Benedict so I'm sure I'll be happy there. We are going to lunch at AKL (Sanaa) during our Christmas trip so I'm ok missing Boma for now.

Sounds Great and Happy Anniversary!

party:

Make sure you have some potato leek soup with pretzel bread and cucumber salad at Biergarten, my favorites! :goodvibes Oh yes and some Bavarian Cheesecake :thumbsup2 Ok now my mouth is watering :lmao:

We are skipping it next trip because we go there pretty much every trip and my DH is forcing me to try something new

Restaurant Changes in RED on first post.

We decided to go ahead and do Grand Floridian for breakfast and Teppan Edo for lunch.

Your review of Boatwrights is the reason that I picked it for my solo meal. It was convenient as we are staying at POFQ but I had enough time to go to any resort. After your review, I decided to just stay in POR for dinner. :thumbsup2

Mmmm...two great choices! :thumbsup2 When do you leave today for WDW? Or are you already there? Anyway, can't wait to hear about your dinner at Boatwright's tonight!

I am actually at work still as I had a closing this morning (I'm an attorney). I am leaving work at 3:30 so I should be at POFQ by 7:30-8:00. I will get settled in, change out of my work clothes, and head over to POR for dinner.
