great update and pics.

The drawings all look really good.

After drawing our own Flynn Rider's I made a rash decision that I wanted to ride Tower of Terror. Years ago, I rode TOT for the first (and only) time and it was horrible! I hated every second of it. But I had recently become the rollercoaster queen, I rode all the crazy rollercoasters at a local amusement park, so I thought I could survive Tower of Terror.

Johnny was the only other person who would ride it, so we went to go get in line. The line said it was only 20 or 30 minutes, but the line was out into the street. We decided not to ride it... maybe that's a good thing lol

Joey wanted to ride Star Tours, so we were off in that direction!

027-1.jpg

It was just a couple minute wait, and we had a good ride!

We met back up with my Dad and Johnny, who sit this ride out, because it was time for our TSM fast passes!

Toy Story Mania is soooo much better than Buzz Lightyear, in my opinion.
On this ride, I actually didn't get the lowest score!

I think I sat with Joey
I was the yellow and he was the green

For lunch, we wanted to eat somewhere that we don't eat at very often
But to get there, we had to go through New York and San Fran!

Joey wasn't too thrilled about eating here, so when he and I went to go find a table upstairs, I let him play on my iPod to cheer him up

Johnny had Cheese Pizza
046-1.jpg

I can't remember who else got what, I'm not even 100% on what I ate
I think my mom and I split a Meatball Sub with Caesar Salad and Pizza Planet Chicken Salad
047-1.jpg

048-1.jpg

And I don't think Joey had anything, because he was in a mood. And my Dad had the other Meatball Sub with Caesar Salad

Don't hold me to this... I need to take better notes lol!

Up Next: Actor and VIPs!

I love that you guys ended up drawing Flynn Rider at the Animation Academy. They all turned out great!

Mmm, those meatball subs from Pizza Planet are really good. Sounds like a great day at DHS!

Great updates!:thumbsup2

So cool that you drew Flynn Rider!

I didn't know that they had meatball subs at Pizza Planet. Yum! I guess it's been awhile since we've been there. We'll have to go back! They look really good.:)

Subbing in great report so far can't wait to read more.

Welcome! And Thank you :-)

We hadn't eaten there in forever before this trip, but it was really good! You defiantly go back :-)

So how is the meatball sub at Pizza Planet? I've only eaten there once, and had the pizza.

After a yummy lunch at Pizza Planet, we were walking by The Backlot Tour and decided to go in line (which, there was no line, they had just let everyone in for the pre-show so we started the next line)
049-1.jpg

After a couple minutes some more people started filling in the space, and the CMs asked for two volunteers to be in the show, who were at least 16 years old. So, my Dad volunteered! So my dad and the other lady who volunteered went through this door to the right and went to get ready for the next show. The rest of us, and the woman's family got to stand in the "VIP section" until the next show. The other family had three little kids, who were all over the place. The CM s kept telling them to stay behind the white line but they didn't listen. They kept going past it and looking around the corner to see what was happening in the show. You could tell the CM was getting annoyed that they wouldn't listen, and the father didn't really do anything to control them. :confused3

Finally, they took us and the other family in first and told us to stand under the third tv from the far end on the first row, since you could see the best there (and couldn't get wet)

As the other people filled in, the CM's kept coming over the loudspeaker telling people to move down, and the people next to us kept looking at us like we should move down... obviously they didn't know we were VIPs

Soon the show started! I took pictures on my parent's camera, Joey video taped it, and my mom tried to take pictures on my iPod (which didn't turn out the best)

Here they come!

It was the best performance of that show we've ever seen, and trust me, we've seen it a lot lol

We let everyone go past us, since we had to wait for my Dad. He joined us and everyone but me *typical* needed to stop and use the restroom before we went through the building filled with props.
070.jpg

We were the second to last family in line- funny how we went from being first to being last! But we had a leisurely stroll through the prop house since the line was moving very fast now. Plus we didn't mind, we had tons of questions to ask my dad about what they told him to do. And to our surprise, he really wasn't wet at all!

Finally we got on board, allll the way in the back

The back lot tour is really cool, it's interesting to see all the props from popular movies.

By now we were worn out, we had done a lot this morning! Now it was time to head back to the hotel and rest up for tonight

One of my favorite sights in the world, a bus stop with no line <3

090.jpg

The boys and I sat down on the ground, luckily in the shade, and relaxed until the bus came. This day was one of the hottest of them all!

Up Next: 3 Kids 1 Park

After a yummy lunch at Pizza Planet, we were walking by The Backlot Tour and decided to go in line

We haven't gone on the Backlot Tour in years. In fact the last time was during the "Year of a Million Dreams." We won pin lanyards and pins in that line during that visit!

As the other people filled in, the CM's kept coming over the loudspeaker telling people to move down, and the people next to us kept looking at us like we should move down... obviously they didn't know we were VIPs

Obviously! ;)

Of course it was! :thumbsup2

Definitely a great sight, especially when you're hot and tired! :)

Great update and pics.

That is great your father got to be in the show.

Great update! I love how your dad got to do that! Imagine JP up there

Haha thanks and same!

That's awesome you won pins in line! Winning anything free in Disney is awesome though, haha :-)

I start school tomorrow, so I decided to get one more good and long update in because once school starts I probably will have to update just on the weekends

July 7th, 2012

We got back to the room and took a short break
091.jpg

Before long the boys and I wanted to go to Magic Kingdom, so we hopped on the monorail while my parents stayed back at the room, sitting on the patio and relaxing. They'd join us in a couple hours

This was the first time us three have been alone in a park, and it was either going to go fabulously or horribly...

Our first stop once we entered...

to get fast passes for Space Mountain!
DSC03063.jpg

Since we were right there, we walked over to TTA
DSC03064.jpg

At the very end of the ride, one of the girls in the cart in front of us about passed out. They stopped the ride and told us to get out and the girl had her head down and people were spraying her and fanning her with the little Disney fans.

What did we want to ride next?
DSC03067.jpg

Of course we love to scream as loud as we can when going down the small hill on POTC

Johnny and Joey were thirsty or hungry or something, so they wanted some frozen lemonade drinks
DSC03077.jpg

We were making our way towards Haunted Mansion and a man with a REALLY strong spanish accent asked Johnny where he had gotten his drink. At first we didn't really know what he said until he pointed at the drink, so I told him it was right down the street.

When we got to Haunted Mansion the boys had hardly made a dent in their drinks. The line was long so I suggested we wait in line and by the time we get to the front they'll be done with their drinks. But the two of them thought it was the worst possible idea anyone could ever think of... I really wanted to ride Haunted Mansion but they just refused to wait in the line (it was 20 minutes long! that's plenty of time to finish a drink) with their drinks. So we stood in the shade across from Haunted Mansion until they finished their drinks, and when they were semi done, Johnny refused to ride Haunted Mansion because now the line was 30 minutes long. Well that's why we should have gotten in line before!

Instead of getting in line, we went towards Fantasyland to see Mickey and hear some music

DSC03080.jpg

By now it was time for our Space Mountain fast passes!
So we left Fantasyland and made our way back to Tomorrowland!

DSC03082.jpg

Now it was Joey's turn to sit in the front seat, so I sat in the second seat like I had last time, and Johnny sat in the third seat. I'm so glad Johnny cooperated..

When we got off SM our parents were waiting in the gift shop, because it was time for dinner!
After contemplating our dinner options, it was decided that we would eat at Pecos Bills, since we never really eat there
