~countdown to april 2013 ~

My 180 day is October 26th - but I haven't thought about where to go properly yet. Where's good?

My 180 day is October 26th - but I haven't thought about where to go properly yet. Where's good?

There are sooooo many wonderful places!!! This is your first time, right???

Some of the restaurants that I would recommend as a must do for a 1st timer are:
1) Cinderella's Royal Table - decent food (not fantastic food) but AWESOME atmosphere...I mean, you're eating in Cinderella's castle!!!
2) O'hana - delicious, delicious all you can eat meat...how can that be wrong? Unless you're a vegetarian... And all in the beautiful surroundings of the Polynesian Resort
3) Le Cellier - this is a personal family favorite - great meal and atmosphere
4) Sci Fi Diner - I never thought I'd be recommending a DHS restaurant to anyone, but the burger here was excellent and the atmosphere was really neat.

My 180 day is October 8,2012.

We want:
Ohana
Teppan Edo
Le Cellier
Garden Grill
Chefs de France
Scifi or 50's Prime Time
Nine Dragons
via Napoli

Hey hey better late than never right???

We're going with a group of 15? I think lol 14-21st.

My parents, 3 brothers and I last went in December of 08. ((LOVE Disney at Christmas))

This time we'll be: ((DEEP breath))
Parents, 47&49
Me 27, DH 31, DS1 2.5, DS2 will turn 1 on 4/25 (celebrating while there)
Brother1 25, GF 25, DS1 3.5, DS2 18months
Brother2 23, GF 23, DD 23months, DS 11 months
Brother3 19

We're staying offsite as my parents have a timeshare. Its nice to have all the space and kitchens and whatnot but I'm really bummed not to be staying onsite.

SOSOSOSO excited. This will be the first visit for all the kids. :hyper:

I'm currently on the ADR planning phase of our trip since I've been unanimously nominated to organize our trip :thumbsup2 I'm pretty sure this will be the hardest part of the planning process since we aren't planning on doing too many of these. I'm thinking: Tusker House. Maybe Crystal Palace?

Changed our plans my husband,me and our 2 year old grandaughter are now going April 17-24, 2013. Reservations for:

Wed 4/17 Ohana dinner-already made
Thurs 4/18 Be Our Guest dinner-already made
Fri 4/19 (15th Anniversary)Boma Dinner-already made
Sat 4/20 Garden Grill Dinner-already made
Sun 4/21 Cape May Dinner plan to make
Mon 4/22 princess breakfast at Akershus and Coral Reef or Whispering Canyon for dinner-plan to make
Tues 4/23 (husband's birthday) Ohana Lilo and Stitch Breakfast, and Crystal Palace for dinner-plan to make.
Still deciding between Pop, A of A Little Mermaid or POR or CBR- just cannot make up my mind I have been trying to choose since May. I am worried about all the water around POR and CBR. Suggestions anyone? or thought on chosen restaurants. Thanks!

Hi! My name is Monica and my daughters (ages 10 & 11) will be staying at POP April 6-14.

I had planned on staying at AoA (we were there in September and loved it) but I couldn't justify the cost of a family suite for just the 3 of us. And we all agreed the Little Mermaid rooms were too far of a walk from the main pool and food court. Sooooooo, I booked POP and couldn't be happier. We've stayed there several times and just love it!

My ADRS include

*Crystal Palace with Pooh and the gang (our tradition)
*Tusker house for breakfast
*50's Prime Time for lunch
*1900 Park Fare for dinner (so excited to meet the Tremaines)

I'm hoping to get Wishes Dessert Party ressies when it opens. And I considered Be our Guest for dinner but decided to try lunch first. My 10 yr old loved T-Rex so we may have to head back there; it really is a fun place.

It's so great to have this thread so we can all share the excitement! :goodvibes

I'm Jenn, and I'm headed down with my husband and boys from April 11-19th. (the little one turns 8 the day before we go)

We're staying at POFQ. Honestly, I'm a little worried the boys won't love it, since we stayed at All Star Sports last time, and they loved it there. This time I wanted a little more space, so a Mod is the only thing I'm insisting on.

Going back and forth on the dining plan. Since my big one is a Disney Adult and a rather picky eater, I know the DDP doesn't make financial sense. Planning on paying OOP, but having a hard time justifying character meals without the plan. Ah, what fun is going to WDW without a little obsessive planning and re-planning?

I've made some ADRs and figured out what parks we want to do each day...now what to do with the remaining 169 days before we leave?

I'm Matt and will be there solo at CSR April 19 - 28! :goofy:

This is my 3rd solo trip and will be the longest. I plan on taking full advantage of relaxing this time and really enjoying the parks to their fullest!

Dh and I will be staying at SOG from April 24-30. Our first time going in April, we usually go to WDW in Nov. Really looking forward to the Flower and Garden Show at Epcot!!

Another April person here! :yay:

I can't wait for that lovely weather.
We (DH and FIL and I) are flying into Miami and taking a week exploring other places and making/driving our way up towards Orlando and spending 2 weeks in a "villa" in Clermont.
My sis, her dh and my nephew (9) are flying down (from PA) to join us for a week so I am very excited as I only get to see them once or twice a year.

It's also a bit of a celebration this trip as my father in law got the "all clear" after having to deal with cancer.

I wish is was April already heh but hopefully the days will fly by now. :cool1:

My husband and I are also going to WDW in April 29th to 13th May we are very excited and can't wait. 2008 was our last visit.

It will be strange for us this time as we are going without the family normally there are 7 or 9 of us kids and grandparents but kids are all grown up now and we hope we will enjoy it as much as we did when we went as a family.

I have booked us into the WL as it looks like a nice hotel with plenty to do and it is close to MK and I got a great deal on this resort at the time of booking.

Look forward to hear all your plans and any tips for couples traveling without kids.

Hope you all have a magical trip ::wave2:

I'm in for April as well :) Myself, My Mother, and my DD8 (she will be turning 9 while we are there). We are booked 4/27 through 5/3 at POP Century :wave2:

SO, I'm new to the Board! Have been a lurker for years! I am a Disney FANATIC!! :) As the rest of y'all are, I know! :) We will be heading down to the World the last week in April and will be staying at CBR!!! We cannot wait!!! "We" are DH, DD (just turned 5) and myself. We made the first 'family' trip with grandparents and all in September, making it our daughter and DH's first trip to Disney (!!!!) and we just cannot wait to return this time just the 3 of us! We stayed at Value Movies last trip and I am excited to share the excitement of CBR to the family this time around!! My first trip to Disney was when I was 5 and we stayed at CBR and I remember that trip so amazingly!

Let our countdown begin!! :)

My husband and kids DD 21 and DS 26 will be staying off site but enjoying the flower and garden show. I can't wait. I will also be celebrating my Birthday in the world.

:cheer2:
