He just seems like an old pervert to me lately. Did you hear what he said to Serena Williams?

I'll take Jimmy Kimmel any day!

I don't think he is as funny as he used to be, he was always a bad interviewer. I really thought he crossed the line when he had Conan on and couldn't stop bashing Jay Leno. So he thought he should have gotten the Tonight show after Carson left............get over it! He's certainly done well so I don't know why there is all the Leno hate.

I seldom watch him anymore. I like Jimmy Fallon & Craig Ferguson.

Out of everyone I like Jay Leno the best, I have never liked Letterman. Although I will watch if there is someone I really like on and want to see them.

I'm soooo happy Jimmy Kimmel is getting bumped up to 11:35. Recently got engaged, now he got the time slot he wanted. It's good to be Jimmy Kimmel.

I honestly don't watch any of them very often. Very hard to stay awake;)
BUT I alway's like Dave Letterman the least. I like jay Leno and I have a big crush on Jimmy Kimmel.

No, he's the funniest man on television, not to mention the best political interviewer.

I saw the Williams interview, but I don't know what you found offensive?

Also, Leno is a desperately unfunny, backstabbing tool and that Conan interview was *hilarious*. The whole conceit of it was that the gag order had run out.

I knew Letterman was scuzy when he cheated on his wife/mother of his child then got applauded by the audience when he tried to apologize. I don't even watch his show so my opinion doesn't matter.

I found it gross when she said "your eyes popped out" and he replied "that's not all" - eewwhhh! And sorry, but I don't think he's funny, never did think he was that good.

I am NOT defending his cheating. I think anyone that cheats is scum but I have to wonder what kind of person would be stupid enough to marry him? He has said for years that he is not marriage material and said repeatedly that someone would have to be crazy to marry him. He was adamant that he would never marry again yet he is now married and it sounds like he wasn't thrilled about it when he described the wedding. He is a womanizer and doesn't try hard to hide that fact. He regularly refers to his wife as "the mother of my child." Again, not defending him but she was an idiot for marrying him. Was she really shocked to find out that he cheated? He has said on national TV that he is a scum when it comes to this type of thing. At least he has always been honest and up front about his (mis)conduct.

Completely disagree with this statement. I think he's a biased hack, so to each his own.

I used to like him. Now he's so smug I can't watch. If I'm up that late, I'll watch Kimmel.

This. Well, partially this, heh.

I don't think she's crazy for marrying him - they'd been together nearly 25 years at the time and she'd wanted to be married like 20 of them, according to him. I presume she had her reasons.

As to what their agreement was or what she allowed/turned a blind eye to/ whatever over that time? :confused3 No one knows what goes on inside a relationship. She chose to be in it, she's certainly no dummy, that's their deal.

But yes, he's a known philanderer. Always has been. He's always been upfront about that he's no saint, has ruined relationships doing this, regrets things, etc. He doesn't blame other people for it, he does it, he owns it. Everyone has their problems, at least he takes responsibility for his.

Even Leno, creep that he is, at the time that came out, said it was silly to criticize Letterman, as he's never presented himself as something he wasn't. I remember he said something like if he'd been in the same situation, people would be right to string him up because he does present himself as the faithful family man but that dave has never, so silly to pretend like he had.

I don't like him, never have. I like Leno, Kimmel and Fallon. I watch Jimmy Kimmel whenever I can. I love Guillermo. ::yes::

Oh, as to how he refers to her - post marriage, he's always referred to her as 'my wife,' even before the scandal.

Prior to that, he would refer to her as the mother of his child a lot - I think just because 'girlfriend' begins to be inadequate at a certain point (like when there are children, heh).

I'm pretty indifferent to him but I have friends who hate him. I don't think he's that great of an interviewer and actors seem a lot more nervous talking to him than they do on all the other late night shows.

Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Fallon are my favorites. I enjoy all of the late night shows for the most part, with the exception of Leno. Can't stand him.

I used to be a big fan, was in the audience many times. Lately, though, I find myself changing the channel. I just don't find him funny anymore. I think he's burnt out.

The only time I ever watch Leterrman anymore is when he has the Indy 500 winner on his show.

I don't watch much late night TV but I love Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kimmel the most.
