Hello All!!!

This is my first Pre-TR, and after I am done with my cruise will also be my first TR!!! So here goes nothing! If I get anything wrong, I’m very sorry, but I know I’ll get the hang of it!

I’ll start out by introducing myself and my mom who will be on this trip with myself. I’ll also introduce my Fur-babies who I will sadly be missing for TWO WEEKS!

Me: DD: HAZAA! My name is Lesley, and I was born in Texas but lived in Alaska for most of my life. I now live on the East Coast with my mother, I graduated from Culinary/Baking school about 2 months ago. So I therefore am a Baker! YAY! Feel free to ask me any sorts of baking/cooking questions you wish! I am now looking for a job (I am very specific about a job as I have recently started having major Anxiety issues) and planning our Cruise!!!

Mom: DM: Diane is what she’s called. :-D She is a Military Brat and has been all over the world. She has some medical issues which is why I live with her. There are some things she can’t do that I do for her. It works out well and we are very good friends. We plan on opening a Bed and Breakfast in Alaska in 5 years. You should come. It will be EPIC.

FURBABIES!: Jackson and Lexxie. Lexxie is the girl and she’s the oldest and then Jackson is the boy. They are both adorable and annoying at the same time. Its truly like I am a mother. We had to have Jacksons tail removed because he thought it was attacking him and therefore he attacked it. So yeah…these are the furbabies who make me crazy but I love them. We’ll have to board them while we’re gone and believe me…I’m sure the Vets office will be both sad and happy. They love Jackson and do not enjoy Lexxie as she can be a bit of a pill. But if you find a boy for her to love she gets all purry and wonderful.

So that’s us in a tiny nutshell.

Shall I tell you where we’re going? To Hawaii!!!! HAZAA!!!! I am so excited. So is my mother. This is our fourth cruise on Disney (we only take Disney) and it will be for my mothers b-day and my graduation. So a celebration at its best! We have always wanted to go to Hawaii but never knew where to start, when we found out about this cruise we jumped on the idea.

Its two weeks long with EIGHT DAYS AT SEA! Yes, we LOVE sea days. We are SO excited. We’re also hoping there is some sort of Halloween party.

I’ll stop there for now and continue tomorrow!

Lesley! I had no idea that you had graduated from culinary school so recently. CONGRATS!!! That is a huge accomplishment. And I will admit I am a little jealous - I never had something I was driven to do when I was young, so I became a lawyer like every other young person who knows they have to go to grad school but doesn't know what to do. Anyway, if I were doing it all over now, I would go to culinary school, so bravo to you!

Graduation is HUGE - you should make a BIG deal about it on the cruise!

Finding the right job is a challenge, but you will find it. I can't wait for your food pics! I am going to be very jealous what with my stupid gluten-intolerance and your baking abilities.

Thank you! For the bday and congrats! I'll tell my mom, I think I'm more excited about her having a bday on the cruise then she is!!! I emailed our family and said "Buy her a day at the Rainforest room!" Thats one of her favorite places, and if they each do that she'll be covered for the whole two weeks!

Sorry I haven’t posted, its been a bit crazy! Plus I didn’t know what else to fill up the PTR with! But some fun things have been happening!!!

1. I found out that there MAY be a Halloween Party on our Cruise! Maybe…we’re not sure. Apparently the Magic is getting one on a cruise that heads out on the 20th of October…so we think it would only be fair that we get one *we being the rest of my awesome DISers!*

2. The way I found out we MAY have a Halloween Party is because I sent out an email to family telling them about our cruise and that they should each buy her a day at the Rainforest room so she can go every day. But when I was looking at the gifts you can buy for the staterooms they now have Halloween products! HAZAA!!!!

3. EVERYONE is getting their stateroom numbers. Sadly we have not gotten ours yet. We’re a Cat 11B, GTY. My mom and I are almost never in our room so we always like to get the indoor cabins so we can have more money for fun things!!! But I want our cabin number!!!

We’ve been working on our FE gifts!!! They are EPIC!!! This picture gives you an idea…it’s the fabric for the gifts. And I’ll be making our FE hanger. I found The Avengers fabric!!! SO awesome! *I am a nerdy/geek at heart and LOVE that movie* and then Tinkerbelle will be on the FE hanger as well! Hazaa!!!

This week I’ll be going to JoAnn’s to get a lamenter *half off!!!* so I can start working on making our magnets. I’ll let you in on a little secret. Our door magnets will be changing EVERY DAY! Yup. Each day will have its own “theme”, of course we’ll keep a few constants. PLUS I’ll be doing a quote of the day.

SO fellow Hawaii Cruisers, you’ll have to come down every day and see our door and how it changes! I’ll be taking pictures every day as well.

We are 2043…which apparently is still a Cat 11C, but when I looked on the picture of that number it says its Cat 10C…so I don’t really know what to think.

Anyone know?

But its about 2 rooms away from the middle elevators, which will be GREAT for my mom and her legs. So I am SO excited that even if it IS 11C we got SOME Pixie Dust for a room close to the elevators.

It feels even MORE real now!!!

Hi! I am joining in. You got a 10B...Split bath! On the DCL website it will list your booked cat. so the 11C will stay there even if you were upgraded to the Walt Disney Suite! LOL

Update!!! I am SO excited now that I may just be doing random updates every day…maybe even TWICE a day. If you haven’t noticed I tend to get overly excited about things!!!

I started packing lists and reminder lists yesterday. These are some of the lists:
What to Pack!!!

Things to ask for on the ship!! *a bday pin for my mom!!!*

Things to find!! *I went to Italy last December for a 2 week Food internship! It was amazing! But I need to find my passport. I actually have some amazing pictures and a few awesome stories if you want to hear them!! I’ll tell them if you want me to! Just let me know in the comments!*

Things to do!! *Like sadly calling to set up boarding times for my cats. I don’t want to board them! Can they come with!?

Those are my only lists for now. And this morning I checked online and our new tiny laptop will be here tomorrow! HAPPY KERMIE DANCE!!!!

Just wanted to say "Hi"!
Your enthusiasm is totally catching! Hawaii and Alaska (and transatlantic, and Med...) are on my "dream list" - maybe one day!
I missed my fur babies SO much while we were away. The only thing good about coming home was knowing that I don't need to leave them again for a good year. We leave them home with a rotation of friends/family who come every day to feed and pet them - but no one can explain to them where their REAL family has disappeared to! That's what kills me . Anyway, have a great time and we'll be waiting to hear how it was!

BTW - we were in room 2143 on the Magic - it is a 10C. We LOVED having just that bit of extra space and the split bathroom! Congrats on the upgrade!

I really want to do the Panama Cruise, that would be AWESOME! And we want to try out the new ships. Only the Fantasy though because I need to see Pepe's door!! He's one of my favorite muppets!!!

I am really NOT looking forward to boarding them. Jackson the boy cat will do fine, the people LOVE him at the vets office. But the people are not so fond of Lexxie. She can be really mean (she apparently hisses and screeches at them and throws herself at the cage door.), she calms down after about 3 days and there are only 2 men that she allows to pet and feed her. Its so random.
