It's a Stroller Sir, not a Battering Ram!!! NEW PTR LINK POSTED

-I will have to try it then :)
-Your welcome Shanleigh! I love when you find great deals like that! I went to the mall with my mom last Saturday and I ended up finding two shirts and a ring at Macy's for $15!

-I love the theming of Tren-D too :) I want some of those chandeliers in my room!
-Oh the "So sad it's too big" look! I see that ALL the time!
-That looked like so much fun! It's crazy how far you can see!

Those chandeliers sure are something! I was amazed that on the one side we could actually see the tower at MCO....it was pretty cool!

I've made a vow to finally come out of lurking on the Dis, so hi! I have absolutely loved this TR. I adore how close you and your daughter are. And your heart just shines through, how you're always willing to help others. :thumbsup2

I'm definitely sticking around on this one!

Yay....love that you decided to come out and say hello! Thank you so much....we are very lucky to have the relationship that we do! Glad you'll be here for the rest of this TR!

Your relaxing day starts up at the bus stop at 8am. Ok.

I thought that was pretty good...I'm usually up at 5am:lmao:

We stayed there last trip and it was nice being able to walk to MK.

Jealous!!!

You look so happy!

Oh I was...pure :cloud9:

I think Nilla called dibs on taking pictures of half eaten food. It looks delicious though!

Oh it was! I still can't figure out what happened to my brain on this trip...usually I'm pretty good at remembering the important things at least!:rolleyes1

Very pretty!

Thanks;)

I got one of those after talking to the cast members there too!

She has wore that piece more than any others...I told her it's another reason to book another trip!

I have no words. Why didn't they get a cab? LOL

:confused3

Oh man! I'm so jealous! Where are the photos?

Once again, brain not working, didn't even think to bring it with us

Yes.

Aww. Sounds like fun times in Winnipeg.

Absolutely, great day!

So cool.

Scary! It's a good thing there was someone there with a level head to get things done.

That young lady was very lucky that he just happened to be right there! I guess it goes back to that old saying "right place right time"

I'm curious. What do you love about it? We've only just walked around a bit there because of the DVC office.

I love the brightness of the rooms! I loved that we were steps away from the pool to one side and the bus on the other! I loved that we could take the boat to DTD! It was just so bright and cheery....going from SSR to AKL was a bit of a shock because AKL rooms are quite dark and I like bright bright bright!!! The more light the better!

:lmao:

Very cool. Not sure how I'd do on that since I'm scared of heights but usually only if I'm somewhere open, like a mountain or a high balcony.

My sister is afraid of heights and I don't think there is anyway I would have gotten her up there!

Great views!

Great updates and photos, Queen!

Thank you:goodvibes

What a great morning in DTD!!!
Makes me want to go back!!

Debbie

Me too! Not for a while tho for us:scared1:

Love the picture with your pressed pot coffee, what a great way to start the day!

A quiet DTD sounds dangerous for the wallet -my girls are going to have to learn the art of window shopping if we are going to enjoy ourselves there :)

Amazing pics from the balloon, so cool that you had a private flight!

I wish I could start my day off that was everyday:thumbsup2

It is true, we both ended up spending more than we would have had we gone in the evening!

Thanks, I am thrilled we got to do it before they took it away!

She's beautiful!!GASP!!!The tarzan butterfly,i love that movie!!
my 9 yr old would flip her lid if she saw that Lotso topiary.
Oh grey goose slushie how I long for the days when we will be re-united!!OMG you are dating jack sparrow too? UGH such a 2 timer LOL
So glad you asked about that ariel bag I was wondering too.
Is there ever a time when it's too early for creme brulee??? hmmm .
Shanleigh has the cutest outfits ever!!!
H2O is the best i agree,I just wish WDW still carried the milk body lotion(so awesome):wave2:

Shanleigh loved the Lotso too....she was running around taking pictures of everythign in there!

GGS are simply the best drink on property IMO...oh to be there now;)

Didn't know my boyfriend was a two-timer....:lmao:

It's never too early for a creme brulee or a GGS...:rolleyes1

She does enjoy spending her extra money on clothes...she said thank you!! I think she may go into withdrawal once she starts school again and the big pay cheques aren't rolling in:rolleyes1

I just love the body butter, it's my favourite of the entire line! I couldn't find it anywhere down there:sad2:

How lucky you are to get a private flight and that view really is amazing. I am so sorry to hear they took the balloon out of service because of an "incident". It's been on my bucket list for awhile and now I'm sorry I didn't do it in June.

Woo hoo for major shopping. Nothing wrong with that! :cool1:

I know I would feel the same way if we hadn't jumped at the chance on this trip!

Nothing at all...retail therapy does a body good!:lmao:

I have only done DTD at night, but after seeing these pictures I may have to consider a morning. I don't know if I would ever do the balloon so you get my respect there. Looks like you had a wonderful time so far, but still waiting for the reason for the title.

We look so forward to our morning of shopping now on every trip! It's one of the first days that we plan!

The reason for the title is still a couple of posts away but stay tuned!

Hi Queen! Sorry I'm a little late joining. Your trip looks great so far.

Via Napoli is on our list for our Thanksgiving trip in November.

I've wanted to ride the hot air balloon. Never got the chance and now they have removed it. Didn't hear if they brought it back or not yet.

I will try my best to keep up better. Our summer was crazy.

Jaime

Hi Jaime!

I think you'll love it, can't wait to hear tho!

My sister and her family just returned from the World and the balloon is still gone:sad2:

I hear ya, we've been a little busier than I would like this summer too! Glad you found us and that you'll be following along!

Hey Queen (cause you'll always be "Queen" to me) and Shanleigh!:wave2:

I've been away from the boards forever, but fortunately for me, this was the 1st TR I picked up. So happy to hear all about your latest trip!:goodvibes Thanks to the links, I caught up relatively quick.

Merida looks stunning! That was the 1st photo I have seen of her. And I love that D&B bag as well, but like you, for $210 I wld have tried to keep walking.:rotfl:

Great that you met some new Disfriends this trip, and sounds like you are hitting some of my favourite restaurants on this trip.

The balloon ride sounded (and looked) spectacular. That's still something I haven't crossed off the list.

Looking forward to hearing the rest!:)

I'm back and getting caught up. I missed everyone. *sob*

Gah, missing opening ceremony by minutes is so frustrating! And that is totally the story of my life! :lmao:

Shan's face is hilarious! That is totally the "really?!" face.

Good way to cool off, riding Splash. You're right, May is great. It's hot, but not completely humid like the rest of the summer.

The Peoplemover is the best ride EVER!

Merida is so adorable! I love that they have her "brothers" there. They were seriously one of the best parts in the movie.

The chocolate wave........*drooooolllllllll*.....whoops, sorry. :lmao:

Yay, DISmeet. They're the best!!! I live vicariously through everyone else, since I've only had one. Hahaha.

Mmmm, I am so looking forward to my Via Napoli reservation in November.

Oooh, pressed pot coffee. So so so yummy.

I love H2O also! we buy it at Ulta all the time (that's the easiest place for me to get it here).

Wow, that's crazy what happened at TrenD! But you're right, that's exactly the kind of person you would want in a situation like that.

Poor thing, a medium being too big. :lmao:

I'm not kdding, every time I've gone Downtown with the intent of riding Character's in Flight, it's too windy and it's closed. I hate that!

This update will be short and sweet and end off another day in the World! I promise the next one will include more...I was a little forgetful about the camera again:sad2:

After a wonderful morning and early afternoon at DTD we decided to head back for our daily rest by the pool...again, no pics! I promise I did take pictures by the pool....one day:rolleyes:

Our original plan had been to spend the entire afternoon by the pool and then a relaxing evening in our room....but someone decided to get a design painted on their new pair of Toms and they weren't ready before we left so off we went....back to DTD!
330.jpg

We stopped at Goofy's first but decided there really wasn't anything there either of us wanted so we moved along!
332.jpg

To where you ask? Why our favourite spot for counter service in all the World....WPE!!!! I decided to try the famous chinois salad and it is now my new favourite there! It was so delicious...not short on calories I'm sure, but delicious none the same!
333.jpg

Last year when we went to WPC my sister had ordered the four cheese pesto pizza and raved about it for months after so Shanleigh decided she had to try it and now no other pizza compares:sad2: She loved it and ate most of it which again, unheard of!!!
335.jpg

My girl waiting for our dinner!
336.jpg
After dinner we headed over to pick up her Tom's and of course at this point I remember, take out the camera!
337.jpg

Outside Planet Hollywood!
338.jpg

We wandered all the way down and someone (not me in case you were wondering) spotted the Haagen-Dazs shop...so we stopped! Now, for those of you who followed us when Jeff was along remembers his fear of birds...well, actually all things that fly...and sting:rotfl2: Anyhoodle, the birds around this place were awful and you could see why...the people all around us were feeding them and they were bold!! Jasmine was not at all relaxed and in fact, neither of us finished our treat it was that bad!! Why don't people follow the rules!

We decided it was such a beautiful evening that we would walk back to the Marketplace and catch our bus there! Another wonderful end to another wonderful day!

Hey Queen (cause you'll always be "Queen" to me) and Shanleigh!:wave2:
I have been thinking about you .... so happy to see you again!
I've been away from the boards forever, but fortunately for me, this was the 1st TR I picked up. So happy to hear all about your latest trip!:goodvibes Thanks to the links, I caught up relatively quick.
I have missed you and wondered what you guys have been up to this summer...and when the next trip is!!!
Merida looks stunning! That was the 1st photo I have seen of her. And I love that D&B bag as well, but like you, for $210 I wld have tried to keep walking.:rotfl:
She was gorgeous! My cousin's wife bought "my" purse....at least someone gets to enjoy it:lmao:
Great that you met some new Disfriends this trip, and sounds like you are hitting some of my favourite restaurants on this trip.

It was really nice meeting up with them and we certainly had our fill of good food and drink this trip!
The balloon ride sounded (and looked) spectacular. That's still something I haven't crossed off the list.

Looking forward to hearing the rest!:)

I am so happy that we did it this trip...I know I would have felt a little cheated if we never did it!

So happy that you're back!

Staples - the most wonderful time of the year!

You got that right:thumbsup2

I'm back and getting caught up. I missed everyone. *sob*

Yay....missed you too!!!
Gah, missing opening ceremony by minutes is so frustrating! And that is totally the story of my life! :lmao:

You and me both!
Shan's face is hilarious! That is totally the "really?!" face.

I know, gotta love it:thumbsup2

Good way to cool off, riding Splash. You're right, May is great. It's hot, but not completely humid like the rest of the summer.

I loved May and would go back in a heartbeat at the same time if everyone could go at that time, but my nieces are still in school so I doubt we'll ever do that time of year with them
The Peoplemover is the best ride EVER!

:thumbsup2
Merida is so adorable! I love that they have her "brothers" there. They were seriously one of the best parts in the movie.

I was so happy we stumbled upon her! I love how they pose for the pictures too, they were adorable!
The chocolate wave........*drooooolllllllll*.....whoops, sorry. :lmao:

You sound just like Shanleigh...I really must get it again next trip, it's been awhile since I've ordered it!
Yay, DISmeet. They're the best!!! I live vicariously through everyone else, since I've only had one. Hahaha.

I agree and it was a good one!
Mmmm, I am so looking forward to my Via Napoli reservation in November.
Yeah...never mind the food, the eye candy is pretty nice as well:scratchin
Oooh, pressed pot coffee. So so so yummy.

One of the hidden treasures in the world!

I love H2O also! we buy it at Ulta all the time (that's the easiest place for me to get it here).

We took a weekend trip to the states on our long weekend in May and I bought this spray oil at Ulta (we don't have Ulta here) and I love it! It's on my "what I buy everytime I go to the states list" now!

Wow, that's crazy what happened at TrenD! But you're right, that's exactly the kind of person you would want in a situation like that.

I know...so calm, cool and collected!
Poor thing, a medium being too big. :lmao:

Pity, I know, I feel so bad for her:guilty:
I'm not kdding, every time I've gone Downtown with the intent of riding Character's in Flight, it's too windy and it's closed. I hate that!

It was like it was meant to be for us this trip and now I'm so glad I sucked it up (the price I thought was a little steep) and did it!!!

Wonderful evening to a relaxing day. :goodvibes I've never been to WPE before, but everyone raves about it, and that pizza looks really delicious.

Ugh, feeding the birds is always a mistake. :sad2: Here at home, I always dread when vacationing families feed the seagulls at the beach. they have no idea that they'll begin attacking you! Can definitely see how that would make you wanna hurry up and leave.

I am so with you on the pool time. I had such wonderful weather in June and enjoyed the pool every afternoon. It was delightful. :thumbsup2

We tried WPE this trip and it was delicious. Both the salad and the cheese pesto pizza sound amazing. I love pesto, so that sounds like its right up my alley! :thumbsup2

Great end to another great day.

Sounds like a really great day! WPE always looks so good, we'll really have to make a point to get there one of these days!

For some reason, Disney birds really seem to bring out the worst in people. They'll sit right next to one of the signs saying not to feed them--feeding them!! So annoying.

Looking forward to more!:thumbsup2

okay so um I'm not gonna lie I might've had to google what Toms were,Do you have a pic to see after they are done?

What is it with these girls and their Tom's? Caitlin has to get a pair at Curl each trip and is already deciding which to buy next month. :rotfl: What did she get painted on them? Caitlin wanted the Red Wings logo but the artists were too backed up.

Your dinners look so good! You know we love WPE too :)

Sounds like a great evening!

I have to tell you...last night, Brandon and I were talking about our DTD night. He was complaining because he doesn't want to eat at RFC again (neither do I), and I was trying to persuade him that there are lots of good places to eat. I told him we should eat at WPE because who couldn't like a place by Wolfgang Puck!?!
And then he said, "I know that name...but I have no idea who he is...":rolleyes2
So I told him that he invented the chinois salad! Still, I get this: :confused3.
So then I told him I really just wanted a good pizza, and could he just back me up on this one!?:rotfl: We're probably going there now, if the kids don't insist on some other random place. WIN!

Do you have a picture of the Toms? I didn't know someone there would paint them for you! How does that happen, exactly? Do you have to purchase the Toms from a certain store or what? I'm so interested in doing this, maybe for my kids! (Okay, or maybe for me;))

This update will be short and sweet and end off another day in the World! I promise the next one will include more...I was a little forgetful about the camera again:sad2:

That's okay. Any update is a good update! :)

After a wonderful morning and early afternoon at DTD we decided to head back for our daily rest by the pool...again, no pics! I promise I did take pictures by the pool....one day:rolleyes:

s_waiting_4.gif

Our original plan had been to spend the entire afternoon by the pool and then a relaxing evening in our room....but someone decided to get a design painted on their new pair of Toms and they weren't ready before we left so off we went....back to DTD!

I know! I know what Toms are! But the real question is... why, when she said she needs a design on her shoes and wanted to go back to DTD, didn't you say, "Okay, bye! Have fun!"

She's 19.

Admit it. The thought of her going without you to DTD made you realize you were ready for more fun.

Right?

Right.

To where you ask? Why our favourite spot for counter service in all the World....WPE!!!!

I knew it! :rotfl:

I decided to try the famous chinois salad and it is now my new favourite there! It was so delicious...not short on calories I'm sure, but delicious none the same!

I have to come clean here. I've never been to WPE. Maybe some day...

What makes it worse is our first on-sight stay was POR so it was just a boat ride away. :sad2:

Last year when we went to WPC my sister had ordered the four cheese pesto pizza and raved about it for months after so Shanleigh decided she had to try it and now no other pizza compares:sad2: She loved it and ate most of it which again, unheard of!!!

Great, now I don't know if I should serve you teppanyaki or my home made pizza. Did you know Ruby has told me not once, but twice that she wants you guys over for dinner? Hmmm..... maybe around our birthdays???

:thumbsup2 Absolutely beautiful shot. And I don't say that lightly.

After dinner we headed over to pick up her Tom's and of course at this point I remember, take out the camera!

Oh, yeah! That bulky uncomfortable thing hanging around my neck... :rolleyes1:

We wandered all the way down and someone (not me in case you were wondering) spotted the Haagen-Dazs shop...so we stopped!

I think it's a rule that you have to stop.

Okay, it's my rule... but still.

Now, for those of you who followed us when Jeff was along remembers his fear of birds...well, actually all things that fly...and sting

Really? I had no idea.

Jasmine was not at all relaxed

Who? :confused3:rotfl:

and in fact, neither of us finished our treat it was that bad!! Why don't people follow the rules!

Wow! It'd have to be really bad to force me to walk away from ice cream.

We decided it was such a beautiful evening that we would walk back to the Marketplace and catch our bus there! Another wonderful end to another wonderful day!

And another wonderful update. Thanks, Jacquie! :goodvibes

Mmmmm that pizza from WPE looks awesome! So does your Haagen-Dazs treat for that matter, too bad about the birds being so bold though. :(

Yay more pool time! I didn't know you could get designs painted on Toms, how cute! I bought a pair, and they are really comfy, but I don't see how people can walk around Disney all day in them! :upsidedow

Yum WPE looks so good...I really have to go there! :thumbsup2
