I have never seen these before but I'm pretty sure I need to own one.
I just wanted to tell you that I looked up your blog. Wow, you have put a lot into it. I started to read, clicked on another site, came back read some more, and around and around I went.
Anyways, I enjoyed it very much, and appreciate all the other sites and info you have listed.

Great site! :thumbsup2

Lisa I totally know what you mean about the family drama but I just try to stay out of it LOL. Hope yours goes away quick ;)

I saw the new Lesportsac bags but I still like the first ones better (Tahiti). These are cute but I like my design better. Hoping for a paris one!! :)

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is well.

Sorry you are having family drama Lisa. I know how that is, and it's not fun!

I will have to check out that blog! It sounds good!

Does anyone have any fun plans for the weekend? We are planning on taking Seth on his first trip to the zoo. The weather is supposed to be really good, and we really want to take him before the end of the summer. My Dad also might be coming along, as he never gets to see Seth. Should be a fun day.

I really can't wait for this girls trip. I am craving a Disney trip so bad right now. A ride on Space Mountain (the Disneyland one!!) sounds like so much fun right now.

I haven't been posting in this thread much lately, but we have a lot going on. Tomorrow kid #2 and I are road tripping up to Bothell to drop her and the kitties off with my parents. I'll leave my car there and fly home Friday morning. When I'm done putting everything in storage and detailing the house I'll pack everything we need for the next month or so in the back of my pickup and head north myself. That trip is going to be two days, I plan to stop in Portland overnight. My pickup is in amazing shape, but it is nearly 30 years old so I don't wanna overload the poor thing.

Anyway, the move is taking shape and starting to feel real. It will be even more so after the kid and cats are out of the way and I can do some serious packing.

We've also been discussing how many trips to Disney we can fit in over the next few months and weighing the drive or fly options.

You know I'll be there ;)

Anyway, dropping in to say hello again while I've got the time this morning.

Do you want to have dinner with us on Saturday night again? We're eating at the same Italian place as we did for the Tinkerbell race.

I don't think I can multi quote on my phone but Wendy are you coming with your mom? Do you guys want to have dinner with us on Saturday?

Anyone else that will be there Labor Day weekend is welcome to eat dinner with us too.

It's almost Friday......:)
School is back in, day 1 is over. The girls seem to be happy but Cassidy wants to drop marching band and switch to wind ensemble, this is fine with me and I signed her paperwork today. this weekend Micah and I celebrate 10 years together. We don't have "plans" exactly but I have a few things I'd like to do with him. We are both off Monday so we may end up going to a hotel Sunday but I'm not sure yet. I'm planning to take him to the CA Academy of Sciences in SF one day, we may do some wine drink....I mean wine tasting another day, we aren't sure just yet.

Kerri congrats on the 10 years!! Hope you have fun this weekend! I have to say although it was really weird having the kids start school on a thurs it is kind of nice. First day is only a half day so not too overwhelming esp in this heat and I don't think they start pe or real crazy stuff till end of next week. Although they have school pics next Fri so hoping they do pics first thing in the morning since the have 6th and 7th period Pe and I don't want them looking like a wreck LOL.

Shelby is in band this year. She plays piano and is not taking lessons this year for the time being (too much else going on) and so she wanted to keep up with her music so she is going to be doing the xylophone or whatever it is called LOL.

We have our big cheer parent bbq this weekend so everyone can get to know the families and then next weekend is jamboree. So that should be interesting and I am looking forward to seeing Katy cheer!

Hope everyone is having a good day and has something fun or relaxing to look forward to this weekend! :)

I do! My sister and I are going to Balboa Island on Sat. I'm looking forward to the weather, 75-78. So much cooler than the 100+ we've been having here.
Then in 2 weeks it's back to the parks.

Thanks Kelly. :) We have school pics next week, Jade has 1st period PE though so it probably won't matter when they do pics because she'll have done PE...although they did say they weren't going to start dressing out until the end of August because of the heat.
Cassidy will still be in Marching Band, just not in the class portion, she actually said her teacher took her aside and said to her "I want you to change to wind ensemble instead of band." so she switched. :)
so turns out we can go stay in SF this weekend, we are just trying to decide if we want to. I'd like to take Micah to the AoS on Monday so I was thinking we could go wine tasting Sunday for a while, go check in, spend the evening at our resort relaxing, then the next day after we check out we can do the AoS and I'll take him to Hog Island Oysters to eat. We just need to decide if we want to do that or if we want to do Saturday & Sunday nights.

My mom, that some of you got to meet at this years Diva meet, was diagnosed with endometrial cancer last week. We went to the doctors today and he said she is at a grade(not the same as stage) 3, which is the most aggressive you can have. She has a few tests (EKG, CT scan, etc) that she needs to get done before her surgery (a hysterectomy). He also thinks she will need both radiation and chemo afterward. She doesn't want me to tell anybody, but I need the support. Please keep us in your thoughts. :worried:

OMG Wendy I am SO sorry! ((Hugs)) and prayers and I am always around if you ever want to chat. I can pm you my number or if you want to just go and have a coffee sometime (since we live in the same town) and just have an ear or shoulder whatever I am available.

Will be praying!!

Not likely. It's been going since 2003. There's a wedding coming up this Fall, so battle lines are being drawn. *snort* Nothing like a little drama in the air.

Oh boy hattfields and mccoys eh? Good luck with that one and bring your "weapons" ;)

Oh, Wendy! Hugs and prayers! I wondered why you and your sister were so upset on FB.

No weapons needed, but it boils down to the fact that I can't tell my mother about the wedding because she is "friendly" with THAT PERSON. *snort* Whatever. I just want to take the mother of the bride and her brother out to the woodshed and either beat some sense into them or lock them in until they either work it out or kill each other. Seriously. It's been NINE YEARS. Get over it. (These are my cousins and the only family I have on my dad's side)

Wendy, I'm praying for you and your mom. My mom had a partial hysterectomy because of a tumor a few years ago, I pray your mom has a speedy recovery and that the chemo & radiation are greatly effective.

I am sending pixie dust your way and thinking all good thoughts.
Please let us know if we can do anything.
Try and stay positive and strong. Hugs to you and your mom.

Wendy: you know I am always here. Has your Mom's surgery been scheduled?
