Air Mattress

My Mom, Best Friend an I are cruising this November on the Fantasy. We will be in a Category V room that has a queen and a double pull out couch. We believe that we won't be comfortable sleeping in the same beds and we are all too big to sleep in the ceiling bed.

It looks like there is enough room in the room for a twin air mattress. Does anyone know if Disney has issues with air mattresses?

Thanks?

Don't know about the air mattress....but on one cruise we were placed in an HA cabin that didn't have the couch or ceiling bunk. After boarding, DCL offered us a roll away bed if they were not able to move us to a standard cabin (they did arrange the move).

Is the queen an actual queen bed or can it turn into two twin beds?

My understanding is that the beds do not separate on the Fantasy.

Do the beds on the magic separate?

The Cat V should have a pull-out sofa bed as well as the bed that comes down from the ceiling. (We have stayed in a Cat V twice, but never had occassion to open up the bed.)

I think an adult could sleep on the pull out sofa comfortable, if not too terribly tall. (You could also sleep on the bunk bed, but might feel cramped.)

Concierge is awesome - you are going to LOVE it!

Yes. The beds on the Magic and Wonder separate into two twin beds.

Thanks Kathi! We are looking forward to it.

We plan to sleep one on the pull out couch and one on the queen bed. We are either too tall or too large for the bunk bed (weight limit 220 lbs).

We are considering an air mattress for comfort for the third person.

With the pull out couch deployed, you are not going to have any floor space for an air mattress.

Since you are concierge, you should email shoreside and ask them what your options may be. I have generally found them very responsive.

I saw a picture on here that shows some space between the couch and the bed. There was a chair and the coffee table/box placed there. It looked wide enough for a twin air mattress. Am I being deceived by the picture? Thanks for your help!!

Can you take the mattress from the pull-down bed in the ceiling and use it on the floor?
