which is the best to stay at?

i'm planning on booking a surprise trip for my best friend from oct 21-24 of this year and i REALLY wanted to stay at AOA in the LM rooms but it literally just sold out! i've heard mixed reviews about the other ones and compared to aoa, they all look BLAH. we won't be spending THAT much time in the rooms, but lm is one of my best friend's favorite movies. i'm leaning towards pop century, but again, the mixed reviews. thanks!

POP! hands down no arguments -- and since its just across the bridge from AoA -- you can pop in and take a look around!

When it was just DH and me, we stayed at AsMu and loved it. We thought the food court was great and we had good bus service. Now that we've stayed at other values, I'd definitely say AsMu was also the least craziest, in terms of crowds and noise. Lol

AsMov is great because of the huge icons. Busses and food court=very busy! But, I'd still stay there again.

However, I LOVE Pop. Busses and food court are usually crazy busy, but I don't mind it enough to not stay there.

I thought music was the quietest. Honestly, each one has it's own fans. We have stayed at all them (except AoA) and find them to be pretty similar. I truly don't understand why some people elevate Pop to another level but to each there own. It actually is a little less favored in our house due to being so big and spread out. I would choose the one which has the theme you like the best.

We personally like POP just for the reason that when we stayed at one of the AllStar resorts the buses were shared and POP has its' own. Other than that they are pretty much the same as far as rooms and service.

has a nicer arcade
and the best - the CM here really try their best to make it special for you

Another vote for Pop Century here. One of the reasons being that it's the newest of the value resorts aside from AOA. Also, Pop doesn't share busses with other resorts.

We have stayed at all the values and Pop is our favorite. My son is Disney security and says the All Stars get noisy esp at night and have a lot of groups there with unsupervised kids. He had to yell at a kid for kicking a soccer ball into door and windows at 3 am.

Just saw this after I started a thread. Is Pop really loud? Specifically in the room? Can you hear neighbors and noise from outside? Pop looks tempting but we are have only ever stayed at WL once and our room was so quiet there. Only heard kids running in the hall once.

We had a room in May 2011 on the third floor facing the lake, can't remember what the bldg was but there was a Lady and the Tramp statue in front. It was very quiet. We were never bothered by any noise.

The only place I think it is really loud is the food court. We have even been in a 1st floor room 60s facing the main pool and I don't think it was bad.

I've never been bothered by people in other rooms either, once in a while you can hear a toilet flush or a shower running, but nothing that is annoying enough to make me mad.

You could request a room that faces the lake. Last year we had a non-preferred room on the 4th floor 70s and it faced just courtyards. It was very very quiet.
