Wow...one of the best experiences I've had calling Disney! The CM was awesome and we got the two demos we wanted !!:thumbsup2

Phone was answered immediately at 7...hopefully Tuesday goes as smoothly!!

She said that the website to book online isn't up and running yet...the site to book the CP at Christmas was two hours late to get up and running, and they are hoping to have the glitches fixed prior to 7am on Tuesday!

Fingers crossed!

Good luck everyone!

Yay!! Got my Tix for Buddy Valastro!! :woohoo:

Already? My mom called twice and was told both times that no one can book until August 14th, even annual passholders. I read in PP's that we're not able to book until 8 so we will try again then. :confused3

What number did you call?

Wow -- I had a great experience as well. Very friendly and efficient CM. Booked Cat Cora, Jacques Torres, and a Moet & Chandon beverage seminar.

She said we can only book seminars and demos right now (good confirmation), but can book for all days of the week. Got my discount, as expected, on the Mon-Thurs events.

Trying to book Gale Gand on 10/27. CM says she has no name for the 5pm demo, but she has Gale for 3pm, conflicting info than on the schedule. Still on hold until she figures it out.

Hmmm, she asked if I was a DVC or TIW member, no mention of Passholder. :confused3 Maybe they think it's only DVC & TIW right now?

I think this was asked but I haven't seen an answer. If the same company is presenting multiple days for the mixology seminars, do they make the same drinks?

Today, you can only book Culinary Demos, Beverage (Wine) Seminars, and Mixologies, and only if have an Annual Pass, a TiW card, a DVC card, or own at Golden Oaks. You can book for every day of the festival, including Friday through Sunday. But only Monday through Thursday events have a $2 discount if you qualify.

The number is 1-407-WDW-FEST today for anyone who qualifies. The line opened at 7:00 a.m. Eastern. In addition, DVC members have the option of calling DVC Member Services which may open earlier than usual today.

NOBODY can book any of the other F&W Festival events, such as PftS, Signature Dinners, Sweet Sundays, until August 14.

I called about 7:15 and was told I couldn't book until 8. Called again just now (7:45) and was able to book. :cool1:

Got both Cat Cora and Jamie Deen too. :)

Woohoo...got the three I needed! Biggest ones are Mixology on N10 and Warren Brown on N10. Not sure why Nala doesnt know Warren Brown...he was on Food Network way too often.

Just called the FEST number and got right in, no delay. The CM asked for TIW, AP or DVC; gave them my DVC number. The CM then asked me if what I wanted was pier 1 or pier 2?? He explained that pier 1 was $14, and pier 2 was $11. I thought it was strange that I had to tell him the prices for the seminars. Also he kept saying I would get a 10% discount for DVC??? When I questioned him on that he said it would be a $2 discount. Oh well, doesn't matter; I got what I wanted. I'm a happy camper.

My mom called three times to book two seminars on a Monday and Thursday as an annual passholder and she was told by three different people that NO ONE (including TIW, AP, DVC members) can book until Tuesday the 14th. I called at 7:37 as an AP holder and was able to book no problem. I guess you just have to keep calling until you get a CM who knows what they are doing. :confused3

Anywoo. We are all booked! Now we just have to wait until Tuesday to book our 3D Dessert Party and we'll be all set!! :cool1:

If they follow last year's format, the drinks should be the same. A later revision of last year's schedule was clearer and listed the drink names. This year, the schedule only shows the featured booze for most of them (so far?)

If a CM looks up a date, there will be Tier 1 and Tier 2 events on the date, but all that really matters is the time. The $14 events are Tier 1. The $11 events are Tier 2. An event can be one or the other, but not both.

Either tier can have a $2 discounts applied Monday through Thursday, until the discount-qualified inventory sells out.

Guests should not even be aware if tiers. It's a Disney system thing.
