Just a little update: I will be coming alone that night - DBF has his Fantasy Football draft that weekend and apparently it requires hours of prep (not to mention reams of paper with charts & stats ) so he won't be able to make it.

I am so looking forward to this!!!

Okay, everyone, here's the scoop:

The total price with the automatic 20% gratuity and 8.875% NY tax is $38.66 per person.

I will not be fumbling with coins, I can tell you that much Ginamarie (who is heading up the fundraising for this event -- please see thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2969104) suggested that we make it an even $40 per person, with the extra $1.34 going to Give Kids the World (the total of all those $1.34s will be rounded up to the nearest dollar, as will the total cost of the check for our meal/tax/gratuity. Again -- no fumbling with change for anyone).

Sounds like a great idea to me! Please let us know what the rest of you think

I am currently working on putting together some raffles for the event, the proceeds of which will be donated to GKTW. I will be preparing a list of raffle baskets and putting together baskets from any donations that people may have.

Do you need tickets for the raffle? I would be more than happy to pick up a roll at Staples. (and donate them to the cause, of course....)

I'm pleased to report that our official confirmed list is now at 26 people -- 1 above the minimum Very glad about that! I would love to get some more people in, though, and will continue to plug the meet and bump this thread until the final headcount is due. The more, the merrier... and hopefully more $$$ for Give Kids the World!
