Yay for C3PO and R2D2!! I know how important this meet and greet was!!

The third time was the charm!!

What I didn't mention was that while he was asleep inside Darth Mall as we were waiting for the M&G, he was having alot of myoclonic twitching. On his Video EEG it showed there was some misfiring but no seizure activity during these twitches. We were told not to worry about it. So while we noticed it, we tried to ignore it like the neurologist (and this was both neurologists) had said.

I can understand having a hard time ignoring it.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to ignore it. But I am very thankful that he hasn't had much of it in the past month or so! Despite what the neuros said, it sure seems somehow related since they stopped over the month his seizures had stopped. 2 nights prior to his last seizure, July 29th in his sleep, he had twitching. Also a few nights after that seizure. But none since.

Sorry to hear about the myclonic twitching. I get very dizzy on Midway Mania as well, but probably for different reasons.

I am staying at hospital overnight for 23 hours so it can technically still count as outpatient. My parents never changed the hotel/floor situation, they still have it in their heads I won't be in a lot of pain even though my surgeon told them point blank I would be.

Oh well, my dad just may be carrying me up

Thanks for all your prayers, since I've done this before recovery scares me since I remember how painful it was. Hoping recovery is a bit easier this time!

Meeting Celebrities and a Minute of Fame​

Too much time has passed since June 10th. What did we do after meeting C3PO and R2D2?! Eventually I know that we split up. I went to go wait in line for my celebrity M&G. Anakin and DH went somewhere to stay cool, then came by the M&G to take pictures. There was a dad and boy behind me. The dad had a wrist band for another celebrity and the dad had the wristband for James Arnold Taylor. The dad asked if his son could take his place. The cm said yes. So I chimed in and asked if I could do the same with my Anakin. She said yes! ( It doesn’t hurt to ask, the worse she could have said was no.) Oh, was he excited when he found out!

You may not recognize James Arnold Taylor by name, but I’m sure you’ve heard his voice. He is an incredibly talented voice actor! He is the voice of so many cartoon characters, voiced over famous actors, commercials, and much, much more. If you google his SWW show Obi-Wan and Beyond, you’ll get a glimpse at his amazing talent! Not only is he talented, but he has heart and compassion. There is a light in him that shines so bright, and an enthusiasm that spills over to those around him.

When it was Anakin’s turn, James Arnold Taylor came out of the autograph booth and over to Anakin. He remarked right away about Anakin being dressed as his character from Clone Wars. (See I told him he’d get comments about his costume today!) Oh those blasted tears! My eyes started welling up. I couldn’t look at Dh because his were doing the same. He invited Anakin behind the autograph stand with him, saying he didn’t know which one of them should sign autographs. Anakin was mesmerized.

He engaged Anakin in conversation. He asked him questions about Star Wars, Clone Wars, SWW, and the attractions. He must have asked about Star Tours because I heard Anakin say he can’t ride it anymore because he had seizures after riding it the last two times. All the while he would change to a different voice. Anakin remained entranced the entire time. It was very touching.

They came out from behind and posed for pictures.

He was on cloud nine! We thanked James Arnold Taylor and headed somewhere airconditioned to wait until it was time for their celebrity M&G with Michonne Bourriague.

Their time for the M&G was after it had already started. When we got there and showed the cm their FP and wristband, he said they were already doing that time slot. So he put them towards the front of the line. Michonne was wonderful with Anakin too. They talked about Episode I and Aurra Sing. She remarked about how well he knew the movie and made a comment about his costume too! I took a picture of them. Then Anakin struck a pose afterwards. Next thing I know, she was striking a pose too!

Since we didn’t get a FP for Nikka Futterman, we decided to go straight to the Behind the Force show to see her there. Anakin was still beaming ear to ear from his M&G. Not only was he beaming, but he was overstimulated. He began stimming. It was mostly verbal stimming and nonstop chatter. We just let him go, but told him when the show starts he’s going to have to control it so he doesn’t disturb the other people watching the show too.

After almost 30 minutes of nonstop talking, he was able to control it for the most part. That is until they started talking about wookie noises. It was too much! He just had to let it out. And from right beside me, came a very loud wookie sound. It caught the attention of the stars on stage. Before I knew it, Nikka Futterman was in front of Anakin with a microphone. With all eyes on him and no hesitancy, he let out another wookie sound into the microphone. He ate up the applause and the compliments from the stars.

This was one time where his lack of inhibition and his impulsivity, were able to be used creatively! I often wonder how these traits will affect his future. He was not the only one who has an impulse moment though. Towards the end of the show, there was a lizard on stage. Ashley Eckstein is afraid of lizards and did not hide her fear from the audience.

After the show, Anakin said he had to see the lizard on the stage. I told him it was time to exit, that we can’t go lizard hunting. But he pointed to the man and two kids looking for the lizard. It was Ashley’s husband, Dave. Anakin walked right over to him and asked him if he sees the lizard. He pointed to where it was and my dh lifted him up to see. My guys and hers spent a long time looking at the lizard and discussing lizards in Florida. I think they all would have spent a longer time chatting, but I got my guys moving towards the exit.

I love the childs pass! I will keep a look out for you. Looks like we are attending Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. If school wasn't starting on the 27th, we would be there on Sunday also.

Ok, got behind again, but I am all caught up now. Love all the pics and the character interactions are fantastic. We never did the autographs, reading your TR I sure wish we had.

No haven't figured out what panels yet. Jacob is in NC with Grandma, I told him tonight to get on his Ipod and check it out.

Did you mean SWW? I'm thinking next Summer I need to go to Texas and see my Dad, so no SWW next year. Not sure when we will make it since school lets out late here.

What an awesome day, full of pixie dust and Disney Magic!! The Force IS VERY strong in Anakin!! He owned it, in all of his meet and greets and interactions. What an awesome young man he is!!!

I was stuck in the same kind of rain/thunder storm in AK, near KRR last year. The crowds that swelled into the Yeti gift shop were amazing and overwhelming. It was literally wall to wall people. The storm went on, vey heavy for a long time. We finally started doing the wave, to break the tension. It at least got a lot of people laughing!!
