Hygiene Items!!

It grosses me out that DS has to hang on to the toliet and put his legs/feet all over. So I got 5 packages of these...

1-5.jpg

And DH has issues with chafing....ssshhhh....don't tell him I told!!

7-3.jpg

I've heard good things about this stuff!

And DD wants to dress as a princess for her princess breakfast! However, most of her dress up dresses are either 1) TOO hot for August or 2) Too small! So I let her pick a new dress out. Too my surprised she picked Tiana! I thought for sure she'd pick Ariel!

5-3.jpg

And of course the Crown!

8-1.jpg

Just found these...I forgot I had picked them up! They were like $5.00. Not sure if they'll do the autograph thing...but just in case!

Callie's princess outfit came today!! She will not take it off!

Like I mentioned above, I told her she could pick a new dress and she picked Tiana! I was hesitant (just because Ariel is her favorite and I was afraid she would regret her decision) but she looks SO ADORABLE and is absolutely in love with it!! Plus...I do think it will be cool in the August heat!

I've only read the first part of your PTR so far but we have had such a similar story! I love that you used the age of your DS as an excuse to go... I did the same thing!! Can't wait to read more! Oh, and I love the pic of your DD waiting for Little Mermaid! :rotfl2:

LOL!!! It was a good excuse....!!! I'm already saying I want to go again before he hits kindergarten!! So that will be in in the next 2 years!

He's POTTY TRAINED!!! :cool1::thumbsup2:yay::dance3::cheer2:pixiedust:

I am SO envious of this!!! I wish Aidan was a bit older so we could skip the diapers!!

I do plan on getting them some kind of bracelet or something with our names and number on it for the "just in case"!

TREX ~ Yes...Call directly! I couldn't get it either but once I called them I got the exact time I wanted!

I know you ended up getting the bracelets (fingers crossed that they come in time!) but just in case you have issues with them I wanted to tell you what we did: in 2009 when Ashton was 5, we used a key tag that you can slide your address in (like a little luggage tag) and attached it to his shoe! We told him if we got lost, just to point out the tag and have them call! They come in multi-packs so we put one on our backpack too!

Is T-Rex supposed to be really good? Both of my boys love dinosaurs... I wonder if it's too late to get an ADR here!

Reya doesn't know what a stranger is and I was more afraid of someone snatching her. Oh my goodness she was so cute. :goodvibes

I just wanted to say how much I love her name!!

And DH has issues with chafing....ssshhhh....don't tell him I told!!

HA! I was just looking at Bodyglide to see if that would be good! I wonder if I should buy this instead!!

LOL!!! It was a good excuse....!!! I'm already saying I want to go again before he hits kindergarten!! So that will be in in the next 2 years!

Yep, that's going to be my next excuse to use!! Great minds... :goodvibes

Yes!! I was SO GLAD that we don't have pack diapers or pullups!!!! He hasn't had one accident in 2 weeks so I'd say we're good to go. I just read to make sure to take him before we get in line for a ride!!

The Bracelets did come...today!!! Along with a lot of other stuff....including the chaffing lotion. And actually...DS had red spots on his legs...so I may try it on him tomorrow...!! I'll let you know if it works!

And I've never eaten at T-Rex....but have heard good things! If you make a reservation...directly call the restaurant. I'm just hoping that DS won't be scared....I heard it can be kind of loud in there!

In between planning (stressing) about our Disney trip....I also had a trip planned to go to Denver, Colorado for one of my childhood friend's wedding! At least for this trip I wasn't taking the entire family! Whew....

So I packed up and headed for a short, but fun filled weekend to Denver. I went with 2 of my best friends (we have known each other since we were babies!!)

summer2012036-1.jpg

The wedding was BEAUTIFUL!! Here was our view during the wedding!

summer2012033.jpg

Every detail was perfect and fit together so perfectly! It was a destination wedding as the couple is from Conneticut....and her parents/friends from Illinois. So it took a lot of work on their part....but they pulled it off...boy did they pull it off!!! :cool1:

Here's the couple...my camera stinks but they still look stunning!!

summer2012048-1.jpg

Not only did 2 of my best friends go....but 3 others did as well!! Most of us have just turned 30....we have husbands and kids...all live in different towns and cities...so it was WONDERFUL to spend time together. To catch up, and laugh, and cry (good tears!!) and enjoy each other companies!! While I missed my kids and DH....I wouldn't trade this weekend for anything!!

summer2012066.jpg

Now...back to planning for Disney...only 10 more days to Disney!!:thumbsup2:confused3

I'm glad you posted on my PTR, since it helped me find you!

He doesn't even want to be around when I mention the "D" word...and whenever I ask him for advice, I get..."Whatever" or "It's your trip...you do what you want!"

I couldn't help but laugh when I read this, it is soooooo my DH to a "T"!!

I loved reading about all your plans, I think you guys are going to have a great trip, and your kids are absolutely adorable!

Love the bracelet idea, especially with a little one that likes to roam.

Your DDs Tiana dress is so cute! Good choice with the heat of August :thumbsup2

Re: Epcot, don't forget about Innoventions. They have lots of fun interactive games in there for kids, mine always loved it when they were younger, heck the still enjoy doing them! They also have the Sum of All Thrills in there, the simulator ride where you create your own roller coaster, that is really fun! Also, if you want to grab a drink in WS and are worried about the kids getting bored try an Agent P mission. They can do their mission while you sip a cocktail ;)

Thank you so much for the advice!! Yeah...I've been seeing more about innovations and definitely sounds like a fun place especially if its rainy or we need to cool off!! And I'll definitely need to look into Agent P Mission...I know I will need several cocktails on this trip!!

Thanks for the compliments!! They kids are cute....I just hope they both do well! And our DH's sound a lot a like....I just don't get em'!! :rolleyes1

We have one more week til our big trip....and I'm starting to stress!!! I think what worries me the most is our DS Carson!! I worry about him on the plane, sleeping in the hotel, trying to run away, screaming in the restaurants.....I know, I know...he won't be the only child to do these things...but still!!

Then you see all these posts on the weather for next week....and everyone is saying storms...and I know, I know...you can't predict Florida weather!! I just want to use the pool at Beach Club!! :rotfl2:

I think I'm as prepared as can be...just booked my Garden Grocer order....just ordered 3 misting fans yesterday...did 3-5 day shipping so they should be here by next Wednesday.

Going to pick up suitcases tomorrow....do laundry on Sunday so I can start packing Monday. Still need to run to the dollar store to get some knick-knacks for the kiddos!

I'm just really glad the Olympics are on....is keeping me a tad calmer (although I feel like I'm competing...I get so nervous for everyone!!)

And after we get back, I start a new teaching position...so I don't think that's helping my stress any!! I need to remember to breath and enjoy the planning! Ok...off to read more Disboards!!

Look at your ticker, you leave in 3 days!!! :cheer2:

Hope your stress level is decreasing some, although with the trip getting closer it probably isn't! Just breath and know that everything will be fine. You might have to tour differently to accomodate your little guy, but it will still be a great trip!

My stress level was getting better....am pretty much packed....and then DS woke up around 11:30 last night and puked all over. We could tell he didn't feel good earlier. All I kept telling DH was he has 4 days to get over this!!! Then I told DH, "Or we have 4 days to all get it and get it over with!" Luckily...it was a one time thing...and seems better today! He slept in til like 11 am!!! So I'm hoping he's sleeping it off! We're getting ready to go take a good nap now!

And you're right...I just plan on sending him and DH back to the hotel if he's "done!!" And DD and I plan on doing somethings just "us" like go one morning to MK just to see Rapunzel!!

I will say...DH sent a text today saying, "I hope he feels better for our Wonderful vacation!!" I'm sure the wonderful was in a sarcastic tone...but I'm going to pretend it wasn't!!

I HATE packing!! I overpack....go through everything 100 times....never know where I put something....

So I laid everyone's clothes out.

summer2012053.jpg

summer2012050.jpg

Then I put the kids's clothes and mine in a suitcase....rearranged 3 times because I felt SouthWest would measure it and say it was oversized because I shoved all of DS's clothes in the front.

DH has his own suitcase...but has a lot of the extra stuff we're bringing. So...besides the last minute stuff...I think we're ready!

Put swimming stuff and pj's in carryon....

summer2012052.jpg

And DS wanted to help so bad...so I told him to go pack his tractors...he shut his door...and when I went in his room...here's what I found....

summer2012055.jpg

I can't believe the trip is here. It's bittersweet...I'm SO EXCITED to go...but then I know when I come back...we start school. :crazy2:

That is adorable with your DS and his tractors!!! Glad that he's feeling better - you have enough stress!

I wish you a magical trip and hope you have the best of times for your family!! :goodvibes

LOVE the line of tractors! Makes me miss those days when my boys were little, cherish this time, they grow up fast!

I make piles before I pack too and always feel overwhelmed, it's my least favorite part when getting ready for a trip.

Thank you!! I think I may take DS to the Dr. today....he's been coughing all night and I think I'd rather be safe than sorry!!! I really do hope we have the most magical trip ever!!! :cool1:

I know....I can't believe my DD is already going to first grade....I can remember when she was so little!! I've never brought our video camera to Disney...but am this time to cherish all the special moments!!

Here we are....one day til we fly out!!

summer2012059.jpg

I'm pretty much packed just waiting on some last minute things. DH is working all day, so we'll head to the hotel tonight.

DS has been sick...was up 3 times crying last night. Seems ok today....so fingers crossed he's ok. The pediatrician did give us a prescription in case we need it here.

After his dr. appt. yesterday...we ran to Walmart and found these outfits and the Buzz hat! The hat was $4 and DS LOVES it!!! Also...our 3 mister fans came!

summer2012057.jpg

DD had a lose tooth...and I WILL NOT pull teeth. Good thing her Nana is a Dental Hygienist!! She pulled it two nights ago....so DD will have all her pictures with a toothless grin!!

summer2012058-1.jpg

I've printed everything off...including these "journal templates!!" I'm hoping to do a Trip Report...and hoping this will help me organize my thoughts!

http://www.themouseforless.com/downloads/trip/adultjournal.shtml

So wish us luck....I know once we land in Florida...my stress level will go WAY DOWN!!!!

Hope your DS feels better and you don't need the prescription, but at least you have it just in case.

Great finds at WM!!

Love the toothless grin, so cute!

Those journal pages are really cute, I hope they inspire you to take notes so you can come back and tell us all about your it. Have a fabulous trip!!
