We live in Niagara so normally just drive over early in the morning for our flight. This time I am travelling with some friends, and they wish to book a room the night before. Can you recommend the best hotel which includes parking for the duration? Also, did you book direct or through something like parksleepfly or hotwire? Thanks

We are flying out of Buffalo for the first time this Christmas. After a ton of research on park and fly options, we decided on the Days Inn Buffalo Airport.

It had several qualities that appealed......its right across the street from the airport, there's a complimentary shuttle (and it runs 24 hours, I think), breakast is included (and bfast starts at 4 a.m., so even early enough to grab a bite to eat before our early morning flight), and there's a Tim Hortons on property (let me tell ya, knowing we'll be away from our beloved Timmies for an entire week, this was a huge bonus in my DH's book :rotfl: .....one coffee en route to our flight out, and another as soon as our feet are back on the soil :rotfl2:).

Rates were pretty reasonable, too.....$129.99 for a one night stay and a week's parking.

Tripadvisor shows that it gets pretty decent reviews overall. I always check Tripadvisor before booking to get a feel for the overall tone of guests' past experiences.

We booked direct with the hotel.

Have not stayed at the Millenium before but their deal was too good to pass up. I did hear mixed re-views but for one night, I'm taking the chance. $89 for a standard room with parking for 15 days and free breakfast for 2.

Wow, awesome rate. Where did you find the deal?

If its still on, I would consider switching.

Someone on here posted and I emailed the hotel directly and they emailed me back. They had 3 levels and this was the rate for the standard room. Breakie starts at 6:30 though, but for the savings you can eat at Timmys:)

Thanks for the info. Off to email the hotel.....wish me luck! :goodvibes

Good luck. I PM'd you as well

Thank you! Sent you a response :goodvibes .

Looks like my date might be blacked out, as it doesn't appear to be valid for the code. Still sent the hotel an email just to be sure.

Ugh, that's what I get for travelling at a peak time like Christmas!!! :scared:

Just heard back from the Millenium.....their $89.99 promo is good for stays through September. I'm out of luck for my Christmas trip, but hopefully someone else will be helped by this info!

Holiday Inn Express is our absolute favorite :) for cross border shopping or flying to MCO we always stay there. Great free bfast :)

We are trying The Staybridge Suites this Christmas- $117 with taxes includes 14 days parking. We booked through this site http://www.buyreservations.com/park-sleep-fly-hotel-search/ which has several other hotels as well starting around $80 with parking included.

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites and it was amazing. Free Dinner and Beer/Wine Sunday to Thursday, outdoor Fireplace, huge TV and fireplace, and a home theatre room. Will be staying their again. we got a deal for $89 on a site, cant remember which one now but was mentioned on these boards. Free Dinner and drinks, Parking and a suite for 3 adults and a child is robbery.

Just found it, http://www.trinityreservations.com

a few bucks cheaper than buyreservations.com at the moment for dates i was looking at.

Thanks for the great answers. I emailed the millenium twice, got the automated answer, but no respone at all. Is there a particular code I can use, or do I have to hope they decide to answer my email?

We love the millennium, we'll be staying there the night before our flight with a courtyard room (walk out to the pool room). it's very quaint and cute!

I would have considered the Millenium but they won't message me back

If we get lucky and get a breakfast deal we stay at the millenium. It's just a bit crowded for us now that my three kids are getting older but we looove the walking distance to the mall. This year we are staying at the comfort suites. I went thru hotwire. We like the breakfast there. We've also stayed at the best western and since their breakfast starts at 4:30 it's a good place to stay if you have an early flight.

Thanks for all the great help Finally got a response from the Millenium and we got the $89 special, which includes the room, the parking, the shuttle, breakfast, and walking distance to the Cheesecake Factory. Now, just have to wait.
