Me too. Most if my friends think my DLR obsession is...well immature, wierd, or something.... I don't understand it. ;)

When I say I'm going to DL my "other" friends always AGAIN? They just don't know what they're missing.:)

Very excited here .... the Dessert Party at WDW just opened up for booking for October today and ...... I got Oct 20th for 2!!!!! Now all my reservations are made!!! :dance3:

Hello ladies! :)

Just stopping in to say bye! I don't have a fancy phone and my mom doesn't have a computer so I don't think you'll see me around here for about 3 weeks! Try not to miss me too much.... :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

TTFN! :tigger:

Woo hoo! I still have at least a month to wait to make mine.....

All I can say about the new stuff at DCA is "WOW!". I loved EVERYTHING! And I got to see Jessica working on Tuesday night! She looked totally adorable in her outfit at Oswald's!

Have a great time Beth! Hope to hear all about it when you get back! :goodvibes

How cool you got to see Jessica, Lisa! Sounds like she is getting lots of visitors lately.

Hi ladies! Trying to watch some of the Olympics and get my toga ready for a themed LCR (left, center, right) party tomorrow night.. Although I have this shiny new app I am sooo far behind! Work and football are killing me right now. tammy and I were able to sneak away to the parks yesterday to visit with our aunt (dads sister) uncle, cousins and cousins wife/inlaws. It has been over 20 years since I saw them last and we had such an awesome visit. We didn't get home till almost midnight! But it was soo worth it. ( except for the humidity... It was pretty gross outside )

For the ladies at DL now or going soon, wear comfy light clothes.

Beth I hope you have a fantabulous time!

Jen - good luck on your job search!

Happy Birthday, Anniversary, __________ (fill in the blank) to anyone that I have missed.

I agree! WOW. Can't wait to get back there. Still haven't seen Jessica but I always keep my eye out for her.

That is exactly what I said - WOW! And Jess - you look so happy and cute working at DCA! My friends keep saying how "bubbly" she was!

Lisa so glad you had fun! We enjoyed it but wish we didn't have to go right after it opened. It was pretty crazy then but that was the only time we could go working around all the girls sports and stuff.

We saw Jess when we were there several times. Course we are in the shops all the time LOL. She even was our cashier ;) Got a really cute pic of the girls with her that is on my FB.

Really looking forward to going back but we are going New Year's week so I fear it might be just as ugly. So glad that we are going during ladies trip weekend. Hoping it won't be as bad then. Katy has a cheer comp there that weekend so we are going for sure either way. :)

Wendy I know what you mean with the football. This is Katy's first year of cheer and we have already done several camps and reg practice started this week. 3 hours a night (faint) That is more than soccer or swim. Don't even know what to expect on game days. Soccer was 1 hour and swim was all day so I am sure it is somewhere in between. Plus we have all sorts of fundraisers. Our team (jr midgets) has a night and we have to do a snack bar at practices, then car washes and of course selling cookie dough. It's craziness. And Jamboree is coming up and I heard that is a LOOONG day. But I am used to long days with swim. ;)

Katy has Meet of Champs for swim this weekend and she finishes up at Sac state today. They get their schedules for school next week and Shelby starts tap so busy busy busy!

Katy is also doing 5K's and has a few coming up so we have LOTS to keep us busy till the next Disney fix ;)

Hope everyone is having a good day and have a GREAT weekend! :)

I'm here :wave2:

Hey Kandace...I would love to meet up with you at the Mouse Meet tomorrow!
My daughter & I will be working at the registration desk until around 11 if you get a chance please stop by & say hi!! :)

I will most likely be wearing a red Disneyland shirt. (Maybe a yellow short sleeved one?) I'm thinking the long sleeved red one though since it might get cold in the A/C! :)

haha Trudi! I get that from my family!! I get "Again, really!??! Can't you figure somewhere else to go?" My brother actually got mad at me one time because we were going back....I told him if he'd like to pay for a trip elsewhere we'd happily go!

We did finally get to the east coast this year. My daughter made the All National Honor Choir & got to perform in WA DC at the Kennedy Center so we took time to sight see there & then took a train to NYC. It was a GREAT trip! Next year for her graduation we are hoping to take our first trip to WDW & then go to St Thomas!

Jess is totally adorable, no doubt about it! LOL

It's still pretty crazy back in Cars Land. Radiator Springs Racers was a 3 hour stand by when I was there at 9AM. Single rider was about 25 minutes. The line for Fast Passes was a 45 minute wait to GET THE PASS. Single rider was definitely the way to go! Mater was about a 20 minute wait, but Luigi's was an hour almost all day. I finally rode that at closing. Walked into the line just before they closed it about a minute later. It was still a 25 minute wait. I'm glad I did it once, but I won't be in a hurry to do it again unless the wait time is 20 minutes or less. I guess I'm really spoiled by going off season. LOL

Popping in while I have a moment :goodvibes It's been awesome to see those of you who have stopped by or found me while you've been at the Parks (or in the case of Kelly - I found you!!). I love seeing everyone, even if I can't chat for very long. And thanks again Bridget for playing along with my trivia. Best part of working back in Cars Land, let me tell you! Oh, and did I tell you about my absolute favorite hidden mickey, and if so, did you get a chance to find it?

I do move all over the place so there's really no telling where I'll be but if anyone's gonna be there on any given day and wants to say hi, just shoot me a text or message on FB and I'll let you know where I'm supposed to be if I'm working.

Anyway, I'm definitely still planning on being there for some parts of this trip although I'm still having the hardest time saving any money up for the fun things like meals and the like. But at least I'll be around.

Cittycat- I will try to find you at the registration. I think I will be wearing my wow pink Disdivaland shirt from the Diva meet last year, you won't be able to miss in that!!! See you tomorrow, I think it is going to be a great day and I'll get my Disney fix!

Wow, I cannot believe RSR is still running such long lines. Hopefully the popularity dies down a bit before we go in October. I think Mater is a lot of fun. While we were waiting in line on our trip in June, there were some birds mating in the rafters. It was quite amusing to DH and I. We tried telling them that Disneyland doesn't allow that sort of behavior but they didn't listen to us.

I have the Color Run 5K in the morning. I am pretty excited to get colored up. With everything happening, the Tough Mudder is back on for me, but since my sister is getting married the night before the DL half...I have to let the cost of that ticket eat a hole in my pocket. It is such a bummer to miss out, again, on that awesome race.

Good news on the job hunt- an ASL teaching position opened up much closer to home, but they require a teaching credential. I called and told them I have been teaching and still they said no. Well, now they are 10 days out and still need a teacher so they are willing to work with someone trying to get their credential - my old professor who is Deaf wrote me a glowing recommendation and another of her former students teaches at that school. Between the two of them I may have an in. Hopefully, I will hear something early next week. :goodvibes

Good luck on the job! My youngest daughter will be taking ASL this fall in high school. She wants to be sign language interpreter, and has been looking at college programs. So far all we've found is a 2 year certificate course in Oregon. She has a bit of time as she's just starting 10th grade, but we want to be fully prepared by her senior year so we're going to do some more in depth research once we get moved to WA next month.
