It sounds like you've got a lovely morning planned! I have never been to breakfast at the Crystal Palace but the puffed french toast is making me rethink future plans.

Why not walk over to the Contemporary, hop on a DTD bus and then walk over to the Doubletree?

I think it goes without saying you are certainly on my list of favorite Dis'ers I'd love to meet. There really are some great people here on the Dis. I've made some really amazing friends.

My mom is doing pretty good, she's done with chemo and she just had the cancer removed and reconstruction done on the 24th. Now she'll just have to go through radiation.

The only issue I had with the radiation was a little "sunburn/dry skin" and I was tired. I hope that is all your mom has to deal with.

You will absolutley LOVE the F&GF!! It's really hard to be in EPCOT when it's not going on, they make the park so beautiful you don't want to be there at any other time.

Now that we are going for Christmas decorations, F&GF is the last thing I want to see at Disney.

Taking the kiddos for their first anniv. is a great idea, just be prepared for not wanting to be there any other time of the year after you see EPCOT in all it's splendor.

I really want to take the kids for their 1st anniversary (and then maybe Mark will quit telling me he hasn't been in 12 or 13 years.

Awwww, next to your last day. But it's a good day since you'll be in MK, my favorite park. You don't do Splash or BTMR?
I love eating at Crystal Palace, it's such a beautiful restaurant. I have yet to try the puffed french toast, I wish I had tried the breakfast lasagna they use to make. We try and get a ADR for 8:05 am when we go so we can get into the park before it opens and get pics in front of the Castle without all the people in the picture.
It's so amazing to walk down the middle of Main St. without all the people crowding you. I feel like I can take my time and enjoy Main St.

I wanted the 8:05 but couldn't get it (but you can bet I'll keep trying as we've loved doing it at that time in the past).[/COLOR]

I will tell the giraffes you said hello. I was able to get an ADR for Cape May...but NOT until 8 p.m.

If you can't get an earlier ARD and you want to eat early, just go up to the podium right when they open ( around 4:-4:45) and if you can be seated early. Worked for me and Chris when we had a late ARD and were wiped out.

Oh - you have eating at my favorite breakfast buffet. I loved that puffed french toast. So good. Love Mark's Eeyore ears.

Hmmmmm - not sure how far down the road the double tree is, but if its close to DTD you could probably just walk from the Marketplace at DTD to there. Or take a cab from DTD.

I know exactly what you mean about packing better/faster without the hubby there. I'm the same way. In fact, I'm hoping I can have Reid stay at school a little later than normal (with the stay & play bunch) on the day I'll be packing. It's just so much easier when you're by yourself.

And for anyone that is in those WDW restaurants in Dec that my bestie mentioned please keep your ears open for the Happy Birthday song...my mission is to get the entire restaurants singing to Mark...yeah, at every single meal....and yeah, maybe counter service too!

Well, as you all know, I was NOT happy with an 8 p.m. ADR at Cape May on our relaxing day (especially since we have a busy day the next day which I've not gotten to...so just take my word on it).

So I went on the Disney site today and still only an 8 p.m. So I figured I'd check our arrival day and I was able to get a 5:10 ADR at Cape May and snatched it up. It makes more sense. We arrive on a Saturday and DTD will probably be a zoo.

So this is how the two days will now go:

Arrival day (Saturday, the 15th)

We'll arrive, take ME and check into the resort. Then we will take the boat to DTD so we can go to Guest Relations and get our annual passes and the TIW card. Then we'll boat back to OKW and swim and then unpack when room is ready. We'll then head over to the Beach Club for our much earlier dinner and then go over to the Boardwalk and walk around there since we've not been in years.

Relax Day (Wednesday, the 19th)

We will still have our Boma breakfast, swim, hang out and resort and then go to DTD and eat at Earl or WPE and do our shopping.

I'm much happier with these plans.

Oh, and for the pick-up of the rental car on Thursday, after our breakfast at CP, we'll take the bus back to OKW. Then we'll take the boat to DTD and walk over to the Doubletree which is right across the street.

Okay...carry on boys and girls. And I'll do the next part of Thursday tomorrow time allowing.
