This will be our 3rd trip coming up in December and I'm going to try to make myself ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. I hate drops - and I'm really nervous about it - but I'm going to try to get on it this time with my husband!!

I do not like roller coasters at all, but RnR is my favorite ride ever! Being in the dark with the Aerosmith music blaring is the best! Try it and I bet you will love it too! I was terrified the first time I rode it. And then, I rode it 3 more times in a row. It's awesome! Can't wait to ride it again in October. Our son started riding when he was 7 and he loves it too.

Our list:

~ MNSSHP - going this October - can't wait!!
~ Stay @ Epcot Resort
~ Ride ToT with my now 9 year old (planning to do this in October). It will be his 1st time riding it.
~ Go to at least one of the waterparks (maybe in 2013)
~ Get a yummy treat from Main Street Bakery
~ Take our youngest son on his first ride on Splash Mountain (hoping to do this in October).
~ Ride Astro Orbitor (just to get photos of my boys for their scrapbooks)

I forgot to add that we are going to visit the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Campgrounds too! We will be staying at the campgrounds for a few days in May.

Next time, I'm hoping to:
-Visit Goofy's Candy co
-Visit the Boardwalk
-Ride Space Mountain
-Ride Splash Mountain
-See the Main Street Electrical Parade properly
-Meet Rapunzel
-Get my hair pixie dusted at the barbers shop on Main Street
-Eat my first Mickey bar!
-Watch the fireworks from the Poly beach (I'm treating mum to a birthday meal at the Kona Cafe)

One thing that I have always wanted to do is make it to a park before opening, but sleep always seems to win the battle... ;)

OK. I've made up my mind and WILL get on RRR!! Our trip isn't until December and I'm already nervous, but I'm committed!!
*must remember to pack my big girl panties*

I hate drops! I mean, really....I hate that feeling of my stomach in my throat! RnR dosen't have any drops but the take off gives the same effect. HOwever. once you get past those first couple of seconds the ride is amazing! Absolutely one of my favorites!!!

I still haven't tried TOT because all it does is drop....don't think I ever will either.

My 1 thing, and I know I'll be slammed for this, I've never had a Dole Whip. It's not that I've been avoiding them. I just never seem to find them. This year's trip will be a mission. We WILL have our Dole Whips.

If you have never looked for paint brushes on Tom Sawyer's Island, it's a must! A great challenge and an exciting reward when you find one! Get there at 10am, right when it opens to get one, there's only so many hid a day! Good luck! and have fun!

One thing that I really want to do is behind the scenes tour!

My list:

Characters in Flight Balloon--this will be our 4th time trying. Every time we have attempted to ride it, the wind was too "strong".

Fantasia Garden Mini Golf--yep that keeps getting put on the backburner along with Tom Sawyer Island :confused3

I have to say my yearly must is Cinn. Roll at Main St Bakery :cool1:

And my opinion...I love drops, falls, all that stuff, ToT, EE, RnR but Mission Space the side that is worse (??orange) will never, ever do again, all 4 of us were totally nauseated. I have to say Astro Orbiter is another that made me quite nauseous...

Next visit I plan to :

  • Travel to WDW with friends
  • See Finding Nemo show in AK
  • Get a spot in front of the castle for Magic, Memories and You
  • Take the kids to Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique

I've always wanted to do a behind the scenes tour!! My hopes of becoming a Cast Member have stopped me from doing it. I always tell myself I want to experience it that way my first time. They sound so cool though!

I just heard about a secret barber shop on Main Street and I really want a hair cut there!!!

find as many cool cupcakes as I CAN.....get a homemade ice cream sandwich.....eat in the Italy restaurant...it's all food for me!:cool1:

We are taking our 3rd family trip to WDW in 23 days (my 6th trip), and I've never had a dole whip either...I too am determined to wait in line as long as it takes! :cheer2:

We've already done many of the "must-dos", as well as a lot of the "off the beaten path" events. Other firsts for us this trip will be:

Hoop-Dee-Doo (not normally my thing but I know that folks love it!)
Dinner in the Castle (finally got the ADR!)
The Disney Cupcake Challenge (from the Disney Food Blog website!)

What a fun thread! Thanks! :thumbsup2

Next time I hope to:

- Walk the Pagani Trail at AK
- Catch the Finale of American Idol at DHS
- Get the Cowboy scene of the Great Movie Ride at DHS
- Watch the Holiday storytellers around the world at Epcot
- Try one of the infamous waffle sandwiches that I hear so much about in MK

I want to ride the monorail through all the resorts (we didn't get a chance last time), stay at a deluxe resort and take one of the special tours!

What a great thread!

Next trip will be either May 2013 or 2014 & we will definitely do our following "nevers"!

We have never:

Ridden Tower of Terror
Ridden any water rides
Gone on the Liberty Square River Boat
Gotten a Dole Whip

I have seen numerous mentions of the Hoop Dee Do Review...we did do this in 2009 & my DS9 &DS12 still talk about it. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.
I would also like to eat at a few TS restaurants. Maybe lunch instead of dinner?
