Helen Your family is absolutely gorgeous (including mommy) :dance3: And your plans are fantastic!!!!

I'm subscribing! Can't wait to read more :)

You look like you have a wonderful family!

Hey Helen, your first few days are shaping up to be just wonderful. You have so much planned for you children.

I know I have mentioned this, but you are a beautiful family xx

Sarah, thank you :goodvibes I hope things go according to (if not better than) plan!

Thank you for your sweet words :lovestruc and for reading along!

I'm enjoying it! It's so much fun planning a trip for our precious kiddos. We did the Harmony Barber shop last year (it was timed perfect for back to school haircuts) All 3 girls got their haircuts...then we got ice cream :goodvibes

That sounds perfect...haircuts and ice cream (I may have to steal that idea ;))! It is fun planning a trip for the kids...but like you, I hope one day to be planning a trip for just the hubby and I :goodvibes and leaving the kids with grandma and grandpa!

The Main Street Bakery has those yummy ice cream cookie sandwiches that feed at least 3 kiddos....YUM!!!

Last year was DH & I's first trip anywhere without the kiddos EVER! We started having kids very young, so they always come everywhere! Plus I had such Mommy guilt, since DH & I both work full time. But I miss my DH, we work opposite shifts, so these minitrips are so valuable...however, DMIL has never had the kiddos for 3 nights...she may not want to do this again:rolleyes1

Small update! My Disney maps came in the mail the other day :cool1: AND I ordered a small lot of 25 trading pins from ebay  And just when I though it couldn't get any better.........I had to run to Target today to pick up a few things. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is a new Disney clothing line that they are carrying! I picked up a tank top for myself (Big Bad Wolf...I wanted Bambi but they didn't have my size :sad2:), a tank top for B (Dumbo. I wish she would have picked the Minnie Mouse...I may have to get it next time if it's still in stock :rolleyes1) and a tee for J (Grumpy). I would have picked one up for L3, but he has been so picky with clothes lately. They also had it available in toddler girls/boys and baby girls/boys- I didn't buy I* anything since she already has a few outfits from Etsy. I will take pictures of everything once I get the last Etsy package...should be here soon :dance3: I should have checked to see if they had any men's tees! Just another reason to go back ;)

Anywho...I came across this list while doing my daily Disney research. It's the "100 Disney Foods to Eat Before You Die Challenge." Challenge accepted!!! The foods in red are the ones I have already tried. The foods in blue are the ones I hope to try in August!

So how did you do? Lets look at the scoring chart below:

1-25 – Disney Noobie: You need to be a bit more adventurous and really branch out at Disney World. Try new things, use those snack credits to their fullest.

26 – 50 – Disney Foodie in Training – Getting better. You probably have kids and are stuck visiting the Buffets every visit. You drool over Disney Food Photos and have a mental checklist of things you want to try.

51 – 75 – Disney Foodie – You have been around the park. You know what you like and try to get out and try new things all the time. You probably blog about Disney or fill your Facebook wall with articles from Chip and Co or Disney Food Blog

76 – 100 – Disney Food Addict – Someone get this person a Dole Whip cause you have earned it! You are the Elite! People come to you when they have food questions. We need for you to join us on the site and blog about Disney Food for a living!

20...I feel like such a failure and am embarrassed to call myself a WDW fanatic  Good things is after August- I shall be a "Disney Foodie In Training." My new goal in life is to become a "Disney Food Addict"- although I thought I was already :confused3

We have never had anything from the MS Bakery...just another thing to add to my list :yay: And I can definitely relate to you- where we go, our kids go :rotfl: They have never had a babysitter (other than their grandparents, and that doesn't happen very often- my ILs are in FL and my parents are in WA)!

That list is amazing. I've been meaning to try the turkey leg. what did you think of it?

I loved it! It was pretty big though- I had to split it with my mom :rotfl: It was really tasty, just don't try and find out how many calories are in it like I did :scared1: :rolleyes1

Wow! That's pretty cool! I'm a picky eater so I fall even shorter than you :)

I'm sure you will have fun trying all the new foods during your trip!

My fiance is super excited to try the big turkey leg on our trip. That is like one of the main things he talks about...

Yes, I am picky as well- so sadly I will never eat everything on that list. Anything that is exotic or seafood is OUT! I'm sure he'll love the turkey leg...don't forget to take pictures, they make a great photo op :rotfl:

:flower3: We had a babysitter for a year, but I used her only for work about once a month..she watched them in November, it was expensive, but they had a ball with her..MIL is watching them for the 1st time...fingers crossed. Our sitter graduated college in May :sad2: Definitely put MS bakery on the list!!!!

Love the update....now I have to go to Target...MIL works there...why did sh not tell me about this!!! Probably because she bought up everyting for thekiddos already :rotfl:

And I scored a 14 :sad1:

Same with me...Exotic and Seafood are definitely OUT!

I will definitely be taking tons of photos! I'm in charge of the camera and my fiance is in charge of our brand new video camera!

I bet they will have a blast with grandma :goodvibes

It's the Disney Artist Collection for Target. If your MIL knows that you love Disney...I'm sure she's already seen it and scooped it all up! And I'm sure you'll be adding to your Food Challenge count by your next trip...all the more reason to go back to WDW :thumbsup2

Same with me...Exotic and Seafood are definitely OUT!

I'll be looking forward to the pictures (and video would be great too) :rotfl: I still need to find mine from a few years ago...if I'm brave I'll post it :lmao:

Just when I thought I was done  I booked H&V Play n Dine breakfast on our Hollywood Studios day (Thursday, 8/30), mainly for the littles. I just know that they'll have fun with Oso, June, Handy Manny and Jake :goodvibes And the older kids always appreciate a good buffet :dance3: I hope I'm not overdoing it...we'll be eating dinner there the same night for Fantasmic! seats. We've eaten dinner there before, but never breakfast. I'm actually looking forward to it! And it will get us into the park before opening (8:00 am, HS opens at 9:00 am) so hopefully we won't take too long and get a head start on the rides.

I also received a photopass in the mail today (I guess that's the extent of my "Mickey Mail" since I only booked a room- we are using Armed Forces Salute tickets, will be driving to WDW and are not on the DDP). I'm thinking about pre-ordering the Photopass + though...I need to make up my mind soon because I need to do it at least 14 days before our trip :yay:
