NYC Dis Meet 8/24/12 Pre-Cruise w/PodCast members - DETAILS ADDED page 4!

Hello, all!

Just looking to get an idea of who might be interested in having a meet in NYC on Friday night, 8/24. (See this post: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=45570944&postcount=45)

I honestly have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm willing to work on making this happen I figured getting an idea of how many people would be involved would be a good first step, so please post or PM if you're interested. Thanks!

Just a suggestion, it might help if you mentioned here that the Meet coincides with the night before the NYC cruise that Pete, Walter, Kevin & John are taking, and that some of them will also be there.

I'm holding out for a meet that coincides the the Spirit of America ABD next spring- Philly or DC would be great!!

Maybe, its a 9 hour drive, but I do have the saturday off. Might have to juggle work oh and a place to park once I get there.. maybe..

I put maybe. Its a stinkin far drive from Cape May and I HATE going into the city...I repeat HATE going into the city. But for the podcast crew, I would consider it!

Haha, I only live in Clifton and I hate going to the city I think after living there, it loses some of it's cache... But for this, I'll put that hate aside for sure!

I live in Sussex Cty, but work in Parsippany. I said maybe because a definite yes or no really depends on location & timing. =)

Maybe is good. It's definitely better than no, that's for sure

We are thinking it will be somewhere around Midtown, West Side. Exactly where will depend on how many people are coming. As for time, Kevin said "night", so I'm going to take that to mean around 6 or 7? I don't know for sure. I actually took the day off, so I can definitely go earlier than that. Or later. Whatever, I'm flexible

6 or 7 is fine for us.

I said "night" as I felt most folks would have commitments during the day.

It's a Friday and for most folks, that's a work day.

I think 6 or 7pm works out well....but nothing says that's written in stone.

We're flexible as to the time.

Excellent Once we have a better idea of the number of people, we will start tossing around more concrete ideas about time and place. Very exciting!
