Hey everyone!
My name is Valerie and this is my trip report for my June trip to Walt Disney World.
I'll explain the quote in the title later,but for now let me introduce you to who was with me on this trip.

June 19th
PART 1

After waiting months for June to come,today was the day we were leaving for Disney!

I did however,had to wake up to find my mother wasn't quite done packing yet. Since it was only going to be just the two of us leaving,she couldn't decide how many outfits to pack in the suitcase. I helped her out and when she was done,we were on our way to the airport. Since my dad was working,my grandpa had to drive us to the airport.

When we got to the airport,my mother had the carry the suitcase,her camera bag,and her purse.
I wanted to help her out but she said she could handle it.

It was about lunchtime when we were done checking in at the airport,so we got something to eat at Subway.
I had a turkey sandwich with chips and lemonade.

My mother told me to go wait near the gate while she goes to the bathroom and call her if the plane gets here. The plane did come and luckily she made it before our row was called to get on the plane.

We were seated in a row with three seats but no one was sitting next to us so I moved over to the window seat. I love the window seat so much. The plane wasn't very crowded,which was weird. And the best part was,we got to Florida earlier than we were expecting to get there!

Once we got to Orlando International Airport,we took the monorail and we're on our way to Magical Express!
We saw the sign for Magical Express and I also saw this

The funny thing was that both Pop Century & Caribbean Beach shared the same bus and we were going to stay at both this year!
What a coincidence. (;

We had to wait for the buses to come and when they did,we were the first line to get on the bus! How lucky are we?

Look how excited I am! lol.

The bus stopped at Caribbean Beach first,so they showed a Donald Duck cartoon.
And since when did the buses have HD Tvs? Must of been new since the seats also had seatbelts and I've never seen that before either.

Once all the people staying at Caribbean Beach got off the bus,we were finally going to Pop Century! And I saw this sign welcoming us

June 19th
PART 2

When we got into the lobby,we checked into the desk and they told us our room was ready.
Which was good because last year it wasn't and we had to wait 3 hours for it to be done. What a relief.
However,originally,they were going to put us way in the back of the resort but my mother had told the lady at the desk that we've always stayed in the back and had never stayed in the front.
So,the lady decided to put us in a section we've never stayed in before...the 50's!

It was nice because we were very close to the food court and the buses. So,we enjoyed where we were staying at.
Pop Century is one of our favorite resorts and it doesn't really matter where we stay. We still really love it.

Now,here are the beds

My sister had called my mother and told her she was on the way.
While she was driving to Pop Century,my mother and I went to the food court to get mugs for me,her and my sister.
I got a blue mug this time since I knew Stephanie would want a pink mug.

When Stephanie finally got here,we collected our stuff and walked to her new car since she was driving us to Animal Kingdom Lodge for our dinner reservation.
I don't remember what kind of car she has but here's what it looks like and yes that's her in the picture lol.

We've never ate at Animal Kingdom Lodge but I've heard so many great reviews about the restaurants,so I really wanted to go!
We had reservations at Saana. I got excited when I saw this sign

The best part about the restaurant was that we had a window seat!
So,we could take better pictures of the animals

GIRAFFE<3

This bird kept being a creeper lol.

Here's what I ordered:
Chicken with Red Curry Sauce,Shrimp with Green Curry Sauce,and Rice.
It all tasted so good together! <3
Oh,and I had the mango smoothie. Soooooo goooooooood.

For dessert,I had this sort of Strawberry Shortcake cake.
It was simply delicious<333333

So,if you're looking for a good resort restaurant to eat at,I recommend Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
I don't really like spicy food,but the food wasn't very spicy and I enjoyed it a lot!

June 19th
PART 3

After our dinner at Animal Kingdom Lodge,my mom told my sister we needed to go to a grocery store or Walmart to get food and other things for the parks.
So,since a Walmart was close to her apartment,we decided to go there and my sister also wanted to show us her old apartment room.
(Since now she's going to be moving to another apartment,it's old)
Now,here's the mini story of our experience at Walmart...

When we walked into the Walmart,it was super crowded!
Seriously,when we were going down each aisle there was a lot of people.
I even got my feet ran over by other shopping carts. Not fun.
I'm not used to being in busy grocery stores because nobody shops in Pennsylvania apparently.

So,we left the Walmart and my sister drove us to her apartment.
It was very nice and I feel bad that she's losing it and has to move to another apartment.
Oh well,at least she found a new place.
None of her roommates were home except for her roommate's dog "Benny". Oh my,he's adorable<3333
However,if you make any sudden movements,he gets scared and runs away.
So cuteeeeeeee.

After that,she drove us back to Pop Century and my mom and I decided to take a night walk like we usually do every year.
Here's some night pictures I took of Pop Century:

The best part about staying at Pop Century was that there was a walkway to Art of Animation<33333333
So,we decided to check it out and was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY.
I've never been in love with any resort in my whole life. It's just that amazing.

Then,we checked out the lobby:

A security guard saw us checking out the lobby and gave a little tour and history of the resort.
It was very awesome of him to do that.
As the Disney expert of the family,when he noticed us looking at the chandler,he mentioned the John Lasseter signed picture and I was looking for it since I knew about it already and he showed us where it was:

He was a great tour guide and made the experience of seeing Art of Animation for the first time so great.
And he and I had a wonderful conversation about animation and he gave me a piece of paper and I drew a picture of Simba for him.
He absolutely loved it.

We did check out the Cars wings but however,my camera battery started to die so I don't have any pictures from this night but we do visit this resort again

June 20th
PART 1

Today,we had reservations at Crystal Palace at 1 PM.
So,we didn't wake up early or have breakfast since that's the same thing we did last year.
Stephanie gladly volunteered to drive us to Magic Kingdom since most of the reservations were made under her name and she had to be there.
Luckily,since Stephanie is a cast member,she gets free parking and free access to the parks. Yaaaaay!

After getting through security,it was about 12:30,so we had to speed walk to Crystal Palace.
The bad part was that there was a whole bunch of people waiting to check-in.
Good thing that our reservation was only going to be a few minutes since it was just the 3 of us. Phew.
After waiting for a while and watching the castle show,it was time!

CHARACTER PICTURE TIME!~

Sadly,it started to pour a lot so we had to stay and sit in the Crystal Palace and wait for the rain to be over.
Once the rain stopped,my mom suggested we'd ride It's A Small World since we just ate and it's her favorite attraction.
So we walked to Fantasyland and It's A Small World's line was crowded!
Stephanie and I didn't want to wait in line but mom dragged us in line and the line did move. Sort of...
We did finally get on the ride

It started to rain,AGAIN.
So,we rushed to Mickey's Philharmagic and there were tons of soaking people coming into the theater and throwing around their wet ponchos.
And cast members had to repeat like a hundred times for them to take them off in the theater. People don't listen.

The rain stopped when we were done watching the movie
and Stephanie took us to see some of the new Fantasyland Expansion that was open.

The Casey Jr Soak n' Splash thing looks fun but I'd rather get wet over at Splash Mountain lol.
I'm warning you,you will get wet even if you're standing on the stairs!

Since we were done in Fantasyland,we decided to go to Tomorrowland for some more rides to go on~

June 20th
PART 2

We got to Tomorrowland,and luckily it didn't start raining.
Stephanie and I wanted to ride the TTA but mom was afraid that the seats were going to be wet from the rain.
So,we decided to go ride Buzz Lightyear since it was only a 20 minute wait.

Every time I've rode Buzz with Stephanie,she's always beat me but this time I beat her!
I've never going to hit 99999 points,ha.

But as we were pulling in to get off,the ride broke down for some reason.
We stayed there for about 15 minutes.
I think it was because of someone in a wheelchair but I wasn't paying attention.

After we finally got of Buzz,we walked onto the TTA.

What was funny about riding the TTA was that Stephanie and I both recited the "Mr Tom Morrow" part together and mom looked at us like she had no idea what we were saying lol.

Then we walked into the Carousel of Progress just as they were closing the doors

One thing I love to do in Tomorrowland is go see Monster's Inc Laugh Floor but I never get picked because I never sit in the right area.
So this time,I tried harder to get picked for the show but sadly once again I've never good enough to get picked.
But I was watching the cast member with the microphone and she was interviewing people on the ends of the seats the whole time.
So next time I know I got to get there earlier.

We were done in Tomorrowland and needed any other land to go to.
The one attraction I really wanted to do since they updated it was the Enchanted Tiki Room and so did my mom so we walked to Adventureland.
