Be been to old town a few times however not in the past couple years and I want to know has it changed? Is the skycoaster still there? Is it expensive for fun spot and old town.
What shops are there? No website links please thankyou!!

I was there once, in 2010. I thought it felt like a dirty old carnival. Got the stoner vibe from the whole area. Myabe it was just me, but I really didn't like anything about it.

A lot of people like the vintage car shows. The rides are pretty expensive. Have fun if you go.

:)

It is an adventure or it was for us.

Very different from the other parks. A bit darker but very interesting. We had a great time. Enjoyed the bikes on display.

Was there a couple of weeks ago so DD could do the zipline. I would avoid going again. Did not seem like a safe place at night.

In a word, gross and smelly. We went once and the smell of booze wafting from the bars was enough for me. It is not a great place IMHO.

Sad to hear. Old Town was a staple of ours when I was much younger, and we stayed off site. Always loved going and seeing the taffy made, looking around the general store, and riding to the top of the ferris wheel and seeing Disney in the distance. It was good, clean, relatively cheap fun.

It's been almost 15 years since we stayed off site, and we are pretty much locked in to Disney property or anything within walking distance. I always missed going to Old Town, as we made great memories there.

Sounds like maybe it is better that all my memories of Old Town are of a better place and time.

We were there in January and it appears once again to be on the upswing. There are new owners and they are changing things up. The bike night is gone since it was attracting problems. It was nicely decorated for Christmas which was new. There were new stores coming. I do hope it comes back it was getting bad. We like Checkers and Flippers pizza so do go a few times each trip but haven't stayed for long. The crowds are definately down for the car cruisev

Me too mmackeymouse! We always used to go here when I was a kid. It's been about 12-15 years for me too. I loved the Taffy being made. That was what I went running to see when I went. I also remember hulla-hooping in a restarurant with my cousin to live music. Sounds odd now that I say it, but it was a ton of fun!

What a shame it went downhill. It was a good old fashioned family area.

I think it is a fun place to spend an evening, especially on the weekend when the cruise nights are going on (if you're into cars at all). Flippers has good pizza. There are some unique stores that you won't find anywhere else. Rides for the kids. A decent go-kart track. Basically just good clean fun and you can easily kill a couple of hours and barely spend anything if you don't want to. Just walking through and browsing the shops can be entertaining.

We were there in Feb 2012 ( so just a few months back) and we just kept driving.....Looked Dumpy to us .......
