The Guarantee / GTY stateroom anticipation/discussion thread!

I'm DYING to know what our cabin is, we are on the August 4th sailing and still no cabin.......the anticipation is killing me : )

Last time (my first cruise AND a VGT booking) I assumed DCL gave you your # at the port...ignorance is bliss! We sail in Sept, and I'm not sure I could wait until 3 weeks out like you have--and still no room. Then again, what am I going to do, cancel? Ha!

OMG Lesley, I don't know how you're not losing your marbles!! if I have to wait that long to find out my room #for my 9/1 crusie I'll freak!

Did you book a VGT, IGT, or OGT ? I am pretty sure those usually get assigned like 14 days out - at least ours did on our last cruise. That wait was murder !!

Don't ya feel like we are the last 2 people on our cruise still waiting!...Maybe it's a "Jenn" thing.....DCL doesn't like our name I guess!

Just got my room assignment for our 10/6 cruise. 8182...the LAST stateroom on deck 8 port side.

Normally it's not a big deal to me where I get assign but really?? Our stateroom is booked for 2 adults & that's the room they put us in?? We couldn't be any further from the cove, where we'll be spending most of our time. Kinda bummed.

I see Sept and even Oct cruisers are getting their room assignments !
I'm a 6B GTY and still waiting for our room---we cruise Sept 29-Oct 6, Fantasy Western. The anticipation is killing me.....I'll be happy with whatever I get. Just prefer to know the cabin #----makes it feel more real to me

In a 9C GTY and I know some of those cabins not as highly rated. Hopefully a noisy cabin wont' bother us too much. Thankfully my son sleeps pretty soundly these says. Did your category include cabins forward and near the Cove? If so, I'd be bummed too. Hope you are still able to have a nice trip.

It's a little different for me...I'm a DVC member who booked on points & this was the only balcony Cat left for me to book.

I thought I was okay with the cat I booked until today. I'm not at all familiar with the fantasy...all my cruises are with the magic & wonder.

Maybe try to upgrade at port? I hope it works out ok for you guys.

I booked an 8C GTY for our Oct 20 Cruise. At the 105 day point when I was booking our excursions I noticed we had our rm assignment. Its an 8C. I am wondering how many times before the cruise the rm # is going to change.

We are also members of the GTY club We are booked on the 9/23 Wonder California coast cruise We have a 11B gty and hoping for some pixie dust. However we have had the 11B before and loved it so we won't be disappointed either way

Good morning...I to am waiting on my 6A guarantee for September 1 Western Carribean on The Fantasy. I also have a VGT for the August 25th Eastern Carribean so I'm wondering when I will get my assignment....it will probally be really late!

On our FE list, there are 13 cabins that are listed as gty status. It looks like there are many of us in the same boat. (or should I say on the same boat without a cabin assignment!) I wish we were leaving tomorrow..I need a vacation SOOO bad!
