We also received the e-mail that Disney card holders can get free dining before the general public, we booked this morning headed to the world in November

Thank you so much for this information. I just found out we have to cancel our trip in Aug that we had free dining for. The dates we are thinking about changing to fall under the dates being offered. Now I just have to play the waiting game and hope there is availability at the resort on Thursday.

Just got off the phone with WDW - I was able to get free dining for my entire trip Oct 3 - 13!! We are staying at the POP Century Resort. The offer was for free quick service but we upgraded to the regualr plan and we still saved over $600!!!!!!! What a blessing!!

Of course it excludes LM rooms at AoA where we are staying, but that's okay!

Yes I just called to see if we could get it for our dates and it is blacked out My dates start on Oct. 14th she said it was until the 5th then started again on the 19th so we are out of luck. I'm thinking of changing my week but I already have my flights booked .

we've already booked for november 15th - 19th at Little Mermaid. if this free dining offer goes to the general public in a few days like many sites are reporting, since i am booked at a resort that is excluded from the offer, should i change my resort now to be safe or just wait and change it when i call to apply the dining offer later this week? thanks!

That would be one expensive vacation. Actually it would be like living at Disney World that would be fun !!!

I'd wait. They'll have a certain amount of rooms set aside at each resort, so getting a non-sale room now doesn't benefit you...you might still have to change resorts from your second booking.

I THINK its a minimum three night stay, with a minimum of two day base tickets.

Does anyone know how much it would cost to upgrade the dining plan? We are staying at Pop, but want the plus dining rather than the quick service. We are wondering how much more it will cost to upgrade and it the price difference is enough to justify just changing to a moderate resort.

It's not much, I stay at pop and upgrade everytime. It depends on your length of stay for total cost. I think for my upgrade for this sept. for a 3 night stay was like 67-100 per person. So probably around 30 or so per adult perday. Not sure on kids.

I believe it is about $16.55 per person per day
