Early November Travelers! For those arriving Nov 1 ~ Nov. 17

Well I had to change my ressies last night. I am hoping joining this thread will make me feel better about Nov. Anytime in the world is better then not. lol. But I really wanted to go in Dec because my 40th bday is at the end of the month, this is our christmas present to the family and I wanted the whole chrismtas expierence. However, the school calendar changed this year and my kids would have missed too much school.

I am sure you can all sell me on the benefits of Nov. I am already thinking cheaper, and less crowds.

I still have to change my dining so I don't have that. But we are a family of four staying at Port Orleans French Quarters Nov 12-20th with free dining.

How do you get free dining? Does Disney notify you? Do you have to ask if its possible? I dont understand the whole PIN thing...can anyone spell it out for me? Hate to be dumb, but I guess its chronic!

You can call disney and ask if you have a PIN attached to your name. You can also sign up for an account throught the disney site and price 'fake' vacations and save them. YOu can order the free planning dvd and maps. Soms say this adds to some ppl getting PIN's but they are random. If a discount is available through a PIN or general public, you have to call to have it applies and you will get a refund.

Thanks! I didnt know if it would be retroactive or not. I sure went to the WDW website often enough to plan book "pretend" trips, to price them and to dream before I decided I really would be able to book a real one! Hope that helped...

We are at WDW 11/6-11/14 and so you know --- you will be able to enjoy the "whole experience" as Osbourne lights and MVMCP both start within your stay dates - 11/9 I believe - though Candelight Processional won't. All the theme parks and resort will be in full festive mode! Actually, your dates are some of the LEAST busy. Jersey week ends the 10th so crowd levels are low. Thanksgiving crowd begins to decend a couple of days before you leave so you might plan MVMCP for one of those last days as regular park hours will be building!

Disney is sending out PINS to - among others - some former guests and/or one who was holding room only ressies. Hopefully they will soon be sending them to Disney VISA holders. Once they see the results of those on vacancy, they should open Free Dining and/or % discount dates to the General Public.

The PINS dates on this current mailing (at least the ones I saw) don't cover early November - they begin 11/9. The current 'book by' dates on these pins ends 7/28, so GP rates should be showing up shortly after that.

If you haven't received a PIN, you can call WDW to ask a Cast Member if you have a PIN attached to your name. If they do, ask them to please apply it to your dates.

If you receive a PIN - or see a CODE on the boards - do the same as above.

All ADR's totally booked for the trip AND food passes bought this morning!! Trip is all paid for and now we just gotta stare at the clock and wait for....four months

Also we are staying the final night at AoA in the LM room, my 4 year old will be super excited to see that. So excited now

I went last year November 12-18th and it was my best Disney trip yet. It is now my favorite time to go. Last year the weather was better than it had been previous years in April or September. Was able to swim the whole trip and never wore pants once. It was shorts and tank tops everyday! I am going again this November. My kids are running in the Disney Wine and Dine half Marathon,so we are staying at Art of Animation Nov 9-11, and then moving to Polynesian Nov 11-16th. Hoping for the same great weather!

You're welcome! ADR's for Dinner at BOG are supposed to open on August 4th, but we still have no opening date. There is a thread here devoted to that, http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2911422

Ticker help,
I will help you best as I can. Go above and click to where it says ticker. Create a vacation ticker and them copy the UBB code, go to where you can edit your signature( on the left hand side of page) click and post into the signature box. Save it and you're done.
