I am looking to rent a car for 9 days from Sept 14-23. I will be renting it from Pittsburgh since I do not trust my car anymore to make the trip. The best I have been able to find so far has been around $250 from a non airport Budget. Does anyone know how Orlando prices compare to other places?

works out to 131!!!! AFTER taxes and fees!!!!!

I can only do a van as there are 6 of us travelling together. DH's parents wont drive on their own.

If I book through Enterprise since there quote is like 400.00 cheaper. Can I cancel it if something comes up cheaper just before we go with Alamo?

My alamo car for sept 7-16 dropped today from $208 down to $174. This is for economy class with the AD2359fdf coupon and insiders number. As I don't have a costco membership this is the lowest right now for me.

I just got an SUV through Dollar for dates Sept 29 -Oct 9 (10 nights) for $253! I went through rental cars dot com and used the Orlando magic card code! This is BY FAR the cheapest we have seen!!! Went through the dollar rental site with the confirmation code to confirm and all is good!!!

What has happened to the days of the Walmart discount code and getting a car rental from Alamo for under $100 for 10 days? LOL Sigh.

But I did manage to use the old standby of the Costco code (7014627) and a $30 coupon code to get a rental for $158 (all fees and additional driver) for 9/28 - 10/8. I started out with a reservation that was $600 for the same time frame but persistence pays, and as others have stated, check daily and at different times. It works.

Note to anyone trying to change their reservation on Alamo ( as opposed to cancelling and re-booking) if you are using the same code but the prices have gone down. You need to re-enter the codes ( even though the code fields are full) to get the lower price to appear.

Otherwise it will just show your current rate again.

I sure had to fiddle with it last night.

Edited to add: I used the American Airlines Coupon code AD2359FDF for $35 off weekly rental also.

For everyone booking via Alamo, use the American Airlines Coupon code AD2359FDF for $35 off weekly rental as well as whatever Corp Rate you want (i.e. the Costco Code - 7014627)

For me, I've found that you can leave the codes alone, but just wipe out the field that says Rate/Product Code

Just shaved another $6 off my Alamo Standard rental.... It's the 3rd or 4th time I've rebooked (modified) just a few bucks lower, but it's starting to add up!
