Just booked the 4-night Bahamas cruise on the Disney Dream, Sunday 24 February 2013.

We've cruised on the Magic and Wonder but this will be our first 'short' cruise, to see how we like the new larger ship when compared to the 'originals'.

Can't find a thread for this cruise but surely I'm not the only DIS member on board? If there's anyone else out there, please stop by and say hello.

I was beginning to think we were the only people booked on this cruise!

We've been on a few Disney cruises, on the 'classic' ships. We're doing this one to see how we like the new ship design.

Hi! We just booked as well! We are WDW veterans but this is our first cruise! After we adopted our medically intense baby, Hubs and I decided to make sure we take each older kiddo on a one on one trip every year. Abby is ALWAYS up for Disney and I have always wanted voyage on DCL. Can I join? And is this the thread that will be used for the FE? I just love that idea!

I was hoping someone else would want to do a fish extender group. We will be cruising with our 5 year old daughter for her birthday and I know she would just love finding fun treats at her door. How do we get a group started?

How sweet! I have no idea how the FE groups thing works.. but please make sure to tell me your state room number so we can make sure to get her a birthday surprise! Five is an awesome year! My DD is 7... when we adopted a super special needs baby we worried that she sometimes felt that she was second fiddle. So Hubs and I make sure she gets a Mommy and Me vacation each year. We have done WDW a few times, now it's time to DCL!

We're booked on this cruise as well, also the shortest cruise we've ever been on, planned some days at Disney World after the cruise as well.
There will be 6 of is (Floyd and Kelly, our sons Donald (13) and David (10), Davids friend Chelsea (also 10) and our granddaughter Ava (5) )
So far thats it, but we may be bringing one of our older sons friends also.

We are going, too to celebrate by 40th birthday!!!!

We are up for FE, too. It will be DH, DD (6) and me in one cabin and my mom in another.

Lots of celebrations.. awesome! Our group will be teensy.. just me and Abby (7). As such, we may not be doing any excursions at all. I would love insider tips and to connect with y'all on here or facebook so I can start getting ideas for FE gifts. OH! Also, I will be driving in from MS and staying the night before in a hotel.. so before you spend an arm and leg for transport to the port, holler at me... we will have 5 extra seats in the minivan.

Has anyone else noticed that both the Walt and Roy Suites are available for our cruise? I thought these were generally booked well ahead and rarely available.

Seems a shame to leave them empty ...... all I need now is a (very big) lottery win!

I just changed our reservation to the 23rd on the Magic out of Galveston.. for 120 more dollars we got 2 more nights.

Myself and 2 of my girlfriends are doing this cruise together to celebrate finishing the Disney Princess Half Marathon (hopefully!) earlier in the morning on the 24th! For two of us it will be our 6th crusie, but it's the first time for the other friend! Very excited!!!
