Pangani Trail is next ….I have never been able to really see the gorillas either due to short on time or way too many people! I had much better luck this time!!

We have about 1 ½ hours left so we decide what to do with our time: It’s Tough To Be a Bug and Primeval Whirl win out! So we begin walking to ITTBAB when we see these guys and we decide to sit a spell and enjoy!!

Of course this decision rules out one of the two things we had wanted to do. What wins out? ITTBAB!!


As we approach the entrance we see Dug and Russell! I snag a quick picture

and we move forward….

And thankfully Madison did not hit anyone in the face when the spiders dropped from the ceiling! (Last year she nearly knocked my mom’s teeth out!!)

After the show, we really only have 20 minutes until out 3pm meet time so we meander in the direction of the front gate.

Everyone arrives on time so and we begin to our last park destination: Hollywood Studios!! And that will be the last park!!!

I love the fact that you can take pictures of people you may know some day. It's so much fun to think someone has a picture of you and you don't know it. I don't understand why that girl freaked out about that concept. People are weird.

Of course ITTBAB won out! Who wouldn't want to go see that. That trumps Primeval Whirl for me any day.

I was really surprised how upset the girl got! In this day and age there are probably tons of pictures taken everyday, everywhere of unsuspecting people!!

Of course ITTBAB won out!! It would always be my first choice! I have actually only rode Primeval Whirl once! Other things always win out!

Seriously, your time at AK has been well spent. You all did a lot for a short day! You should be proud of yourselves! I love taking time to stop and see the "extras" at WDW. The African drummers are always fun to watch and I LOVE the store that's right there too. Can't think of the name of it right now but we always end up making purchases in there!

You got a pic of Russel and Dug! When we were there, the CM manning the line was very hard core about not letting anyone take photos if they weren't in line. He was very nice about it-saying he didn't want anyone taking pics of other people's children. It stood out for me because I've never heard any of the CMs say that before. It also stood out because we'd just sold our house and our realtor made us remove all pics of DD from the walls so that strangers couldn't see pics of her. Creepy.

Looking forward to the HS update! You're next trip is so close now! You must be getting so excited!

The trails are really cool but I have seen little kids get upset during crowded times due to not being able to see very well.

I didn't understand why the girl got so upset either. There are no telling how many pictures I have wound up in over the years!

I was so excited to see Russell and Dug! I snapped that picture really quick but I haven't ever had a CM tell me that. I do try not to get an unknown child but it is more so I have the picture of just the characters. I can see the fear since there are some creepy people out there! I tend to be naive and not think about that since I know I am not taking the picture for unsavory purposes and don't consider others may!

I am aiming to finish this TR before our trip! Time is quickly ticking away!!

3pm was the meet up time at Animal Kingdom and then we were off to DHS! We would play in this park until closing--10pm. We arrived around 3:45pm to start our playing!!

Oh there you are my dear friend!!!

And soon we were going through the gates!

My cohort and I head to the First Aid area which is actually at the front of the park this time! And then we meet Madison and her friends at Tower of Terror.

Now they were supposed to wait for me because my cohort did not care to ride. Did they…no!! So I wait for about 30 minutes in the gift shop for them to exit!

They exit finally and we are off to queue up again. The wait was about 15 minutes which is pretty good! This is another queue that I really love!!

After that awesome ride we begin trying to decide what to do next! We really had not eaten much. Breakfast was hours and hours ago and the pretzels were basically it so we decide to find food!!!!!

They all look at our vouchers to see what the choices are and they chose Pizza Planet! They ask me if it is any good and I state I have no idea since I have never been there. We decide to give it a try and I lead the pack. They were simply amazed that I go through every park and know where to go even if I haven’t been there before (places like Pizza Planet)--and never even use a map!! They just do not realize my awesomeness!!

Along the way we stop for a picture of the hat and the girls try on a hat!

Then a few pics along the way of Streets of America until we reach our destination!!

We made it!!

It is chow time!!

Madison decides to rest on the bars while we wait our turn. Yes, we were all beginning to really feel the effects of three full days in the hot Florida sun, no breaks and long hours!!

I lead the way upstairs because I am thinking….outlets!!! And we score!!! I know my phone will need charging since we will be loading the bus for the ride home and after a full day with no charge the battery is beginning to wane!

I got the veggie pizza, Caesar salad and cappuccino cupcake.

Madison had the pepperoni pizza, Caesar salad and a chocolate cupcake.

I have never eaten CS at DHS before and was very hesitant because all I ever hear is very negative reviews. Well, Pizza Planet was very good and I would go back!!

The kids head down to play a few games in the arcade and I remain with everyone’s phones , bags, etc. While I wait for them, I look through all of my pictures on my camera and find myself dozing off! I was getting pretty exhausted by this point! So I get up and take some pictures of the area…

This area is just too cute!!! By this time it is around 5:30pm so several hours left to play!! Where to next?!

Knowing I was going to get to ride ToT made the effort to stay functioning easier but I really was beginning to feel like a wind up doll winding down!!

I really enjoyed Pizza Planet and upstairs was so uncrowded that it was a nice quiet reprieve! And for Starring Rolls...well, I think I hear it calling my name in a couple of weeks!!

They tire of the arcade pretty quickly, we gather our things and head off for the store across the street…

There is a town about an hour from us (Leland, MS) where Jim Henson invented Kermit the Frog. There is a museum there and we had plans two weekends ago to tour the Delta with that being a stop....torrential downpours changed our minds. This picture reminded me of the boredom of that day!!

At the time we were there, Easter was just around the corner...

Our next attraction is Star Tours.

This is another one that was pretty much walk-on. We waited around 10 minutes. A few pictures along the way…

And then we go to Street of America!

I think I'm jumping in mid-update, but I couldn't wait.

We tried Pizza Planet this trip, and I liked it too!

I understand why you were exhausted! I would have been too.

and then as they come out of the subway I call the picture “Abbey Road” because there was something about their walking stance!

This prompted an immediate “Abbey Road” pose here:

Which then became their signature (you will see later!) Superman Pose!

We walk over to Toy Story Mania but the wait is much too long….90 minutes! This is the reason all of the other lines are short! ….Well, almost!

No one wants to wait this long so we move on!

Everyone votes on Rock-n-Roller and this is where my cohort decides to wander on his own! He wasn’t into the roller coaster/dropping rides so we bid farewell for the time being.

Madison and a friend are “terrified” of ToT!!

Arriving at RnR we see the wait is around 30 minutes but no one really has other desires so we queue up!

As we are going to queue up I snap this picture...

And then the very next picture is this (and we have yet to get inside)...

And then we make it indoors...

The wait is not too terrible and soon we are zipping through the freeways of LA!

We exit the building and plot our next move...

Welcome to my final post of this TR!! By now you are probably saying or but I was determined to finish before my July trip which is only 7 days away!! So I feel pretty that I managed to make it!!

So let's see where was I?

Oh yeah! After an amazing ride…..because RnR is awesome like that…we decide to try ToT one more time! The wait is…..a walk on! So we ride:

And we ride two more times but I got tired of carrying my camera as we walked on/rode/exited/walked on/rode/exited…well, you get the idea!

Attraction wise, this became the highlight of the trip!

One reason the crowds were low was because they were all in Fantasmic! And that was fine by me!!!

We decide we are too tired to continue and Fantasmic! is letting out anyhow so we begin to drag ourselves to the front.

So long my dear, dear friend!!

We are to meet up at 10pm to load the buses! Along the way a few last pictures…

A little shopping (I loved this black and white line!!)

And then a couple of pictures at the entrance before we head to the buses!

We load up and leave around 10:45pm. Then we watch a few movies, sleep, whatever for the next 12 hours! We arrive back in Mississippi and the school at 10:30am. Everything gets unloaded and we head home, grab a Sonic burger and crash!!

I am so glad I went on this trip! I had so much fun and I would not have been happy had I missed seeing my girl march on Main Street! Even though the days were long and hot and we came home exhausted, it is something I would do again in a heart beat !! Every trip to Disney makes its own special memories that last forever!!

The kids were great and no problem which I know added to the trip! Plus they let me hang out with them...pretty significant since I am not a teenager like them!! Although at times I did find myself acting like them and would have to remind myself that I was the parent chaperone!!

And one last thing before I depart! Souvenirs!! What did I get? Well let’s see!

A Mickey Mouse trivet (from that black and white line!) I had seen it at Yankee Traders but it was too early in the day to contemplate dragging that around! I got this one at the store in DHS.

My must have from each trip: Laila from Norway!

And since I was spending the money already….I got a “with purchase” watch!

A huge Mickey Mouse coffee mug from AK…not sure of the store since I just followed someone in but it is one of my all-time favorite purchases!

And finally, I purchased some pjs for Madison and added this Mickey bag in as a “with purchase” add-on.

I love it and it works great toting work to and from…makes taking work home not so bad…well, a little less so!!
